It's Anything But a Card Monday!!
Happy Monday hens!! This is my first opportunity to participate in the Anything But a Card Monday over at Catch the Bug so I sure do hope you like my project!! This was really hard for me... seems my little brain only knows how to score CS and color!! LOL!! I'm definitely outta my comfort zone here. YIKES!!
Ok, so I decided to make a PAPERWEIGHT for my desk at work. I knew this JJ image from Bugaboo Stamps would be perfect for it too!
Now since this is a glass paperweight with a beveled edge, it was a little difficult to photograph without it looking distorted, but it's really cute IRL!! I started by printing my image onto some SU Whisper White CS and colored her with my Copics. I traced the size of the glass gem onto my image and cut it out. Next, I applied a thin layer of Glossy Accents to the back of my glass gem and then placed it on top of my image. I used a credit card to get the air bubbles out and then adhered a piece of cork on the back using the same method. Super simple and what a cute gift idea too!! Ok, be sure to leave a cluck below and let me know what ya think, k? Have a great Monday! {{{hen hugs}}}
Supplies:
Digital Image - Bugaboo Stamps; CS - Stampin Up Whisper White; Copics; Glossy Accents; Paperweight Kit - Starlit Studio
