Happy That's Krafty Thursday lil' hens!! OMG, I'm gettin' SO addicted to these TKT challenges. We had some new hens this time and I'm ever so grateful for those of you who are participating in my lil' challenges. I LOVE visiting your blogs and reading each and every post. It's such a treat for me!! Soooooo, ya wannna know who won???? Well, everyone was a winner but here are the That's Krafty Thursday TOP THREE!!
CONGRATULATIONS Annika, Paula and Rachel!!! You're three Krafty Chicks!!!
Be sure to click on each image above and see the full card along with all the card details. I'm in AWE of each one. While you're there, be sure to leave them a cluck and a {{{hen hug}}} too!!
Oh, wait a minute, I have a card to show you!! I got so excited about my new TKT Krafty Chicks I almost forgot to show ya muh card!! Isn't this little baby cute??? My daughter needed a baby card for a friend and asked me if I'd make one for her. Hmmmm, duh!! Of course I will!! So she tells me about her friend and how much she LOVES the beach and even on her baby registry, she listed baby suntan lotion!! So my daughter decides to give her a beach bag full of beach things for the baby (swimsuit, toys, suntan lotion, etc.). With this in mind, I'm thinking I need to make the card look like summer but with a baby girl too....
Nope I'm not crazy, I do realize that this is "Take a stand Kirby" from Stamping Bella but I never bought "Take a Stand Maya" so I had to make Kirby "girly". Ehh, the new mama will never know. hehe!! So I colored him/her with my Copics and used my white gel pen to add some polka dots to the shirt. Hey, what can I say, it worked!! Shhh, I know there's a little car on the shirt but I sorta think it looks like the top of a chicken's head with sunglasses!! LOL!! Ok, so for the DP, I decided on this Cosmo Cricket Snorkel collection with these fun summer colors.
Yup, definitely not the traditional baby girl pink card but I think it's rather COOL, don't you?? Be sure to leave a cluck below and let me know, k? I hope you all have a wonderful day and get ready to kick off another TKT challenge on the 20th!! Awwwwk!
Supplies:
Rubber Stamp - Stamping Bella; DP - Cosmo Cricket Snorkel Collection; CS - SU Kraft & Real Red, Nestabilities; Ribbon - Stamp Simply Ribbon; Fiskars Apron Lace Border Punch
WHOA, (doing a crazy happy dance) I', a KRAFTY CHICK! I'd smother you with hugs but it's kinda tricky thing to do virtually! lol
ReplyDeleteOnce again a stunning card from you - and I giggled a LOT reading about how you femalized poor lil' Kirby. Girls can TOTALLY wear clothes with cars as well. Ask my DD. She has brother who's 2 years older than him ... guess where his clothes are going???!!!
Hugs and BIG thanks!
Annika

ReplyDeleteLove your card, it's just to sweet for words, and I so like the different colours, I can try that next time, instead of struggling with baby colours.
PS: just kidding about not winning, well done to the other ladies.
Aw clucks... no TKT challenge until next week! I had a card ready to go and everything... Cute card, Jeanie! I would have never known that was a boy if you didn't tell me. And congrats to the TKT top three. :)
ReplyDeleteI so love the non traditional colours on your baby card! You do such beautiful cards. I had the chance to see in person one of your cards as it was delivered to Stamping Bella...it was GORGEOUS!
ReplyDeleteI knew a lady named Kirby so I think it is adorable. You did a good job on this card. Not the traditional colors, but I love it. Didn't make it in the KFT challenge this time, but will give it a try next time. Congrats to all the "Krafty" chicks.
ReplyDeleteThe top 3 cards are just beautiful. I love the little baby, she very beachy.
