Welcome to the Chichiboulie Blog Hop sponsored by Stamping Bella! Whew, I hope you're not tuckered out with all that hoppin', but if you are... well that's ok. You can sit a spell right here at The Spotted Chick and take a rest while you visit my little blog. I'm #34 in the hop, so if you've just happened upon my blog, you can CLICK HERE to start from the beginning at Bloggabella.
For today's hop, I used Eloise Greengrass and gussied her up with a Christmas theme! I stamped Eloise onto some SU Very Vanilla CS and colored her with my Copics. I needed to keep working on my Christmas cards, so I decided to use this vintage Christmas DP and paper pieced her skirt. Of course she needed a little spah-kle so I used some Glamour Dust on her wings and some gold Stickles on the flower stamen. I just LOVED this bow on the DP and wanted to incorporate it into my card, so I thought I would add to the 3D effect by using this gold shimmer ribbon and a customized brad in the center. Isn't she a beauty??
Now how about a prize? Woo-hoo!! Yeah, I thought you'd like my way a thinkin'. In addition to ALL the fabulous cards you've seen along your journey, there's a prize somewhere along the hop! One pre-selected blogger will draw a random winner from the comments on her post, and the winner will receive a $25 Gift Voucher to Stamping Bella!!! The fun part is...we're not telling you who it is! So as you hop, make sure you leave comments on every post so you have a chance to win!! The winner will be announced on Monday in the Splitcoast forum.
Ok, it's time to hop on over to Sherrie's blog, Card Creme. Wait 'til you see what Sherrie has in store for you. She's totally AWESOME!! I hope you've enjoyed your visit to The Spotted Chick, and I hope you stop back by real soon...

It's Bellarific Friday!
Happy Bellarific Friday all!! The theme for this week was "All Things Kids". Love that one! I'm such a sucker for cute images so this was an easy challenge for me. And to top that off, I used a "Wintery" (is that a word?) stamp so I could add to my Christmas cards too! How's that? Two for the price of one!! This will serve as Christmas card #25!! Yay! I'm half way there!!
I used Snowfight from Stamping Bella for today's card. I thought it fit right in with the Kid theme! Isn't she a cutie? I was going for a wind and ice kinda look. I think I came pretty close, don't you? I stamped my image on to some Classic Crest CS and colored her with my Copics. I cut her out with my circle Nestie and then used the inverted and scalloped Nesties with some blue and silver CS to complete the matting of the image. I added the gems to get that ice look and used my Cuttlebug embossing folder on the background Bazzil Bling CS to resemble the wind. This DP is from Heidi Grace Designs and is a shimmery blue with flocked snowflakes. It's AWESOME and totally fits with my theme. I stamped the "let it snow" sentiment onto the Bazzil Bling CS as well and cut it out with my SU Word Window punch. I finished with this polka dot ribbon tied in a sweet bow! Be sure to leave a comment and let me know what you think of her. Have a great Friday!
Be sure to stop back by tomorrow, I know I don't usually post on the weekend, but tomorrow is the Chi-Chi Blog Hop by Stamping Bella, using only the Chichiboulie stamps. You gotta come see what everyone has created with these dainty, not to mention SUPER cute, images!! Oh, did I mention a PRIZE??? Hmmmm, now that got your attention didn't it? Yep, one lucky person will win a $25 gift voucher from Stamping Bella just for leaving a comment on one of the blogs. Now how easy is that? But which one you ask???? That's the fun part, you need to visit each blog in the hop and leave a comment. Hey, who doesn't like looking at all those terrific ideas anyway!! Sounds like a fun day to me. Ok, so I'll see you back tomorrow right? (he-he)

That's Krafty Thursday!
I am officially declaring Thursday's on my blog as "That's Krafty Thursday". Ok, so each Thursday I will post a card using Kraft paper in one way or another. Whaddaya think? Ya'll know I LOVEEEE Kraft paper so this shouldn't be too difficult a challenge for me.
So here's my first card for That's Krafty Thursday! Aint' he cute? He's tryin' to hide from your oven!! {he-he} My hubby and I took a motorcycle trip this past weekend and as we passed a strip mall, I saw this design with these little squares on their roof and I thought, hey, I really like those squares turned on their sides!!! So I decided to incorporate that onto my card. I used a square Cuttlebug die that has this stamp edge along with this great DP from Cosmo Cricket and I adhered buttons tied with twine where the squares overlapped. I stamped Tucker the Turkey from Whipper Snapper onto some SU Very Vanilla CS and colored him with my Copics. I used the same DP to mat him with and used my Fiskars Stamp Paper Edgers to cut him out with. I thought he needed a little somethin' else so I did some faux stitchin' with a brown pen around the edges and around the edges of the card base too. I printed my sentiment onto a piece of scrap SU Very Vanilla and used my Martha Stewart tag punch to punch it out. Then to finish, I used this great new striped ribbon from Stampin Up and added my tag below. Now THAT'S KRAFTY, huh?
Supplies:
Rubber Stamps - Whipper Snapper Designs; CS - SU Kraft & Very Vanilla; DP - Cosmo Cricket; Copics; Buttons; Twine; Cuttlebug stamp die; Martha Stewart Tag Punch; Ribbon - SU

Can somebody help with these lights??
My little Stella... she's havin' herself a hard time with those lights. Hey, who doesn't? That's the only part of decorating I dread, THE LIGHTS!!! Seriously!! And no matter how hard you try to keep them little buggers straight, they always end up a tangled mess. And I'm one of those people who has to have a bazillion lights too, so needless to say, I'm at my wits end when I'm finished. But hey, they sure are PURTEE when they're all lit up, right? I SO loveee the holidays!!!
So I stamped Tangled Stella from Stamping Bella onto some Papertrey Ink CS and colored her with my Copics. She's Christmas card #24. Now I've been thinking about this design for awhile and it turned out exactly as I'd hoped. The weird part of the design is the bottom mauve colored oval. I traced the outer edge of the Nestie that I used to cut the bottom cream colored oval with. I only wanted the top and bottom of this mauve oval to be visible so I cut straight across to the sides from about 1/2" down from the top of the oval. I stitched the DP onto the mauve CS leaving the top and bottom oval parts uncovered and a 1/16" mat on the sides. Using the next size smaller, I cut a scalloped oval from the mauve CS and then a straight oval from the Papertrey Ink CS, which is the one Stella's stamped on. After coloring her, I replaced the die and sponged some chalk ink around the edges and added some Crystal Effects to the light bulbs. I chose a coordinating piece of DP and matted it with the mauve CS and then stitched around the edges of it too. I tied on some cute plaid ribbon I picked up from Michael's last weekend and tied a button in the middle. Ok, I hope that all made sense. If you have any questions, just send me an email. Okee dokee? Be sure to leave me a comment and let me know what you think of her. I think she's the BEST!! Of course, you all know how partial I am to my Stella! Have a great day!
This week's theme for Bellarific Friday is "All Things Kids". Ooooh, I already have my idea... be sure to stop back by on Friday and see how it turns out. Wanna play along? Check out Em's blog for all the details and a chance to win some cool Bella Bucks!

Driving by with a Birthday hi!!
Hi there! Isn't this the cutest little stamp ever?? Another one of my Whipper Snapper favorites. Who couldn't love this little Ford truck with a chicken driving it no less!! Not to mention the dog hanging his head out the window!! What a hoot!! Check out their tongues, just like my little dog, she does the same thing. What is it about a dog hanging their head out the window?? It's like they've got the biggest grin ever and couldn't be any happier. Having that wind blowing their ears back and their nose just a sniffin'. Good grief!!
So anyhoo, this card is for my uncle's birthday. I know he's gonna love it and it's totally guy colors, right? Can't do any of those sissy girl colors for guys... Aren't they the toughest to make cards for? Ugghh!! I have to REALLY think for them. Me no like! Ok, so I stamped my Beverly Hillbilly clan onto some Classic Crest CS and colored them with my Copics. I cut the image out with an Exacto knife and adhered it with dimensionals onto this DP from Scrapbook Walls. The card base and DP mat are SU Chocolate Chip and I stitched around the edges of both with some chocolate colored thread. I finished with this cute polka dot ribbon from Jillibean Soup and added a button in the middle. Ok, be sure to leave me a comment and let me know what you think! Have a SUPER Tuesday!

It's Minty Wreath Monday!
Good Monday morning!! Ok, so the Pumpkin Festival was AWESOME but I decided to pass on the elephant ear and go for the Pumpkin Ice Cream in a waffle cone.... Ooooooooh it was incredible!!!! *sigh* Ok, don't tell me how many calories there are in one, I don't want to know. {he-he}
I'm still working away on my Christmas cards - this is #23 if anyone is keeping track. Almost half way there!!! Woo-hoo!! This is Minty Wreath from Stamping Bella. I must say, I had all these ideas in my head for this card's design but when I tried them, they ended up in the garbage.... This is like the third image I colored!! I wanted to use some Crystal Effects to look like candywrappers but it just didn't look right. Then I tried adding white to the candy but that didn't look right either, so this was the third try and I decided to leave it as is. I stamped the image directly onto this DP from Provo Craft and matted it with a coordinating paper from the same collection. I used my Martha Stewart border punch along the bottom edge of two of the layers and used some dimensionals in between for a little 3D effect. I finished by adding some antique brads and some SU taffeta ribbon. Pretty SUH-WEET huh? Get it, minty - sweet??? {he-he} Ok-ok, have a great day!!!

Just for you...
Hey, it's all a downhill slope now! No, not my physical appearance, I'm talking about the weekend. Today is Thursday and the weekend is almost here!! Yippee!! We're going to the Pumpkin Festival this weekend, so I'm totally psyched!! This is the BEST little festival ever, with tons of craft booths and uh, did I mention FOOD!!! Oh yeah baby, LOTS OF FOOD!! LIP SMACKIN' GOOD 'OL FESTIVAL FOOD!! YUM! And Halloween is just around the corner... Ooooooh, I can't wait for the little trick or treaters! Bwahahahaha!!! Oh-oh back to the card.....
This is another card I made with Anna's new set, "Her Favorite Things" from Whipper Snapper Designs. Such a cute set and I LOVE all the little accessories. This time I decided to use one of the phrases from the set "A little something just for you". Except I only inked up the "just for you" part. Clever huh? I wanted it to appear as if she were holding a sign. I stamped her onto some Papertrey Ink CS and colored her with my Copics. I cut her out with my oval Nesties and sponged a little chalk ink around the edges with the die in place. I stitched this DP from My Little Shoebox (love that little birdie!) onto some SU Riding Hood Red CS and then adhered it to the card base of SU Soft Suede. I finished with this great new ribbon I got from Stampin' Up tied in a sweet bow. There you have it! Another super duper cute card with this great little set of stamps. Yay!! Keep 'em comin' Anna! Be sure to leave a comment below and stop back by tomorrow for Bellarific Friday. Have a great day!

It's Eloise Greengrass!!
My daughter fell in LOVE with this card when she saw it.... ahhhh, she knows the way to her Mommy's heart! I always ask her to look over my work and give me her opinion. She has a really good eye for detail, so it always makes my day when she sees one and I get a "Oooooh, I REALLY LIKE THIS ONE!" *ahhhhh*
So, I've been wanting to use this DP from My Minds Eye for some time now. I think it's so soft and pretty. I stamped little Eloise Greengrass from Stamping Bella onto some Classic Crest CS and colored her using my Copics. I used a little chalk ink around the edges and then stitched each layer. The CS is from Martha Stewart and it matched this DP to a tee. I added some Glamour Dust to her flower and tied a bow with this pretty peach satin ribbon to finish. Ok, be sure to leave a comment below and I hope you all have a great day!

BOYS RULE!
Well, I don't know about THAT but it sounded good for this card! This is another card I made with Anna's new set "His Favorite Things" from Whipper Snapper Designs. I decided to use an airplane theme this time so I stamped him with his little "whirley bird" hat and had him hold the little model airplane. This paper is from Cosmo Cricket and is SO perfect for boy cards. I stamped my little guy onto some Classic Crest CS and colored him with my Copics. I used my Nesties to cut him out with and added some Crystal Effects to the airplane window. I finished by pairing some MS blue twill with this bright red grosgrain ribbon and added a button on top! Leave a comment below and let me know what you think, ok? Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

It's MINE!!
Here she is, MY STELLA!! Can't get enough of Stella! And this time it's a KRAFTY STELLA at that! She looks like me when someone tries to take my food! Nuh-uh!!!
I decided to try Stella on Kraft CS and use my Lyra pencils. Can't go wrong with pencils and Kraft, always a winnah!! I paired them with this bright DP from Sassafras Lass and it just POPS off that Kraft doesn't it? I wanted to add some interest to the image so I used some Crystal Effects on the cupcake cherry and some Stickles to her crown and wand. I matted the image and DP with some SU Basic Black and stitched around the edges using black thread. I added another piece of DP from this same collection behind the ribbon for some contrast. I used my SU scalloped border punch on both the top and bottom of the piece and tied this wide striped black and kraft ribbon on to finish and there you have it. Uh, no you don't!! It's MINE!! he-he!! Be sure to check out Em's blog this week and join us for Bellarific Friday. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a HAPPY day!!

Did someone say CROP??
Happy Friday!! What??? Just Friday??? I know, I know, where's my Bellarific Friday card, right? Well, Em's given us an extra week cuz she's SUPER bizzeeeee gettin' ready for da show! So, that gives da Babes and YOU an extra week to get those cards submitted!! Yay! The theme is "Nature or Flowers". You can hop on over to Em's blog, Bloggabella and get all the details. Uh-hummmm, but don't go just yet... {he-he}
Ok, so I'm gonna start your Friday off with a SMILE!! Like you don't have one already cuz' it's Friday, but hey these bright colors oughta put a big 'ol grin on your face. Lookee who I found as I was diggin' through my Bella collection the other day. CARDBACKABELLA!!! She just brings a smile to any rubber stamper's face, doesn't she? See all those tools in her scrapbook rolling cart? She's ready for a "make-n-take" and then some! I've been dying to use this Early Bird collection from Cosmo Cricket and I decided this was the card. I stamped "Cardbackabella" {love that name} onto some Papertrey Ink "Rustic Cream" cardstock and colored her with my Copics. I really like this cardstock, it has these little flecks in it and it gives it a leh' natur'elle sorta look. {eh' what can I say, I never took French!) I used my SU scalloped border punch to make the scalloped rectangle mats and then stitched the edges of each layer. I finished with some stitched grosgrain red ribbon and there you have it, a card any Rubber Stamping Queen would love to get, ME INCLUDED!!! Be sure to leave a comment below and let me know what you think of her. Have a great Friday, now that your SMILING!! Ok, you can hop over to Em's blog now! *grin*

*grin*

Jeanie needs a prezzie!
Did I say that?? Uhh-hmmm, I meant "Stella needs a prezzie"!! {he-he} That's the name of this stamp from Stamping Bella. Stella is my absolute favorite line at Stamping Bella. My hubby told me that she reminded him of the women from the 1940's-1950's. Ya know, I guess she does!! She's SO cute!! With those BIG 'ol red lips, I LOVEEEE her!
Ok, so I stamped her onto some Papertrey Ink CS and colored her with my Copics. I added some Stickles to her shoes (Dorothy's red slippers ain't got nothin' on my Stella!) and her crown and wand. This DP is from Stampin' Up. My bestest friend JoAnn gave me a few sheets cuz' she knows I LOVEEEE polka dots!! I tied on some SU red taffeta ribbon and there you have it! Maaaah-velous!! Leave a comment below and let me know what you think of her. Have a great day!

For sweet lil' wonderful YOU!
Good morning ya'll!! Here's my card using "Her Favorite Things" by Anna Wight from Whipper Snapper Designs. I just LOVE the colors in this card! This little girl was so much fun to color and I love all the little things you can accessorize her with! An interactive stamp set!! FUN-FUN-FUN!!
So I stamped my little girl onto some Classic Crest CS and colored her with my Copics. The mats and card base are both SU Chocolate Chip, another one of my "go to" favs. And isn't this DP beeee-uuuu-tiful?? It's from Bo Bunny, and oh how I wish I had bought more. *phoooeee* I stamped the sentiment onto the DP and stitched around the edges of all the layers. The little flower circles in the top right corner are actually part of this DP, I just punched them out with a small circle punch and added the brown brads in the center of each. I stamped the teddy bear on a separate piece of CS and cut him out with my exacto knife. I finished by adding some Stickles to her hair bow and tied some twill tape in a bow with a couple of buttons on top! Ain't she a cutie pie? Ok, be sure to leave me a comment below and let me know what you think of her. Have a great day!

Here's a little prezzie for you!!
Hi there!! Good Tuesday mornin'!! For those of you who had yesterday off, well I'm jealous!! I had to work! Hmmmph!!
Ok, so this is Christmas card #21.... For this card, I used Prezzibella from Stamping Bella and colored her with my Copics. I used my oval Nesties to cut her out and sponged a little chalk ink around the edges with the die in place. Of course every present needs some SPAH-KUL so I used some Stickles on the bow. Preeeeetty! This DP is from Basic Grey and I just LOVE the colors in it. I used the Fiskars Apron Lace border punch on the horizontal trim and finished with this green taffeta ribbon from Stampin' Up which matched this DP PERFECTLY!! Okee-dokee, that's it for me today! Be sure to leave a comment below and let me know what you think of her. Don't forget to hop over to Emily's blog, "Bloggabella" for the next Bellarific Friday theme! Have a great day!

Yee-haw! It's release day!!
GIDDY'UP! Today is the release of Anna's new sets, "Her Favorite Things" and "His Favorite Things" from Whipper Snapper Designs. I made my first card with the "His Favorite Things" set. I suppose having a girl, I long to make little boy cards sometimes, so I broke out this set first. {he-he}
I started by stamping the cowboy hat first and masked it, then I stamped the boy image over top. I used my Stamp-a-ma-jig to be sure I centered it just right on his little head. I sponged on some chalk ink and then stitched around the edges. I stamped the little horse separately and cut him out with an exacto knife.
I used my Copics to color all the pieces and tied some twine in a circle to look like a lasso. I added some Crystal Effects to the stamped sentiment so it would stand out and I paper pierced the edges. The card base and mat are both SU Soft Suede and the DP is from Crate Paper. Ok, that does it for me today! I hope you all have a wonderful Columbus Day! I have to work. *sigh* Be sure to visit Anna's blog "Sassy & Sweet Notes" and see what wonderful creations she's come up with using her new sets, as well as the other Whipper Snapper Featured Designers. They're all just AWESOME!!! Thanks for stopping by!

It's a Bella Baby Saturday!!
Good Saturday morning!! Woo-hoo, the weekend's here!! Yeah! And it's a Bellarific Saturday too!! Doesn't get any better than that! {he-he} Emily's theme for this week was "Baby". When I first saw the theme my first thought was, "Ooooooooh, do I even have anything baby?" Now, ya have to remember my little baby girl is 24, so it's been a loooooooonnnnnggggg time since I've needed "baby themed" anything. Alright, no wise cracks about the old bird's age!! So, I started digging through my Stamping Bella collection and found this "babynursabella" stamp. Puhfect!! My little baby girl is a NICU nurse, so I had bought this stamp for one of her Nurse's Day cards, but it works great for a baby themed card too! Taa-daa!! Isn't this little yellow duckie paper the best? I just wuv it!!
I started by stamping "babynursabella" from Stamping Bella onto some Classic Crest cardstock and colored her with my Copics. The little yellow duckie DP is from Frances Meyer and the checkered yellow paper is from Paper Pizazz. I punched the lace border onto a scrap piece of white cardstock and placed it in between both DP's. I stitched around the edges and tied on some pretty soft MS blue ribbon to finish. You likee?? Me too! Makes me feel all soft and cuddly! *sniff-sniff* I think I smell baby powder! LOL Ok, so if you've stopped here first, be sure to hop on over to Emily's blog, "Bloggabella" and see what da other Babes have created, as well as all da sistahs! It's the perfect place to visit to get those creative juices flowing, not to mention we've got the whole weekend left to stamp! Yippee!! Have a good one!

Bwahahahahaha!
Happy Friday everyone! No Bellarific Friday today, Emily gave everyone an extra day for their submissions to this week's theme "Baby", so be sure to check back tomorrow for Bellarific Saturday to see mine and all da Babe's over at Em's blog "Bloggabella".
Well, I couldn't just leave my BESTEST friends evah without a card today, so I went back through my photos and found this card from last Halloween. Don'tcha just love her? Oh my, she's one of my most favorite Halloween images! She's from, non other than, Art Impressions and I colored her with my Prismacolor pencils. Last year I didn't have Copics or Lyras, uggh! Sorry to say, but I have no idea what brand of cardstock was used here but I do know this DP is from K & Co, because I used it again in one of my Halloween cards for this year. Love this paper! The sentiment is computer generated and I punched it out with my Marvy Speech Balloon punch. I tied on some purple and sheer ribbons and added a few dew drops too! There you have it! She's a real purtee prima ballerina ain't she? Bwahahhahahaha!!! Don't forget to pop back in tomorrow for Bellarific Saturday and ya'll have a great day!

Christmas card #20
Yay, I remembered to count my Christmas cards!! This makes 20 towards my goal of 50! Oh my, that seems like forever away! Ok Jeanie, think positive!! That's almost half way there!!! Ok, that sounds much better...
This is another card I made with the "Spirit of Christmas" set by Anna Wight, from Whipper Snapper Designs. You've seen me stamp Santa on Very Vanilla, Canvas and here he is on my absolute FAV CS, Kraft!!! This is a fairly easy card, beginning with stamping the image onto the SU Kraft CS and then sponging a little ink around the edges. I colored the image with my Lyra pencils and adhered it with a few dimensionals to the card base of SU Soft Suede. I framed the image by adding these cute little filigree corners cut with a die from the Cuttlebug Vintage Corners set. I stamped the sentiment (included with the Spirit of Christmas set) on the bottom of the card base and finished with some twine and a button! That's it for me today. Be sure to leave a comment below, I'd love to hear what you think of him. Have a great day!

I can't believe what happened....
This is my submission to the Taylored Expressions Sketch Challenge #85. This little image is "No Fair girl" from Stamping Bella. She comes with several sentiments and I just couldn't wait to ink her up! I just LOVEEEE anything SASSY! Did I mention SASSY's my middle name? LOL Well, my hubby tells me it is anyway!
I stamped her onto some SU Very Vanilla CS and colored her with my Copics. I stamped the sentiment onto a scrap piece of CS and punched it out with my oval punch and matted it with some SU Soft Suede punched with the scalloped oval punch and added a few dimensionals in between. This DP is from Cosmo Cricket's Earth Love collection. I really like this paper pad. Nice neutral EARTH colors, hmmm..... guess that's why they called it Earth Love. I matted the DP with Soft Suede and stitched around the edges. Note to self: order another pack of this Soft Suede CS before they stop carrying it!! Yikes! The card base is Very Vanilla and I finished with some polka dot ribbon and a button in the middle. I think she's SUPAH cute! Leave a comment below and let me know what you think too and be sure to head over to Emily's blog "Bloggabella" and read all the DET's on this week's challenge of, "ANYTHING BABY". I can't wait to see what da BABE's come up with, as well as the SISTAHOOD! Wanna play too? You have until Friday to enter so come on, give it a try! Have a great day!

Psst! wanna know the secret to looking younger?
BE BORN LATER!!
Isn't this dog a hoot? Love him!! His name is Suspicious Pup from Doggone Stamps. I stamped the brick wall with a brick stamp that I found in a dollar bin at Michael's. It surprised me, for a little $1 stamp, I wasn't expecting it to turn out this well. I stamped the images onto some SU Very Vanilla CS and colored them with my Copics. I stitched around the edges with black thread and matted with alternating layers of SU Basic Black and Very Vanilla. The DP is from Sassafras Lass Monstrosity collection and I finished with some gingham ribbon and a button. I just LOVE how it turned out. Ok, that does it for me today, leave a comment below and let me know what you think of him, ok? Have a GREAT day!

B-double E double R U-N, beer run
How many of you have ever heard this song? I hear it every now and then on my way to work and it always cracks me up! It goes something like this:
B-double E double R U-N beer run
B-double E double R U-N beer ru-unn
All we need is a ten and five-er,
car and key and a sober driver
B-double E double R U-N beer run
Now of course, ya' gotta sing it with a real southern drawl. Ha-ha-ha-ha!!
Ok, so as soon as I saw this alphabet paper from Sassafras Lass, Monstrosity collection, this song popped into my head and I knew I wanted to use Beerafella from Stamping Bella with it. This card is for my brother in law, Randy and believe it or not, Beerafella looks just like him! I don't think he visits my blog so hopefully this post won't spoil his birthday card. If you're reading this Randy, well Happy Birthday a little early. *sigh*
For my submission to the WSC100, I stamped Beerafella onto some SU Very Vanilla CS and colored him with my Copics. I stitched around the edges and shaded them with some chalk ink. I matted the image with some SU Basic Black CS and popped it off the DP with some dimensionals. I punched a slot and threaded the grosgrain ribbon through and added some Diamond Dust to the ice box to finish it off! Cool huh?
Ok, be sure to leave a comment below and let me know what you think. Thanks for stopping by!

Yay! It's Bellarific Friday!
Happy Bellarific Friday everyone! Yippee Skippee, the weekend is almost here! Whoa, did you realize it's October already??? Where'd September go? Well, October = Halloween and Fall weather, right? Yup, and that's the theme for this week's Bellarific Friday challenge.
Now, I've mentioned, {oh, about a dozen times huh?} how much I LOVEEEE Stella and this image is no different. Look at her behind her little punkin' all scared. {he-he} She's just so cute I could squeeze her! Hey, and how 'bout 'dat DP? Is it great or what? It's from My Minds Eye "Boo to You!" collection. I stamped Spoooooky Stella from Stamping Bella {hey, that rhymes!} onto some SU Very Vanilla and colored her with my Copics. The card base is SU Basic Black and each layer is matted with the same. I stitched around the edges of each layer with black thread. I've never used black thread before and I was a little nervous about how it would look and I just love it! I added some Glamour Dust to her crown and wand and finished with this great ribbon from Stamp Simply. Great site for ribbon! Ok, that does it for me today, but be sure to hop on over to Emily's blog and check out all the other sistahs! Have a great day and a FABBY weekend!

Just a little note...
Hi there! Ya know, I still haven't counted those Christmas cards yet... maybe I'll get to that this weekend, so I'll know where I am. Well, one thing is for sure, I haven't done 50, which is how many I need. Yikes!! I think I can, I think I can, I think {well, maybe I can}
Ok, so didn't this turn out cute? I've had this layout in mind for awhile now and then I saw the Taylored Expressions Sketch Challenge for this week and thought it might work for it as well. Here's Taylor's sketch..
This image is from Elzybells and I stamped her onto some Papertrey Ink CS and colored her with my Copics. I cut her out with my circle Nesties and sponged a little chalk ink around the edges. This DP is from Cosmo Cricket and I matted it with some SU Real Red CS that I punched along the edges with the SU scalloped border punch. I added some Liquid Applique to her coat and some Diamond Dust to the snow. I finished the card with this great new ribbon from Stampin' Up, love this stuff! Ok, that does it for me today. Hope you all have a great day and thanks for stopping by!
