Get ready... it's time for Stamping Bella's release!!
Are you hens ready for some SERIOUSLY cute stuff??? OMG, wait til' you see what Stamping Bella has in store for you today!!! Better hold on to yer seats, cuz this is one AWESOME release.... just take a gander at this cute little baby!!! Is she some kinda cute or what??? and to top that off, guess what her name is???? Mavis!! SHUT UP!! Isn't that PERFECT??
Ok, so I stamped Mavis (*sigh*) onto some Choice Buttercream CS and colored her with my Copics. I added some grass using Paulabella's grass technique (I'll never be as good as Paulabella but I keep trying - LOL!). I matted her to some Dark Chocolate CS and stitched around the edges. This DP is from October Afternoon and I used my EK Success border punch along the bottom and finished with two little buttons for some added interest.
Ok, onto to another cutie patootie Mavis image.... Ahhhhhh, I could just sit and stare at her all day. She just makes me smile.... Ok, so I stamped her onto the same Choice Buttercream CS and colored her with my Copics too! I cut her out with my Nesties and sponged some chalk ink around the edges. I matted her to some SU Sahara Sand cut from my petite scalloped Nesties and adhered her to this cute DP from Deja Views called Soda Pop. Just perfect for my little beach goin' Mavis!! LOL!! I used my SU scalloped border punch along the bottom and finished with this yummy striped ribbon tied in a cute little bow!! Okee dokee, that does it for me today. Be sure to leave a cluck below and let me know whatcha think of lil' Mavis and hop on over and check out all the SUPER CUTE images available today at Stamping Bella. Have a wonderful Memorial Day! {{{hen hugs}}}

ReplyDeleteHappy Memorial Monday, Jeanie! I loved your double posted kitties. Too cute....my favorite is the beachy kitty with all the background words. I picked up the new Cards Creations and Take Ten publications yesterday while wandering Barnes and Nobel. They made me think of you....because I can tell you the truth there was not one card in there with the expertise in design, coloring and layout that I see here everyday! You are a talent! Have a great Monday (hope it is an extra day off for you!)
ReplyDeleteI have to agree with all of the above ladies - you are certainly one talented lady! These are sooo cute! I love the subtle stripes in both Mavis cards. It's the little touches that make the biggest impact - TFS!

ReplyDeleteI have to say, I LOVE dogs. Always had one - then three and now back to two. He He. But I'll tell ya, these are too cute to pass up. Your coloring keeps me coming back...I love the way you added subtle stripes, paper piecing and extra sharp layouts! You really know how to draw the eye in and your papers enhance the image so beautifully. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeletedouble-purrrr to you Jeanie...I LOVED these both when I first spied them. I wanted to add stripes, but since you did, I left them off. {LOL, I already copy your gorjuss photos!!} LOVING!! the color on the grey kitten, you ROCK!
ReplyDeleteOh these are just purrrrfect! Well done you. Jingle will love playing with Mavis, can you send her here, lol!
ReplyDeleteI love the stripes too, could never get that right!
I've been following your blog for a few weeks now and your Mavis cards are my absolute favorites! My mom's name is Mavis so those kitties just speak to me. :-) Question - I have never used Copics and don't own any, but these Mavis cards make me want to start picking up a few Copics. Would you be willing to share the colors you used on these two cards? I would love to know. Thanks!
