One donut a day...
...and everything's gonna be O-O-O-O-O-K! Ahhhh, ain't that the truth! I LOVE donuts! They make me SO haaap-peeeeeeee!! LOL!!
OMG, have you ever seen this video from Hallmark's Hoops and YoYo?? If not, ya gotta check it out HERE. Seriously, this is the funniest thing!! The bear in the middle (uuhhhh) just cracks me up! My daughter and I LOVVVEEEE Hoops and YoYo. My office is FULL of goodies and cards from them. I suppose I'm a bit of a Hallmark fanatic! Oh and who doesn't love Maxine! She's the BEST! He-he!!
So as I was making this card, that Hoops and YoYa video Ecard was playing over and over in my head. I LOVED that Ecard so much, my daughter actually found a Hoops and YoYa CD with it on it. I play it at work too!! LOL!! Click HERE for Hallmark’s Hoops and YoYo’s website if you’re interested. Ok, so I stamped this little donut, from the "Sprinkled with Love" set from Taylored Expressions, onto some Choice Snow White CS and colored it with my Copics. I added some Expresso Dimensional Pearls for the frosting and then added seed beads for the Jimmies!! This DP is from Three Bugs in a Rug and I picked it up ages ago. Not sure if it's still available or not, but it just reminds me of Neopolitan ice cream so I had to use it with my SUH-WEET card. Then as I was finishing the card, I thought a bubbly bow was just too busy with this DP so I decided on this cool metal flower that seemed to be a perfect companion to this DP, and I looped a little bit of satin ribbon under it. I think it's the perfect accent for this layout too! Wouldn't this be a great card to send to someone as a thank you or a pick me up card with a Dunkin Donut's gift card inside? OMG, I've gotta do that now! Okee dokee hens, I hope you have a SUPER Saturday and I'll see ya back in the hen house on Monday mornin'! {{{hen hugs}}}

It's CHRISTMAS!!!
...in July that is. Guess what??? There's ONLY 148 days til' Christmas!! WHAT??? No way, right? I'm tellin ya, it'll be here in the blink of an eye! Oh and I know it'll be like every other year, I have such high hopes of having all my cards done WAY in advance and mailed out early, presents all bought and wrapped.... so I can sit back, relax and enjoy the holidays! Bwah-ha-ha-ha!! Never happens. I'm ALWAYS late. I'll be late for my own funeral! Pffttt!
So here is Theo again from Stamping Bella's new release.... He's unloaded his bag from Wednesday and is sitting on one of the presents now. Isn't he a cutie?? I stamped him onto some of Bella's Bestest Paper and colored him with my Copics. Then I stamped the sentiment, also from Stamping Bella, with Versamark ink onto some SU Real Red CS and then applied some white embossing powder. It just pops on that red, doesn't it?
I matted the image on the red CS and stitched around the edges. This DP came in a holiday paper pack from K&Co that included all the holidays throughout the year. I LOVED those little lightbulbs with faces! See the one peeking out from behind the ribbon. Tee-hee! I adhered the DP to the SU Real Red cardbase and stitched around the edges and tied on this red polka dot ribbon to finish. Okee dokee, that's it for my little Christmas card, but wait, there's more. Check out all the great Christmas card ideas from the rest of the Bella Babes over at Bloggabella. Not to mention all the fabby cards submitted by the Sistahood too! Christmas EYE candy here I come!!
Now don't forget, the Bella Babes are looking for a new Babe to join our team. Wanna be a BABE and be on a Design Team with da Chicken??? Alls ya gotta do is submit a card for each Bellarific Friday in August and the Babes will pick their most favorite entries each week for a final decision to come after the contest ends. The 1st Bellarific Friday theme is Paper Piecing! Loveee that! Ok, I can't wait to meet my new BESTEST friend! Come on hens, show us whatcha got! Have a FABULOUS Friday!! {{{hen hugs}}}

That's Krafty Thursday #36
Woo-hoo!! It's TKT#36 AND my sis' REAL birthday too!! Wow, she's gets double billin' this week. Oh my, look what I've gone and done... she won't be able to fit her head through the door now. Tee-hee! Love ya sis!
Ok, so this is the card my Mom asked me to make for her, to give to my sis. I used this cute little digital image from Mo's Digital Pencil Shop called Birthday Hamster. You hens may remember me telling you that my sis LOVES mice, so I sorta thought this little guy could pass. Whatcha think? Aaah, she'll never know the difference. It ain't like she's got 'em running around so she can tell 'em apart! LOL! Although, I think this guy's had a little bit too much cake. His belly looks like mine! Bwah-ha-ha-ha!
Ok, so I printed my image on some Fanboy CS and colored it with my Copics. I used a few Post It Notes to mask along the edges of the image panel and sponged some chalk ink around the edges. Then I matted the image on some SU Expresso CS and stitched around the edges. Of course what's a cupcake without SPRINKLES?? Unheard of!! So I added some shine to them with my glaze pens in different colors. This DP is from My Minds Eye and I matted it with the same Expresso CS and stitched it as well. I printed the computer generated sentiment onto some scrap CS and cut it out with my SU Large Oval punch and matted it with the Expresso CS punched with my SU Scalloped Oval punch. To finish, I tied on this pretty grograin ribbon and added a button tied with twine on top! Be sure to leave a cluck below and let me know whatcha think, okay? Have a TERRIFIC Thursday and I'll see ya back in the hen house bright and early tomorrow for Bellarific Friday! It's Christmas in July!!! Jingle Bells, Jingle Bells, Jingle all the way!!! O what fun it is to stamp and meet with the SISTAHS to play, HEY!! {{{hen hugs}}}

Happy Birthday Sis!
Morning hens!! Thursday is actually my sis' birthday but I have two cards for her this year, so I thought I'd post mine first since the other (from my Mom) is doing double duty as my That's Krafty Thursday post! Ya know, as soon as I saw this image at Stamping Bella I knew it would be for my sis' card! OMG, this is SO us!! She's older than I am and I was ALWAYS bothering her. Mom used to make her take me places and boy would she ever complain! She'd say, "Do I hafta?? Oh Mom, she's such a brat!!!" Tee-hee!! I LOVED IT!! But don't feel sorry for her, she'd get me too... We slept on bunk beds and I had the top bunk, so she'd take her feet and kick the bottom of the top bunk and almost fling me out of it!! Hmmph!! Of course today, we get along like two peas in a pod!!
So for my sis' card, I stamped this image called "Stepsisters" from Stamping Bella onto some Bella's Bestest Paper and colored it with my Copics. I matted the image with some SU Basic Black and stitched around the edges. This DP is from Basic Grey's Marrakech collection and I stitched it to some SU Brocade Blue CS and then onto the SU Basic Black cardbase. My sis' favorite color is orange so to finish, I tied this pretty orange saddle stitched ribbon into a cute bubbly bow and there ya have it! Happy Birthday Sis!!
Be sure to leave a cluck below and lemme know what ya think, k? Oh, and don't forget to drop back by the hen house tomorrow for my Stamping Bella NEW RELEASE card!! You won't want to miss it!! Have a SUPER DUPER Tuesday! {{{hen hugs}}}

Meet Magnum!
Hey there hens!! Hope y'all had a nice weekend!! We had lot's of rain in Florida this weekend with Tropical Storm Bonnie coming through, but we needed the rain and it makes for a GREAT crafting weekend!! Hey, works for me!! LOL!!
So lookee what I have for you hens today!! This is Magnum.... my new LOVE!! Ain't he CUTE?? OMG, I SO love this guy! This is a new line of stamps that I'll be designing for called Ladybug Crafts Ink. The owner, Kerry, is just the sweetest person EVER!! So when she asked if I'd do a few cards for her new company, I said - YOU BET!! Helllloooooo??? Like who wouldn't want to play with this adorable kitty??? Uh, another no brainer!! I was like, "me-me-me-me, pick me!!" (hands waving frantically)
This particular Magnum is called "Add On Magnum" and he comes with the birthday cake and sentiment (although I didn't use it here). There is also a cute companion set called "Add Ons" that has all sorts of cute images for his hand. I've gotta try those fish bones!! Bwah-ha-ha-ha!! Oh that'd be hilarious!! Me LOVEEEEE funny cards!! Tee-hee!!
Ok, so first I stamped Magnum onto some Fanboy CS and then I stamped the cake on top of his paw and then again on a scrap piece of CS. Of course, that's the BESTEST thing about CLEAR stamps... there's no need for a Stampa-ma-jig cuz' you can see right through them!! So the placement of the cake was EASY PEASY!! Next, I colored Magnum and the extra cake with my Copics and then cut the extra cake out and adhered it on top with a few dimensionals, so it looks like his arm is coming right out of the picture!! He-he!! I want some of that cake! YUM!!
Ok, then I matted the image onto some SU Real Red CS and stitched around the edges. I added lots of shine to the icing on the cake and also added some glitter around the candle, as well. This DP is from October Afternoon's Report Card collection and I thought the bright colors were PURRR-FECT for a birthday card! To finish, I punched a hole in the upper right hand corner of the image and threaded through this striped grosgrain ribbon and tied it in a cute bubbly bow!! Okee dokee, that's it from the hen house today. Be sure to leave a cluck below and lemme know whatcha think of Magnum, k? If you're like me, you CAN'T (um, how bout WON'T!) live without him! LOL!! So head on over to Ladybug Crafts Ink and check out ALL the Magnums, not to mention some of the cutest little rascal kids you've ever seen!! I gotta have them too! Have a GREAT Monday!! {{{hen hugs}}}

Yep, it's Summertime alright!!
For us Floridians, that's a no brainer!! Oh man, is it ever HOT!! But for today, it's perfect cuz' it plays right into this week's Catch the Bug Challenge - SUMMERTIME!! So for my card today, I decided to go with a sport that's pretty popular here in the Sunshine State - TUBIN'!! Oh yeah, it don't get no funner than tubin'!! Woo-hoo!! Skippin' across the water and holdin' on for dear life! And if ya got a maniac drivin' the boat (I ain't mentioning no names, uh-hmm!), he zig zags back and forth so he can fling you over the boat wakes!! Um, yep - I've had my share of tubin' experiences!! What??? You never seen a chicken on a tube b'fore??? Bwah-ha-ha-ha!!
Ok-ok, so for my card I chose this super cute image called "A Kids View - Tubin" from Bugaboo Stamps. I printed the image onto some Fanboy CS and colored him with my Copics. I matted him with some blue CS and stitched around the edges. I applied some Glossy Accents to the water for a little splash and then tied this red & white thread to the tube for the perfect boat rope! I picked up this DP on one of my MANY trips to Michaels and cut the sun out free hand. Oh and my daughter thought of the sentiment inside - it reads, "When the waves get rough - keep hangin' on!" Isn't that perfect for a "pick me up" card? I loved it! Pretty simple card and would definitely put a smile on someone's face who was havin' a bad day. Okee dokee, that's it for me today. Be sure to leave a cluck below and let me know what ya think and if this Florida heat ain't hot enough for ya, then hop on over to the rest of the Bugaboo DT and see what they've got cookin'. I bet their creations are SMOH-KIN hot! See ya back in the coop on Monday!! {{{hen hugs}}}

my LOVE runneth over....
Hey there lil' hens!! Know what today is???? Uh-huh, it's Bellarific Friday and today's theme is Bella or Stella!! Woo-hooo!! Well, that's a no brainer for this hen.... Ya'll know what a sucker I am for Stella!! Ain't she a hoot??
Now, I've had this idea in my head for awhile, on how I was gonna use this image, so I was thrilled when I heard what this week's Bellarific Friday challenge was.
So I started by stamping "Stella doing a balancing act" from Stamping Bella onto some Bella's Bestest Paper and colored her with my Copics. I cut her out with my Circle Nesties and sponged some chalk ink around the edges. I matted her with some SU Expresso CS, cut out with my Scalloped Circle Nesties and adhered the image to this great DP from Pink Paislee. I used my EK Success border punch on the vertical border and adhered the computer generated sentiment underneath the button tied with twine. To finish, I added some shine to those ruby red lips with my Sakura glaze pen and added some bubbles to her bathtub as well. Remember me tellin you hens on Wednesday about the new Viva Decor products? Well, I used the new Pearl Pen for the bubbles in Stella's tub. To do this, I actually applied about a dozen or so little dots onto a piece of wax paper and let them dry overnight. Then I popped them off, with no trouble at all, and adhered them to the image with my Quickie Glue pen. Super simple and they look like real pearl embelishments too (uh, make that bubbles)!! Ok, that does it for me today, be sure to leave a cluck below and let me know what ya think, k? Ready for some more Stella and Bella creations???? Head on over to Bloggabella and see what the rest of da Bella Babes and the Sistahood have come up with. I hope you hens have a FABBY Friday and I'll see ya back in the hen house bright n early tomorrow morning!
Next week's Bellarific Friday theme is Christmas in July!! Oooooh, I'm already singin!! Frosty the Snowman, was alive as he could be, And the children say he could laugh and play just the same as you and me!!! Time to get BIZZEEE, BIZZEEE, BIZZEEE!!!!
Supplies:
Rubber Stamp - Stamping Bella; DP - Pink Paislee; CS - SU Expresso, Bella's Bestest Paper; EK Success Border Punch; Nestabilities; Pearl Pen - Viva Decor; Copics; Button; Colorbox Chalk Ink

Center of Attention Product Spotlight - Taylored Originals
I'm baaa-aack!!! Miss me?? LOL!! For my card today, I used a new product from Taylored Expressions called Paper Pretties. Now, I've used paper flowers in the past and I'll be the first to tell you, I've never been a fan of them because it never seems to fail, when I take them out of the package, they're all bent up. Uggh!!
Well, here's the cool thing about these. Now I'm not sure if I just got lucky but mine were perfect!! They're very well made and not flimsy at all. I don't know if they're made from a different kind of material but trust me, they're REALLY nice, and I LOVE the little stemen in the center of each flower. So cute!!
So with that said, here's my card I made with them. You know I had to pull double duty and make this card part of my That's Krafty Thursday #35 and I just LOVE how it turned out. I stamped this little vase directly onto the Kraft CS and colored the water with my Copics. I glued the Paper Pretties on with some craft glue and added a few brads to the sides. I cut the image out with my Scalloped Circle Nesties and matted it with some brown CS and again with the Kraft. This DP is from My Minds Eye's Garden Party collection and I finished with a little lace and some taffeta ribbon tied in a cute bubbly bow. Now, here's the great news.... Taylored Expressions is offering these cute little flowers at a 15% discount today through Sunday. How cool is that? Be sure to check out all the other colors available too, Like me, I'm sure you'll want them all. Wanna see some more awesome ideas? Just hop on over to the rest of the Baker's Dozen DT playing along in today's Product Focus Spotlight and feast your eyes on some truely inspiring creations.

Drivin' by with a birthday hi!!
Hi hens!! Today is my Oldie but Goodie post for Bugaboo Stamps. I do LOVEEEE Oldie but Goodie day. That means I get to go plunder through my stash of digital images, and play with whatever I puh-leeeze!! Yippeee!!
So, today I decided to try out "My Little Sock Monkey". I had bought this DP from Michael's several months ago to use with this image but just never got around to it. The DP actually has sock monkey's all over it but once I got it on the card, the paper was just TOO busy so I decided to just stick with one of the coordinating sheets and not use the one with the monkeys Phooeee!! It really is cute but WAY too big for this card.
Ok, so I printed my little monkey onto some Fanboy CS and colored him with my Copics. I matted the image with some SU Brocade Blue and then again on some SU Chocolate Chip. I stitched around the edges and tied this CRAZY lime green ribbon into a cute bubbly bow! To finish, I printed the sentiment onto some scrap CS and punched it out with my circle punch and added a SU Chocolate Chip circle mat. Okee dokee, be sure to leave a cluck below and let me know what ya think, then hop on over to the Catch the Bug challenge blog and check out the rest of the DT playing along today.
Now, are ya wondering where the TKT winners are? Well, I've got a treat for ya. Today is a double post Thursday, so I'll include this week's Krafty Chick winners on my 11:00am post. Oooooh, that's mean... Tee-hee!! I'm being a little booger today ain't I?? Hey, I gotta keep the hens comin' back.... I get lonely here in the coop when you leave!! See ya back in a bit! {{{hen hugs}}}

Snail Mail....
Hey hens.... so whatcha think of my lil' card? Ain't this the cutest little Huggabug? I've had this stamp for awhile now but just never could think how I wanted to use it. Then it hit me that it would make a great belated birthday card since snails are SLOOOOOOWW! Tee-hee!! See sometimes the 'ol noggin can come up with a few good ones. It's not often, but it does happen every now and then!! LOL!!
This is "snaily Huggabugg" from Stamping Bella. I stamped her onto some Bella's Bestest paper and colored her with my Copics. I cut her out with my circle Nesties and sponged some chalk ink around the edges with the die in place. I adhered her with a few dimensionals to some SU Chocolate Chip CS cut with the scalloped circle Nestie and added the sentiment in sections between the two layers. This DP is from Cosmo Cricket's Nutmeg collection and I stitched it onto some SU Chocolate Chip CS and tied this pretty satin ribbon into a cute bubbly bow! To finish, I used a new product I just got in called Glitter Liner from Viva Decor. The color I used is Halo Iridescent. What's really neat about this is, not only does it have amazing glitter SPAH-KLE but it doesn't flatten out when it dries. It stays raised just like when you applied it! Super cool stuff!! I plan to use this a lot!! I bought the pearl pen too! Can't wait to try that one! Okee dokee, that's it for me today. Don't forget to leave a cluck below and let me know what ya think, k? I LOVEEEEE hearing from da hens!!
Be sure to check back in tomorrow for this week's KRAFTY CHICK winners!! Woo-hoo!! I get so excited lookin' at all the SUPER DUPER KRAFTY projects from da hens!! You all just AMAAAAAZE me! Have a WONDERFUL Wednesday!! {{{hen hugs}}}

DANGER - DANGER!!
DANGER-DANGER!! Ok, so how many of you hens remember that from Lost in Space? Bwah-ha-ha-ha!! Can you believe that used to be one of my most FAVORITE shows? I use to run all the way home from the school bus stop just to watch it. Yeah, and that was when we had UHF and VHF channels too! Remember those? Boy am I OLD!! Although I must admit, "Kilo Watt" is lots cuter than "Robot" on the show. Whew, he was rough!! LOL!!
Ok, so I stamped "Kilo Watt" from Stamping Bella onto some of Bella's Bestest paper and colored him with my Copics. I matted him with some SU Cool Carribean CS and then again on some SU Real Red CS. I used my SU scalloped border punch along the bottom edge of the Real Red CS and stitched around the edges of all the layers. This DP is from Cosmo Cricket's Cognos collection and I think it was MADE for this stamp. It's just perfect, don't ya think? The collection also includes a sheet of tags as well, so I cut out the WARNING tag and adhered it with a few pop dots over his head. To finish, I tied this pretty grosgrain ribbon into a cute bubbly bow and there ya have one SUPER CUTE little birthday card!

It's Bellarific Friday!
TGIBF!! (Thank goodness it's Bellarific Friday!) Whoopeeee! Today's Bellarific Friday is a sketch challenge from our own Bella Babe Karen Motzabella!!
I had planned on using this image for today's card and was going to mat it with a circle behind to follow the sketch, but as you can see, things don't always go according to plan. *sigh* So I just used the image as is.
I stamped "Persephone" from Stamping Bella onto some Bella's Bestest Paper and colored her with my Copics. I cut her out with my Big Scalloped Squares Nestie and sponged some chalk ink around the edges. This DP is from Cosmo Cricket's Earth Love collection and I stitched around the edges and adhered it to the SU Chocolate Chip cardbase. I finished with a few brads, this yummy chocolate ribbon, and a little gem on the flower. Wanna see some more ideas for this sketch? Fly on over to Bloggabella and check out the rest of the Bella Babes and the sistahood too. You could even win some cool Bella bucks just for leaving a comment! Dat's what I'm talkin' bout!

That's Krafty Thursday #34
Yay!! It's time for another That's Krafty Thursday challenge!! Yippee Skippee!
For today's card, I used another Lollipop! I told ya they were screaming at me!! *snort* Now, it's been awhile since I've actually colored on Kraft CS so I decided that's what I wanted to do today. I stamped Hannah Lollipop from Stamping Bella onto some SU Kraft CS and colored her with my Lyra and Prismacolor pencils. Her dress and bow are paper pieced with a coordinating sheet of this DP from Stampin Up. I used my Copics to add a little shading to the paper pieces and then added some white accents to the ruffled trim on her dress hem and collar with my Signo white gel pen. I also used the gel pen to add some faux stitching to the edges of the image panel to mimic the stitching in the pink grosgrain ribbon. I punched the bottom edge of the image panel with my Fiskars threading water border punch and adhered her to the DP with a few dimensionals. I matted the DP with some pink Bazzil CS and stitched around the edges. I finished by printing the sentiment on a scrap piece of Kraft and punched it out with my Martha Stewart tag punch. Okee dokee, that's it for me today. Be sure to leave a cluck below and let me know what ya think of her, k?
Don't forget, today begins a new That's Krafty Thursday challenge. Wanna play? Ok, here's the instructions - make a card using Kraft CS. That's it!! Easy peasy right? LOL! Just link it below using Mr. Linky by Wednesday, July 21st at 7:00pm EST and I'll pick my TOP THREE KRAFTY CHICKS and post the winners on Thursday, July 22nd. In addition, all three winners will receive Clara the Krafty Chick as a badge for their blog. Ain't she great? I LOVEEE Clara!! Ain't I cute?
OMG, YES you are!! I LOVEEEE this little image from Stamping Bella. It's one of the images from the Lollipop collection. As I went digging for the images I wanted to use this week, I came across my Lollipops and they were just screaming for some ink! So, I helped them out a bit and showed 'em some lovin'!! LOL!
I stamped Lizzie Lollipop onto some Bella's Bestest Paper and colored her with my Copics. I added some Glamour Dust to her wings for some cool SPAH-KLE and a little black glaze to her antennae for some shine! Woo-hoo!! She's all decked out for sure. I cut her out with my rectangular Nestie and sponged some chalk ink around the edges with the die in place. This DP is from Pebbles' Downtown collection and I matted it with some blue from the same collection and stitched around the edges. I finished with this polka dot grosgrain ribbon tied in a cute bubbly bow. Okee dokee, that's it for me today. Be sure to leave a cluck below and let me know what ya think of lil' Lizzie. I'll see ya back in the hen house on Thursday for my next TKT challenge!! Come on, dig that Kraft CS out and get those cards ready for a new challenge beginning this Thursday!! YOU could be the next Krafty Chick!! {{{hen hugs}}}

ABC Monday!
Um, that's Anything But a Card Monday!! LOL!! So whatcha think of my little journal? Ain't it the BEST? OMG, I just LOVE how this turned out. My daughter is one of those dieters that writes down what she eats so I thought this would be perfect for her. She's gonna have a fit over this!! I just know it!!
Ok, so I started by printing Mildred Box of Chocolates from Bugaboo Stamps onto some Fanboy Manga drawing paper and colored her with my Copics. Now of course, since there is CHOCOLATE candy in the image, I HAD to pull out my Expresso Dimensional Pearls. This stuff looks so much like chocolate it's not funny! I almost picked it off and ate it myself! Mmmm-mmmm! LOL!! Ok, so then I matted Mildred with some SU Basic Black CS and adhered her to this DP from October Afternoon's Thift Shop collection. I matted the DP panel with some white CS and then added this striped ribbon tied in a cute bubbly bow. The computer generated title was printed on some white CS as well and punched out with my SU large oval punch and I matted it with some SU Basic Black CS punched with the SU Scalloped oval punch. The little notepad I used is 2 1/2"x 8" so I made a cover using some SU Basic Black CS and scored it twice at the top to square off the notepad fold at the top. I applied some Score Tape to the back of the notepad and adhered it to the inside of the back cover. Then I adhered the DP/image panel to the front of the cover and added a business card magnet to the back so she can keep it on the refrigerator. Pretty cool, huh? I just love it! This would be a great idea for a shopping list notepad too! Ok, well that's it from me today. Be sure to leave a cluck below and let me know what ya think and I'll see ya back in the hen house tomorrow! {{{hen hugs}}}

Christmas in July!!
Jingle Bells, Jingle Bells, Jingle all the way!!...... Woo-hoo!! Oooooh, I LOVEEEE Christmas, don't you? I was so excited over this week's Catch the Bug Challenge "Christmas in July" not to mention, I needed to get started on my Christmas cards anyway.
This little image is "Candy Cane" in the Christmas Mice section over at Bugaboo Stamps. Isn't she the cutest? I printed her out on some Fanboy CS and colored her with my Copics. I cut her out with my circle Nesties and sponged some chalk ink around the edges with the die in place. I matted the image with some SU Real Red CS and I added some glaze to her candy cane but I don't think it's visible in the photo. It's SO cute in real life! This DP is from the Be Merry collection from My Minds Eye. I love the soft colors in this collection and the red accents look great with it too! I punched a couple of snowflakes from the SU Very Vanilla and SU Real Red CS and covered them with Diamond Dust for a really cool icy look. Then I finished with this pretty red grosgrain ribbon tied in a cute bubbly bow! It's beginnin' to look a lot like Christmas!! LOL! It'll be here before ya know it, right? Ok, that's it from the hen house today. Be sure to leave me a cluck below and let me know what ya think of my 1st Christmas card and check out the rest of the Bugaboo Design Team for some more great Christmas ideas. {{{hen hugs}}}

Don't ya lovee da buggs??? I just think they're the cutest images EVER!! Today I used BedbuGG Huggabugg from Stamping Bella. I stamped my image onto some Bella's Bestest paper and colored her with my Copics. I cut her out with my Circle Nesties and sponged some chalk ink around the edges with the Nestie die in place. This DP is from October Afternoon's Fly a Kite collection and I matted it with some SU Chocolate Chip CS. I used my EK Success Border Punch along the top edge of the bottom DP piece and finished with this pretty satin chocolate ribbon. You likeee? Me too!
Next week's Bellarific Friday theme is a sketch from my fellow Bella Babe Karen Motzabella. Ain't it a beaut? LOVE IT! Come on and play along with da Bella Babes and the sistahood. You might just win some COOL Bella Bucks!! Woo-hoo! No hen I know wouldn't want some FREE rubbah, ain't dat right?

It's Release Day at Taylored Expressions!
Hey hens!! Today is da day!! Yup, it's release day at Taylored Expressions. Woo-hoo!! Today I'm featuring two of the three sets being released today. My first card today was made using the set, "In the Park" and all the supplies used on the card are from the "Summertime" Project Pantry as well. But first, I have a hidden surprise on this card. It's a new HUGE background stamp Taylor is releasing today too! Let's see if you can find it? Look hard now.... LOL! I'm so bad!! Ok, ya give up? It's the fence behind the tree! Fooled ya huh? Seriously, this is a huge stamp and it's a stitched plaid pattern. A very nice addition to any background stamp collection. Now I already knew what scene I was going to create with this set but I couldn't quite figure out how I was going to incorporate this background stamp into it. I finally decided on a fence! So, I only inked one row of the stitching on the stamp and then pressed it against the lower portion of my CS. I stamped the tree right over the fence and again onto a separate piece of CS. I colored the second stamped tree with my Copics and cut only the trunk out with my Exacto knife. I stamped and colored the bench on a separate piece of CS too and cut it out with my Exacto knife and then added all the pieces to the main panel with the fence. The only thing that's really stamped and colored on the main panel is the tree leaves. Everything else is paper pieced. Next, I drew in some ground effects and grass with my Prismacolor pencils and sponged some chalk ink around the image as well. I matted the image with some green CS from the "Summertime" Project Pantry and adhered it to this great DP from the kit too! I tied this ribbon into a cute bubbly bow and finished by stamping the sentiment from this set and punching it out with my scalloped oval punch. Now, just so you know what all is included in the "Summertime" Project Pantry kit, here are some of the specifics:
20 sheets of 6x6 patterned paper from the Echo Park Summertime collection
14 sheets of 8.5x11 cardstock (Snow White neutral)
5 yards of ribbon (1 yard each of 5 different syles)
Sheet of coordinating stickers
Candy Dots (mixture of orange, baby blue, yellow glitter, and green glitter)
Buttons
Now, for my second card, I used the new set "Feeling Groovy" and I also used all the ingredients from the That's 70 Project Pantry kit too. I LOVED this little scooter from the set and decided to use it for my card. But seriously, there are tons of images in this set, and all from the FLOWER POWER era! Woo-hoo!! My high school years!! Ok, so I stamped my image onto some Choice CS and colored it with my Copics. I cut the image out with my big scalloped circle Nestie and sponged some chalk ink around the edges. I cut another big scalloped circle from the pink CS and matted it behind. I ran the two green panels through my Cuttlebug Swiss Dot embossing folder and placed a glitter brad in each corner. To finish, I tied on this pretty green ribbon and there ya have a COOL card, dude! The "That's 70 Project Pantry" includes:
16 sheets of 6x6 patterned paper from the Doodlebug Feeling Groovy collection
12 sheets of 8.5x11 cardstock (Snow White neutral)
5 yards of ribbon (1 yard each of 5 different styles)
6 Peace Brads
16 Glitter Brads
24 Mylar Flowers
24 Rhinestone Flowers
6 Butterflies (2 each turquoise, hot pink, lime green)
Whew! That's a LOT of supplies so the possibilities are endless!

Taylored Expressions Sneak Peek Day 2
Hey hens!! Today I'll be featuring one of the new sets being released tomorrow called "Weigh to Go!" from Taylored Expressions. This set has so many cute images, I had a hard time deciding which one to use. I finally decided on this phrase, "Dieting is Wishful Shrinking" LOL!! Ain't that the truth!! Of course, I thought the little black dress would fit right in, so I used it too!
I began by stamping both images on some Choice CS and colored them with my Copics. I cut the phrase out with my rectangle Nesties and cut the dress out with my Exacto knife. I sponged some chalk ink around the phrase and then matted it with some black CS. This DP is from Cosmo Cricket's Material Girl collection. I thought the measuring tape DP in the pack was perfect! Tee-hee! To finish, I tied this black stitched ribbon into a cute bubbly bow and added a button to the center. Okee dokee, that's it for me today. Be sure to leave a cluck below and let me know what ya think. Don't forget to visit the rest of the Baker's Dozen team for tons more great ideas! {{{hen hugs}}}

Taylored Expressions Sneak Peek Day 1
Hey there hens! Well I had a fabulous looong weekend! I hope yours was good as well. Today is Day 1 of this week's TE Sneak Peeks. Today I'll be featuring two of the four A La Carte images available on Thursday, July 8th from Taylored Expressions. My first card features "Destination New York". Oh, I hope I did it justice!! I'm not much of a city chick, so I hope I didn't mess these images up! LOL!! After I finished this card, I asked my DH, please tell me that's water behind that railing!! He laughed and said YES! Whew!!
Ok, so I stamped my image onto some Choice CS and colored it with my Copics. I cut the image out with my oval Nesties and then sponged some chalk ink around the edges with the die in place. I matted the image with some black CS and used my Fiskars border punch along the bottom edge. This DP and ribbon are from the new "Summertime" Project Pantry being released this Thursday. To finish, I stamped the sentiment (included with the image) and adhered it under the ribbon, tied in a cute bubbly bow!
For my second card, I used "Destination Seattle". I LOVED Cuppie's little umbrella and thought this would make a great Get Well card. Again, I used the paper and ribbon from the "Summertime" Project Pantry. I stamped the image on some Choice CS and colored it with my Copics. I matted it with some black CS to make it pop off the blue and then stamped the sentiment, also included with this image, onto the DP below. I tied the ribbon from the kit around the yellow panel and finished with a little clear glaze on Cuppie's chocolate ice cream. Okee dokee, that's it for me today. Be sure to leave a cluck below and let me know what ya think, k? Wanna see some more great ideas? Hop on over to the rest of the Baker's Dozen and get ready to be WOW'd!! {{{hen hugs}}}

I just WUV you!
Ahhh, isn't this image sweet? This is "BUDS GIRL" from Stamping Bella. I just fell in love with this image as soon as Emily released it.
I stamped the image onto some Bella's Bestest Paper and colored it with my Copics. I matted the image with some SU Chocolate Chip CS and stitched around the edges. This DP is from Cosmo Cricket's Everafter collection. I bought this DP as a Double Deck paper pad that includes the Girl Friday collection from yesterday's post. I really like these Double Deck paper pads. It's like getting two for the price of one! The Spotted Chick LOVES 2fers! Woo-hoo! Ok, so to finish the card, I added this lace trim and tied this two toned ribbon on top! I really LOVE how this card turned out, don't you? Leave me a cluck below and let me know whatcha think, ok? Have a great day and I'll see ya back in the hen house tomorrow. I've gotta busy week planned for da hens! {{{hen hugs}}}

Ribs, hot dogs, grilled corn on the cob, potato salad, baked beans, garlic bread.... is your stomach growling yet?
Ok, before I head out, I wanted to post this little card I made with "Swingin' Mavis" from Stamping Bella. Ain't she the cutest?? I stamped her onto some Bella's Bestest paper and colored her with my Copics. I cut her out with my circle Nestie and sponged some chalk ink around the edges. You can see my tutorial on this technique HERE. I matted the image with a large scalloped circle Nestie cut from the same DP as I used on the bottom of the card. This DP is from Cosmo Cricket's Girl Friday collection and I matted it with some SU Very Vanilla and stitched around the edges. To finish, I tied this cute black stitched ribbon into a little bubbly bow with a button in the center. Okee dokee, that's it from the hen house today. I hope you hens all have a fabby day and I'll see ya back in the hen house tomorrow with another SUPER CUTE Stamping Bella creation.
Oh, and just in case ya hadn't heard, Emily is extending her 20% off SALE until Monday, July 5th! Yippeee! Ya gotta go check out all the super cute images at Stamping Bella and get in on this TEE-RIF-FIC SALE! (Discount code = emily38) {{{hen hugs}}}

FORE!!!!
Woo-hoo!! It's Bellarific Friday!! I get so excited on Bellarific Fridays. I LOVE seeing all the eye candy over at Bloggabella. The Bella Babes and the sistahood are always AMAAAAZING!
Today's theme was SQUARE CARDS!! Ok, that's easy peasy for the Chicken!! I LOVE a square card base. For those of you've who've ever wondered what size my square cards are, I always make a 5 1/2 x 5 1/2. Mostly because I only buy 8 1/2 x 11 CS so this size works best for me. The great thing about square cards is, you have LOTS of ROOM!! Sometimes an A2 card just doesn't allow enough room to view all the elements of an interesting layout or sometimes it's just too little for the image itself!! This image, "the BIG GUY golfing" from Stamping Bella is one of those! But it works perfectly on a square card and yet still allows room to view the layout too! I stamped the image and colored him with my Copics. I stitched this DP to some blue DCWV CS and then adhered it with a few dimensionals to the next layer and stitched around the edges. I tied on this pretty baby blue saddle stitched ribbon, but only tied it in a simple knot!! You know the drill - NO RIBBON ON GUY CARDS!! Ugggh! Too bad.... although it would've been better with a bubbly bow!!! Hmmph!!!
Okee dokee, that's it for me today. Be sure to leave a cluck below and lemme know whatcha think! Next week's Bellarific Friday theme is "Huggabugs". Oooooh, I LOVEEEE da huggabuggs!! Yay!! Have a FABULOUS FRIDAY and a WONDERFUL WEEKEND!!! {{{hen hugs}}}

Oh PUH-LEEEEEASE be lower!!
Hi there! Happy That's Krafty Thursday #33!! I just LOVEEEE my card today. A little different but cool none the less! This image, called "Hoping", is one of Mo's images "in rubbah" available from Stamping Bella. Don't ya just LOVE Mo's images? *sigh*
Ok, so I stamped the image and colored her with my Copics. I cut her out with my Exacto knife and adhered her to this tag with a few dimensionals. I thought this tag, with the days of the week, was perfect for someone watching their weight! Yep, I'm one of those goofs that weigh myself EVERYDAY! Did I mention I have OCD? LOL!! This DP is from DCWV Farmer's Market paper pad and the tag is included! I stitched the DP onto some SU Real Red CS and then onto the SU Kraft cardbase. To finish, I tied this pretty saddle stitched ribbon into a cute bubbly bow!
NOW THAT'S KRAFTY!!!
