I'm this OLD cuz mornings just SUCK the life outta me!!
ROFL!!! OMG, is she a hoot or what!! As soon as I saw this image as one of Jodie's new releases, I fell out laughing... Man, I LOVE her humor! Ya'll know me don't ya?
Gotta have my "bustagut" fix, or I'd be poutin' all week. LOL!! Ok, be sure to pop in over at Bugaboo Stamps and browze through ALL of Jodie's digitals. Uh, but don't say I didn't warn ya - you're gonna be HOOKED!! Seriously, I can't get enough of 'em!! Shhhhh, don't tell my DH! hehe!
Ok, so I printed my image onto some Strathmore Bristol smooth CS and colored her with my Copics. Now, it just wouldn't be right if she didn't have some shine on those RED lips so I added some glaze with my clear glaze pen and then of course, I added some Glossy Accents to her glasses. She looks so STINKIN cute IRL! This DP is from Bella Blvd and I LOVE the bright fun colors in the polka dots and stripes. Me LOVEEEE polka dots. *sigh* I matted the DP with some white CS and then stitched it to the SU Chocolate Chip cardbase. I also used my Fiskars border punch along the bottom edge of the Chocolate Chip mat behind the striped DP too. To finish, I added the sentiment and tied this brown polka dot ribbon into a cute bubbly bow! Okee dokee lil' hens, I sure hope you all have a SUPER DUPER Tuesday and be sure to leave a cluck below and let me know what you think of her, ok?
Don't forget to enter your submission to this week's challenge at Catch the Bug. The theme this week is BUG!! I can't wait to see your creations!!! {{{hen hugs}}}

ReplyDeleteGreat card! I LOVE your coloring and the papers and layout you chose are fabulous! I think I need that stamp and sentiment!!! Thanks for sharing your creations!
ReplyDeleteLove the card. I would have never thought of putting those two pattern papers together, but it looks great. You have open my eyes to some new pattern combinations. Love the card. The first digital images I ever purchased were from Bugaboo Stamps. I was however disapointer when I printed them out and then couldn't colour them with my copics as the ink bled into the image. Do you have any suggestions? What kind of printer and ink do you use? Great card as always!

ReplyDeleteI like the shading around the image and your skin coloring. I too agree with the image. Heck if I didn't have to get up to go to work, I would probably still be in my twenties!
