IRONING?
Pffft! I bury mine in the back yard!! LOL!!
That's an ol' Phyllis Diller line! I LOVE Phyllis Diller!! That hair of hers, those crazy clothes and of course, that LAUGH!! Bwah-ha-ha-ha!! What a hoot!! Remember her husband FANG? Ummm, now that I think about it... that sounds like a pretty good name for mine! ROFL!!
This is Ironing Nikki from Ladybug Crafts Ink. Ain't she cute? I don't know if everyone feels like I do about ironing, but OMG, do I ever HATE it!! I think burying it sounds like a FABBY idea to me. Think about it, then we'd have to go shopping again and again. Sounds like a WIN-WIN to me!! LOL!
Ok, so I stamped Nikki onto some Fanboy CS and colored her with my Copics. I matted her with some SU Basic Black, Georgia Pacific White and again on SU Basic Black and then stitched around the edges. I used my SU border punch on the DP and black horizontal pieces and adhered them to the DP with a few dimensionals. I stitched the DP to the SU Basic Black CS, added the computer generated sentiment and finished with some saddle stitched ribbon tied in a cute bubbly bow! You likeee??? If so, pop on over to Ladybug Crafts Ink and check out the entire Nikki & Friends collection. You'll be hooked for sure!
Now as if that weren't enough to entice you, how would you hens like to be on a Design Team using these fabby LCI images??? Say no more, Kerry's having a LCI Design Team call right now!! Click HERE for more information. I can speak from experience, playing with these images is a TOTAL treat!! Come on, what've ya got to lose?? Uh, except maybe tons of fun!! LOL!
Okee dokee hens, that's it for me today. Be sure to leave a cluck below and lemme know whatcha think, k? I hope you all have a MAH-VELOUS Monday! See ya back in the hen house on Wednesday! {{{hen hugs}}}

ReplyDeleteCUTE card. Luckily I am not so repulsed by the iron ! AND boy do I remember the wild and zany Phyliss Diller. They do not do good comedy like that anymore :( Red skelton was another fave. Oops- I maybe showing my age again. LOL. Hugs...

ReplyDeleteHey Chicken!! This is a SPECTACULAR card!!! OMG, that dotty paper and layout and woohoo....I HATE ironing as much as all you. Did your mother iron lots, when you was little. Our ironing board was like a counter sometimes! Seems like it was always up.
ReplyDeleteAny woman would love to get this card. The polka dots and the black paper are adorable together.

I iron one outfit at a time, so I do it often but quickly - it doesn't seem quite so bad that way. My ironing board doesn't have a cute skirt like this one does though. I always like how the black can really bring out the colors that you do. This looks great.
