Feel better cuppie...
Ahhhh, isn't cuppie suh-weet??? I just LOVE this "Doctor's Orders" set from Taylored Expressions. I also wanted to incorporate this week's TESC106 into my card for today as well. I think it turned out SO stinkin' cute! Of course, the colors are just so yummy. Who doesn't LOVE orange?? *sigh*
Ok, so I started with this super cute DP from Cosmo Cricket's Joy Ride collection, matted with SU Basic Black and then stitched to the card base of Prism Candle Glow Dark CS from Taylored Expressions. I punched out a few circles and adhered these cute buttons from the same collection to the center and tied some black embroidery floss through each. To finish, I tied this YUMMY purple ribbon into a cute bubbly bow. There you have, my submission to this week's TESC106! Woo-hoo! Have you got yours done yet?? Can't wait to see what you come up with!! Be sure to leave a cluck below and let me know what you think. Have a GREAT Wednesday! {{{hen hugs}}}

Marriage means commitment...
...then again, so does INSANITY!! Bwah-ha-ha-ha!! OMG!! Is this a riot or what? Another great image from Bugaboo Stamps. I told ya, I'm in LUV with Gus and Stella. They remind me of my own marriage. Did I say that??? Shhhhhh!! LOL!!
Ok, so I started by printing my image onto some SU Very Vanilla CS. I printed the sentiment (which comes as a separate file - LOVE THAT!) just below them. I colored them with my Copics and cut them out with my Nesties. I sponged a little chalk ink around the edges and matted them with another circle of PTI Dark Chocolate CS. The card base is PTI Dark Chocolate as well and I stitched on this super cute DP from My Minds Eye Quite Contrary collection. The vertical border is punched with my new EK Success border punch and I tied the pretty aqua ribbon into a cute bubbly bow! Oh, almost forgot, I HAD to add the Glossy Accents to their glasses for a little 4 eyes effect!! LOL!!! Be sure to leave a cluck below and let me know what you think, k? Don't forget to hop on over to Bugaboo Stamps and download the FREE images for this week (Umbrella Turtle and Balloon Elephant) and maybe even use one to play along with this week's Catch the Bug challenge, using the colors kiwi, coral and banana! You could win even more FREE images! Woo-hoo! Can't wait to see what you come up with! Have a SUPER DUPER Tuesday! {{{hen hugs}}}

Good morning Penelope!
Hi ya'll!! Hope you had a good weekend. I stayed in my stamping room pretty much ALL weekend. Woo-hoo! This is Penelope from Stamping Bella. Isn't she cute? I just love her curly hair! I stamped her onto some Classic Crest Solar White CS and colored her with my Copics. This yummy Basic Grey DP is from my fellow Bella Babe Paula! She sent me a little goody package full of odds and ends. Did I mention how much I LOVEEEEE packages? Mwah to Paulabella!
The card base is SU Chocolate Chip and I used my EK Success scalloped border punch on both the Chocolate Chip CS and the DP. I then tied on this SU Chocolate Chip ribbon and tied a button in the center. I found these itty bitty brads at Michael's a couple of weeks ago and thought they were so cute! I placed three of them in the top right corner and then stamped the sentiment from the "Just my type" set, also from Stamping Bella, and punched it out with my Martha Stewart tag punch! Ok, there ya go! Hopefully, Penelope brought a smile to your face, even though IT IS MONDAY! LOL!! Leave a cluck below and let me know what you think of her. Ya know, I always LOVE hearing what da hens have to say! Hope you have a great day! {{{hen hugs}}}

Arf Arf!! It's Bellarific Friday!
Woo-hoo! TGIBF!! So whatchu hens got planned for this weekend? I don't have a thing planned.... thank goodness!! This is gonna be one of those "do nuttin'" weekends for me! I'm GOOD with that!
Well, it's Friday and you know what that means.... yup, it's Bellarific Friday at Bloggabella. Today's Bellarific Friday theme was a sketch from our own Joanneabella.
I decided to flip the sketch and do a horizontal fold card instead. Ain't I clever? I've been dying to ink up this image for the longest time now and this layout was perfect. This is "woofin it up" from Stamping Bella. Aren't they cute? My little Emily is the one all the way on the left. LOL!! I decided on this DP from Cosmo Cricket's Nutmeg collection because I loved all the earthy tones in it and knew it would look good with my furbabies. I matted the DP with some PTI Dark Chocolate CS and stitched around the edges. I stamped my image onto some SU Very Vanilla and colored with my Copics. I cut and embossed the image with my oval Nesties and tied this Orange Zest ribbon into a cute bubbly bow to finish. Be sure to leave a cluck below and let me know what you think of them, okay?

Center of Attention Product Spotlight - Metal Squares
Shooo-weee!! We got's lots going on in the hen house today!! Well, it's Thursday, so da hens know what that means.... it's That's Krafty Thursday #19! But not only is today's card my TKT post, it's also part of the Taylored Expressions' Center of Attention Product Spotlight AND the Taylored Expressions Sketch Challenge #105 too! This is ONE BUSY card, huh?
This month's product spotlight is Metal Squares. These squares are packaged as aluminum, copper or you can get a combo pack with both. The Taylored Expressions store is also offering the squares today through March 28th at a 15% discountl! Yay!! What hen doesn't love a sale? Hmmm?
I decided to emboss the copper square and incorporate it as part of the TESC layout.
I just LOVE how this turned out too! The metal squares were a cinch to emboss! I placed the square in my Cuttlebug "bubbles" embossing folder and ran it through my Cuttlebug. Yoila! Perfect! I was wondering if the embossing would be delicate to handle, but I had no problems at all. The weight of this metal is surprisingly heavy which I believe is why it made such a clean impression. Oh, and cutting the metal was just as easy! My rotary paper trimmer buzzed right through it like buttah! Cool beans huh? Get it? Beans, coffee??? Yeah, I'm weird, what can I say!! Ok, I knew I wanted to use this little coffee cup and steam from the "Sprinkled with Love" set, so I stamped them both onto some SU Very Vanilla. I stamped the cup image twice because I wanted to cut the second image out and pop it up for a cool 3D effect.
I colored the images with my Copics, stitched it onto some brown CS and sponged a little chalk ink around the edges. I popped the second coffee cup up with a few dimensionals and even added some vanilla coffee scent too! Mmmm-mmmmm!! Yum!! This DP is from Cosmo Cricket's Lil' Man collection and I matted it with the brown CS and then stitched it to the Kraft card base. To finish, I added this little band of brown CS and a copper brad on top! Now That's Krafty!! I just LOVE the look of the copper with the oranges and browns, don't you?
Okee dokee, that's it for me today.... don't forget to leave a cluck below and let me know what you think, k? Oh and be sure to fly on over to the rest of the Baker's Dozen team participating in this challenge and see what FABULOUS creations they've come up with. Have a GREAT day! {{{hen hugs}}}

Get Well Soon Karen!
This little card is for my BFF Karen... She's home all this week recuperating from gall bladder surgery! Poor thing, I'm hopin' she's feelin' better soon, cuz I'm missin' her, not to mention my Subway Thursday! Eeeeek!! LOL!! She told me she's gonna check my blog everyday while she's home. Now is that a best friend or what?? *sigh*
I stamped little "Fluey Huggabugg" from Stamping Bella onto some SU Very Vanilla CS and colored her with my Copics. I added some Glamour Dust to her wings and cut her out with my Nesties. This DP is from Cosmo Cricket's Little Man collection and I stitched both patterns to some SU Real Red CS. I decided to make a scalloped frame and pop it up around the image, so I cut the circle from the red CS first and then cut the scalloped circle after. To finish, I tied this pretty polka dot ribbon from SU into a cute bubbly bow and hand wrote the sentiment onto a cute mini tag. Okee dokee, be sure to leave a cluck below and let me know what ya think, k? Don't forget this week's Bellarific Friday theme is a sketch challenge from our own Joanneabella. I LOVE being married....
...LOL!! My hubby would SO agree with this sentiment!! We LOVE to annoy each other! *snort* Actually, this is a card for my Mom to give to my Dad. Hey, what are daughters for? ROFL!!
This is "one person to annoy" from Bugaboo Stamps! I am SO lovin' Gus and Stella!! What a riot they are. I printed my digital image onto some SU Very Vanilla CS and colored them with my Copics. I stitched the image onto some SU Real Red CS and sponged a little chalk ink around the edges. This DP is from Cosmo Cricket's Early Bird collection and I stitched it onto the mat of SU Real Red as well. I matted the sentiment with the same red CS punched with my SU curly label punch. I added the 3 red brads at the bottom and used some Glossy Accents for their glasses. I even added some bright blue eyeshadow with my Gelly Roll glitter blue pen! Oh my, I wish you could see this in real life. I don't know if my camera can do this card justice. It's just so STINKIN' CUTE!! Ok, that's it for me today... have you left your cluck yet?? NO?? What's keepin' ya??? I'd love to hear what da hens think of my lil' card. Have a SUPER DUPER Tuesday! {{{hen hugs}}}

Sweet Baby Maya
Hi there! Hope all da hens had a Tee-riffic weekend! I did excellent at my garage sale. I made $230 buckaroonies!! Which equates to MORE STAMPS!! Woo-hoo!! I had a great time with da family hens too! Lotsa cacklin'.... awwwwk!!
Ok, so onto my wee-little card today. This is "have a seat Maya" from Stamping Bella. Isn't she a sweetie? I chose this great DP from October Afternoon called Ducks in a Row and I stitched it onto some SU Natural White CS. This is the first time I've used this Natural White and I REALLY like it. Not so white and I like the flecks in it as well. I actually stamped my image onto the same CS and colored her with my Copics. I matted her with some SU Soft Suede and then stitched around the edges. The little duck border is actually one of the sheets in the collection and I just cut out one of the strips and stitched it to the SU Natural White CS and punched the bottom edge with my SU scalloped border punch. To frame behind the image, I cut a circle out of a coordinating sheet of DP from the collection and stitched it to a scalloped circle from the SU Natural White CS. To finish, I added a little Glamour Dust to the flower in her hair and tied this soft yellow ribbon into a cute bubbly bow. I really LOVE these baby soft colors! *sniff-sniff* Can't ya just smell the baby powder? Ok, that does it for today's card. You likeeee?? If so, lemme know, k? Just click on the little link below and leave me a cluck or two! I'd LOVE to hear from you! {{{hen hugs}}}

We need some CHICK TIME!
How perfect is this sentiment for the "hen house"? CHICK TIME is all we have around the coop! LOL!! In fact today, we're having a garage sale and all my family is coming over to participate. Ah say, hens dat is... We don't keep the roosters around. We send them off to do whatever it is they do, cuz us hens gots lotsa cackling to do, lemme tell ya! ROFL!!
This is one of the many images included in the Favorite Peeps set from Taylored Expressions. This is such a cute set for Easter and Spring, but I thought I'd show you another way to use this set. How about a card for your BFF, sister or even mother... let's say to just get together for a day of shopping or maybe a movie. Us hens NEED chick time together!! SERIOUSLY!! We gotta talk to other hens cuz those roosters just don't get where we're coming from, right? HELLLLOOOO!
So I started by stamping my image onto some SU Kraft CS and colored her with my Copics. I stamped the sentiment, also from the set, around the image and cut it out with my circle Nestie. I matted the image with some SU Basic Black and again with the SU Kraft cut with my scalloped circle Nestie. This DP is from Scrapbook Walls and I picked it up as an individual sheet many moons ago. I matted each with the SU Basic Black CS and stitched around the edges. I punched squares from the DP as well and matted each with the black CS and then with the SU Kraft cut with my scalloped square Nesties. I added a black brad to the center of each square and tied on this great black saddle stiched ribbon to finish. Hey, I know I'd LOVE to get this card in the mail from one of my BFF hens inviting me out for a day trip, wouldn't you?? CHARGE IT!! LOL!! Okee dokee, be sure to leave a cluck below and let me know whatcha think, okay? Have a wonderful weekend! {{{hen hugs}}}

Happy Birthday Lily!
It's Bellarific Friday and Lily's birthday too! Woo-hoo!! Now, you're probably wondering who's Lily, huh? Well, Lily is my daughter's little Maltipoo and today is her second birthday. She's SO sweet... We call her Silly Lily! LOL!! My little baby is a Yorkie, and her name is Emily. Today's card is a birthday card from Emily to Lily. Hehe!! I just LOVE how this one turned out too! It looks just like the two of them. Lily is full of it and Emily is so laid back and like "WHATEVER!" Lily wants to play and Emily wants to lay! LOL!! Emily is 13 years old, so you can imagine she thinks very little of PLAY time. Seriously, I think Emily must sleep 22 hours a day! What a life!!
So today's Bellarific Friday theme was monochromatic. I chose brown for my color and just used varying shades. I started by stamping both Muffy and Chichi from Stamping Bella onto some SU Kraft CS and colored them with my Copics. I applied some Liquid Applique to Chichi (Lily) and used my heat gun to puff it up. I cut the images out using my circle Nestie, sponged some chalk ink around the edges and matted it with some brown CS from my stash. I used this checkered kraft and brown DP from Provo craft and matted it with the same brown CS. I embossed a square of SU Kraft CS with my "distressed stripes" embossing folder and stitched it to the brown CS as well. I stamped the sentiment onto some Kraft CS and cut it into individual pieces and adhered it under the matted image. I tied this cute polka dot ribbon into a cute bubbly bow and there you have one "paws"a-tively AWESOME birthday card!! *snort* Ok, be sure to leave a cluck below and let me know what you think, k? Don't forget to check out all the eye candy over at Bloggabella and see what da Bella Babes and sistahood came up with.
Next week's Bellarific Friday theme is a sketch by our own Joanneabella. I SO LOVEEEEE sketches!! Come on and play along with all the sistahs, k? Visit Bloggabella for all the details. Have a wonderful Friday!

When the moon hits your face...
..like a BIG piece'a cake, that's amore!! LOL!! Had ya goin' there, didn't I?? Remember that ol' Dean Martin song? I love those old songs. My parents had this outside speaker on the back patio of our home and when Daddy would grill outside on Saturdays, they would always play Dean Martin on the Hi-Fi stereo!! Remember Hi-Fi's?? Forget iPods, these things were a piece of furniture!! Oh, how I LOVED those days!!
Happy That's Krafty Thursday #18! Woo-hoo!!
Ok, so onto my card for today. I just love this little Cheffa Huggabug from Stamping Bella. He's too cute!! I stamped little Cheffa onto some SU Very Vanilla CS and colored him with my Copics. I cut him out with my circle Nesties and sponged a little chalk ink around the edges with the die in place. I matted him with a scalloped circle cut from some SU Basic Black and placed a few dimensionals between the two layers. This is a new paper pack I picked up at Michael's just last week and I love the colors in it. It's by DCWV and it's called, "Hittin' the Books!". Yeah, I know, I've got WAY too much paper!! I'm SO addicted! So, I matted the DP with some SU Basic Black CS and stitched around the edges. The border across the bottom is actually one of the coordinating DP's in the collection and I cut out the little triangles on the bottom edge and popped it up with a few dimensionals. To finish, I tied this yummy orange saddle stitched ribbon into a cute bubbly bow. Now That's Krafty!!
Be sure to leave a cluck below and let me know whatcha think, k? Don't forget, tomorrow is Bellarific Friday and the theme is monochromatic!! You've still got time to play along.... head on over to Bloggabella for all the details. Have a terrific Thursday!! {{{hen hugs}}}

Ok, so I made this card for a co-worker of mine. Hehe!! I started by stamping my image from Art Impressions onto some SU Very Vanilla CS and colored him with my Copics. I stitched him onto some SU Basic Black CS and then adhered him to this spah-kling DP from My Minds Eye! I stitched the DP to the cardbase and I printed the sentiment off on my computer, punched it out with my circle punch and matted it with some SU Basic Black CS too! Pretty simple card, but I LOVE how it turned out. Hey, wait a minute, I think he's done gone and ate all my donuts, look at that stomach!! LOL!! Be sure to leave a cluck below and let me know what you think. Have a great Wednesday!! {{{hen hugs}}}

I just LOVEEEEE Stella!! She's SO me!! Lil' sassy pants she is. She makes me laugh with her lil' hand on her hip! Hmmmph! LOL!! This is none other than, "Suck it Up Stella!" from Stamping Bella.
I started by stamping my image onto some SU Very Vanilla CS, colored her with my Copics and even added some glaze to her cute red shoes. I cut her out with my deckle Nesties and sponged some chalk ink around the edges. I matted her with some SU Real Red CS and adhered her to this great DP from Cosmo Cricket, called Material Girl. Oh wow, do I ever love this paper!! Just yummy patterns and colors!! I matted the DP with the same SU Real Red CS and stitched it to the card base of Prism Island Mist. To finish, I stamped the sentiment and cut it out with my SU Word Window punch and tied this pretty red grosgrain ribbon into a cute bubbly bow! Ok, that does it for me today. Be sure to leave a cluck below and let me know what you think of her. I just LOVE hearing the clucks from all the little hens in the coop!! Have a SUPER DUPER Tuesday!! {{{hen hugs}}}

Some things never grow OLD...
... YOU however DO!! LOL!!
OMG, you all know I love a funny card... This one is no exception. Can't you just hear this lady tellin' the other one that? Look at the expression on her face. PRICELESS!! This terrific image is from Art Impressions. One of my favs!!
I started by stamping my image onto some SU Very Vanilla CS and colored it with my Copics. I cut the image out with my oval Nesties and sponged a little chalk ink around the edges with the die in place. The card base is SU Chocolate Chip and I paired it with this great polka dot DP from K&Company. I used my new EK Success scalloped border punch along the bottom edge and stitched it on to the SU Very Vanilla mat. To finish, I tied on this yummy grosgrain ribbon from Papertrey Ink and added the printed sentiment.
Are ya laughing??? Thought so!! hehe!! Doesn't pay to get old around me, cuz you're bound to get teased a bit!! LOL!! Ok, be sure to leave a cluck below and let me know what you think of my cacklin' hens. Have a great Monday!! {{{hen hugs}}}

It's release day at Stamping Bella!
Happy Friday lil' hens!! It's finally here, Stamping Bella's release day!! Yay!! Wow, there are some awesome images in this release, seriously!! Just take a gander at my card today... This is "Izzie is a bunny" from Stamping Bella. Swoooooon..... Who doesn't love Izzie?? And now she's holdin' her little Easter egg. Wuv her!!!
So I started by stamping Izzie onto some SU Very Vanilla CS and colored her with my Copics. I stamped the egg twice so I could cut it out and pop it off the image itself for a cool 3D look. I cut her out with my oval Nesties and sponged a little chalk ink around the edges. This DP is from Fancy Pants' Little Sprout collection. I suppose it was designed as a baby collection but I thought it had such pretty pastels in it that it went perfect with my Easter card too! I stitched the DP onto the cardbase of SU Natural Ivory and tied on this pretty pink ribbon from Papertrey Ink. To finish, I punched a little tag from the SU Very Vanilla CS and wrote Happy Easter with a fine tip black pen. Now where's that Easter bunny, I'm hungry for some candy??? LOL!! Be sure to leave a cluck below and let me know what you think of her. Now it's time to hop on over to Bloggabella and see what AWESOME eye candy da Babes and sistahood have created. Wanna play along next week? The Bellarific Friday theme next week is monochromatic! Use any color ya want, but only shades of that color! Ooooh, that ought to be fun, huh? Have a great Friday and a wonderful weekend!! {{{hen hugs}}}

That's Krafty Thursday! #17
Wooo-hoooo! They're baaaaaaackkkk!! Happy That's Krafty Thursday!! I so missed my TKT posts. What would I do without my Kraft CS??? OOOoooooh, I shudder to think!! So, whatcha think of my little card today? This is Gus, ain't he a hoot??? I fell in LOVE with him as soon as I laid eyes on him!! He's one of the MANY hilarious images from Bugaboo Stamps. Ya gotta check 'em out!! If ya like funny (like I do), you don't wanna miss these.
I started by printing Gus onto some SU Very Vanilla CS and colored him with my Copics. I even added a little shine to his glasses with my glaze pen. OMG, I bust up laughin' everytime I look at that face! Seriously, he just cracks me up! Did ya notice his knees? LOL!! I think we've got a couple guys around here that look pretty similar! *snort* Ok, so I matted the image with some SU Really Rust and stitched around the edges. Oh, and this is another great thing about Bugaboo Stamps, they're DIGITAL!! And not only do you get the image but you get a sentiment too! The sentiment comes as a separate file so you can use it wherever you want. LOVE that!! I paired Gus with this great DP from Cosmo Cricket's Joy Ride collection. The colors in this new collection are such fun!! I matted the DP with some SU Really Rust and stitched it onto the SU Kraft card base. I added a few buttons tied with twine and popped the sentiment up with a few dimensionals. Now That's Krafty!! Okee dokee, that's all from the hen house today!! Leave a cluck below and let me know whatcha think of him!! Be sure to stop back by tomorrow for Stamping Bella's BIG release day! Oooh, you're gonna love all the new images!! Stamping Bella Sneak Peek - Day 2
What???? Two flower cards back to back?? Yup, here's another image being released this Friday from Stamping Bella. This is a fuschia... Could'a fooled me!! Again, I had to Google it. Although, the name gave me a hint about the color, I still wanted to see it anyway just to be sure. LOL!!
I stamped the image onto some SU Very Vanilla and colored it with my Copics. I used my Nestie Label die and cut out the image and then sponged some chalk ink around the edges. This pretty DP is from Anna Griffin. I picked it up ages ago so I'm not sure if you can still get it or not. I thought it was so elegant looking and seem to fit perfectly with my image. I matted the top DP with a coordinating piece from the same collection and the botton layer is matted with some DCWV burgundy. I stitched around the edges of both and tied this pretty satin cream ribbon in a soft bow above the image panel to finish. Okee dokee, that completes my card for today!! I hope you liked my sneak peeks for this Friday's release. Wait 'til you see my Bellarific Friday card. Ooooooh, you're gonna love it!! Do you have yours ready?? There's still time ya know. Happy Spring!
Happy Monday ya'll!! Where'd the weekend go? Shoo-wee, these months are just flyin' by! Here we are, just a little less than two weeks before Spring is here! And with Spring in mind... onto today's card!!
I was just so eager to keep playin' with my new Favorite Peeps set from Taylored Expressions. This set is LOADED with the cutest little spring time images. I had been dreamin' this design up for awhile now and finally put it together. I thought it would be cute to have all the images around the words HAPPY spring! So I printed the word HAPPY in the true type font "Boulder" and printed it as outline only, so I could color it in. I printed the word SPRING in the font "CAC Future Casual". I colored the printed HAPPY with my Copics and added some grass below. I stamped the images onto Choice Snow White CS and colored them with my Copics. I cut each of them out with my Exacto knife and added them to my scene. I sponged a little chalk ink around the edges and stitched the panel onto some lavendar CS. The CS and DP are from the Easter Key Ingredients kit available from Taylored Expressions, as well. There are so many goodies in this kit, you won't believe it. It definitely will keep you busy making Easter and Springtime cards for awhile. I used my new EK Success border punch along the bottom of the DP and white CS and tied this pretty satin pink ribbon on to finish! Okee dokee, that does it for me today. Leave a cluck below and let me know whatcha think of my little Spring scene, k? Hope you all have a GREAT Monday! {{{hen hugs}}}

Today is release day!!
Yup!! This is it! The DAY we've all been awaitin' for!! It's release day at Taylored Expressions!! Now hold on a minute.... I know y'all just dying to fly on over to TE store and get your goodies but I wanna show ya muh card first, k? Oh and not only is today release day, but it's also the one year anniversary of the Whimsical Wishes line. To celebrate, anyone who places an order through Monday, March 8th at the TE Store, will receive the FREE Whimsical Wishes Image Sheet - Whimsical Wishes Throughout the Year that includes 4 never-before-seen seasonal images and 4 coordinating sentiments, so how great is that? I chose the Bounty of Autumn image for my card today and used the TE Sketch Challenge 102 as well. Ahhh, I love Fall!!
Ok, so I started by printing my image onto some Choice Buttercream CS and colored with my Copics. I matted the image with some Prisma Classic Red CS and stitched around the edges. This cute DP is from Cosmo Cricket's Garden Variety collection and I stitched it onto the Classic Red CS and punched the bottom edge with my MS border punch. I adhered the matted DP to the cardbase of Prisma Medium Tawny and added the sentiment on top. To finish, I wanted to continue with my "country look" so I decided on a simple ribbon of natural twill tied in a cute bubbly bow! I just LOVE how it turned out! Be sure to leave a cluck below and let me know what you think too, ok? I LOVEEEE getting clucks from the hens!! Ok, time to fly the coop and head on over to the Taylored Expressions store to LOAD up on some goodies! I hope my sneak peeks have inspired you just a little, ok a lot! LOL!! It's Bellarific Friday!! OMG, do you not just LOVE this card?? This little gal feels just like the Chicken does today, SO SUPER DUPER excited it's Friday!! This week's Bellarific Friday theme is "polka dots"! I SO LOVEEEE polka dots!! I needed a quick card for my BFF Karen's daughter who just made the "Dean's List" at her college! SHUT UP!! How smart is she? Um, too smart for this little chicken, that's fer sure! Dang! I keep hopin' some of Karen's smartness will rub off on me, but no such luck! Hmmmph!
Ok, so for this fabby card I decided to use "Fabby" from Stamping Bella. Now how fabby is that?
I stamped her onto some SU Very Vanilla CS and colored her with my Copics. I cut her out with my deckled Nesties and sponged a little chalk ink around the edges. I matted her with some SU Basic Black CS and then adhered her to this cute DP from Lasting Impressions. I have a TON of polka dot DP from them. Um, did I mention I LOVE polka dots??? I suppose since TKT was postponed until next week, I was craving my Kraft color, so I grabbed this DP called "Rusty Wheelbarrow" (sounds like me!) and stitched it to the SU Basic Black cardbase. I wanted to use my new Nestie border die and created this cute scalloped edge between the two DP's. I added these matching buttons on top and finished with this great gingham ribbon tied into a cute bubbly bow! Oh, and I slipped a little gift card inside too. I think it's so stinkin' cute!! Congratulations Amanda! (Smarty pants! Hmmph!) Be sure to leave a cluck below and let me know what you think of her, k? Next week's Bellarific Friday theme is a FREESTYLE! Yay! Sneak Peeks Day 2!
Woo-hoo!! It's Thursday!! The hens all know how much I LOVEEEE Thursdays, and today is no exception cuz' I get to showcase another day of sneak peeks for ya!! You hens are SO lucky!! Not only do I have a sneak peek for ya, but I've got TWO!! Thud!!!! Ok, now get back on your chair and take a gander at these AWESOME sets being released tomorrow at Taylored Expressions.
First up is from the Lasting Impression's collection called, "Easter Blessings"... isn't this gorgeous?? I LOVE this set!! I've always wanted a religious Easter set, so this was a real treat for me. I know I'll be using it for other occasions as well. I decided to pair it with some DP from the Cosmo Cricket Everafter Collection. This collection has some very elegant patterns in it and I think it went perfectly with this set. I stamped the image in StazOn Stone Gray ink, stitched around all the edges and popped up all the layers for a great dimensional effect. I hadn't used my new SU border punch in a square until now and I love the look. This stamp set also includes many wonderful sentiments and it was hard for me to choose which one to use. I finally decided on "Easter Blessings" and finished with this pretty satin ribbon.
Next up is a new set from the Whimsical Wishes collection, called "Favorite Peeps". This is SUCH a cute collection of images. The basket and chicks are actually two separate images in the set. I decided to layer them in one image by masking the chicks and then stamping the basket behind them. Hey, it's Chicken in a Basket!! Awkkkk! Did I just say that?? Umm, how 'bout chicken with a basket? Yup, that does sound much better! I colored my little chicks and basket of eggs with my Copics and cut them out with my Nesties. I sponged a little chalk ink around the edges and then matted the image with some lavender and burgundy CS, both from the Easter Key Ingredients kit. Also from the kit, is this springy DP from Basic Grey's Kioshi collection. I layered a piece of vellum over the DP to soften it a bit and added some mini buttons to the corners. I stitched around the edges and finished with this pretty ribbon tied in a cute bubbly bow! Be sure to leave a cluck below and let me know what you think of my sneak peeks. Don't forget to stop back by the hen house tomorrow for release day, I've got one more BONUS to show you!! Yay!! In the mean time, hop on over to the rest of the Baker's Dozen team and see what they've created with these great sets!! You're in for a treat!! TKT will be back next week at it's regularly scheduled time! LOL!! {{{hen hugs}}}

Next up is a new set from the Whimsical Wishes collection, called "Favorite Peeps". This is SUCH a cute collection of images. The basket and chicks are actually two separate images in the set. I decided to layer them in one image by masking the chicks and then stamping the basket behind them. Hey, it's Chicken in a Basket!! Awkkkk! Did I just say that?? Umm, how 'bout chicken with a basket? Yup, that does sound much better! I colored my little chicks and basket of eggs with my Copics and cut them out with my Nesties. I sponged a little chalk ink around the edges and then matted the image with some lavender and burgundy CS, both from the Easter Key Ingredients kit. Also from the kit, is this springy DP from Basic Grey's Kioshi collection. I layered a piece of vellum over the DP to soften it a bit and added some mini buttons to the corners. I stitched around the edges and finished with this pretty ribbon tied in a cute bubbly bow! Be sure to leave a cluck below and let me know what you think of my sneak peeks. Don't forget to stop back by the hen house tomorrow for release day, I've got one more BONUS to show you!! Yay!! In the mean time, hop on over to the rest of the Baker's Dozen team and see what they've created with these great sets!! You're in for a treat!! TKT will be back next week at it's regularly scheduled time! LOL!! {{{hen hugs}}}

You're my hero!!
Hi there! Happy Wednesday to ya! Guess what? Ok, you'll never guess so I'm just gonna blurt it out... LOL!! I'm officially a Baker's Dozen DT member!! Pinch me please!! Can you believe it?? Taylor asked me to stay on after my Guest Designer roll ended February 28th. Woo-hoo!!
Ok, so today and tomorrow, I'll be featuring a few sneak peeks of the upcoming sets being released from Taylored Expressions. The release day is this Friday, March 5th and you SO don't wanna miss this one! Today's sneak peek features the newest set in the TE Giving Tree Program, "You're My Hero". The TE Giving Tree program will donate $7.00 of each charitable set sold during the months of March through May to CureSearch in memory of Taylor's 10 year old next door neighbor, Darrin Zimmerman, who lost his battle with cancer last fall. CureSearch unites the world's largest childhood cancer research organization, the Children's Oncology Group, and the National Childhood Cancer Foundation through their mission to cure childhood cancer. I think this is a fabulous idea and I'm so pleased to be able to participate in this cause.
I decided to go with a totally ROCKIN' theme for this card using the "Rock Star" Key Ingredients kit along with the "You're My Hero" set. So many AWESOME things in this Key Ingredients kit, from the cool DP, to the glitter brads, and even this spah'kling ribbon!! Cool beans, huh? So, I started by stamping my image with Versamark ink onto the black cardstock and then embossing with silver tinsel embossing powder. Man, the image just pops off that black doesn't it? I did the same with the sentiment below and rounded the corners as well. I punched the diamond latice border with my Fiskars border punch and adhered this FABBY DP from the Rock Star KI kit on top. To finish, I added the chipboard star tag, a few glitter brads and this great ribbon, all from the kit as well. Ok, that does it for me today! Be sure to stop back by the hen house tomorrow for another sneak peek. Oooooh, I'm SO excited to show you... You're gonna love it!! Until tomorrow.... {{{hen hugs}}}

I stitched the DP onto the cardbase of SU Soft Suede and then tied on this pretty baby blue saddle stitched ribbon to finish!! Ain't she cute??? K, that does it for me today.
