You know you're old when...

Monrin' hens!
Here's a little card I made for the DH's birthday this year!  The inside reads:
...you don't even buy green bananas anymore!

Fit's him to a tee!  LOL!  I printed the image onto some Neenah Classic Crest CS and colored it with my Copics.  I fed the image back through the printer for both the number and sentiment.  After I colored the image, I sponged some distress ink around the edges and matted it to some SU Early Expresso CS using my Perfect Layers tool.  To finish, I added some twine and some Glossy Accents to his glasses.  That's it for me today!  I hope you hens have great day!  {{{hen hugs}}}

Supplies:
Rubber Stamp - CHF; CS - SU Early Expresso; Copics: Perfect Layers Tool; Distress Ink - Tim Holtz; DP - Bo Bunny; Glossy Accents, Twine

Happy Birthday Bobby!

Hi there!  Sorry for the lack of posts recently, but the holidays had me a little bit preoccupied.  Tee-hee!  Santa was SUPER good to me this year and I had an AWESOME Christmas.  I hope yours was as well.  Today is my brother Bobby's birthday.  I made this card for him using my Silhouette Cameo.  Man, I do love that machine!  Ok, so first I cut the word HAPPY out of a spare piece of textured cardstock and I was careful to save those letters for another card some day.  Then I cut the balloons out of some scrap pieces of DP.  I stamped the image from "Stamps by Judith" onto the bottom right corner of the panel and colored him with my Copics.  I created a strip of designer papers to be placed under the cut out letters using 5 different patterns and spaced them so each letter would have a different pattern showing through.  I matted the strip of DP's onto a piece of SU Really Rust CS and then added the cut out panel on top using several dimensionals for a 3D effect.  I added some string behind the balloons and gathered them in his hand.  Next, I stamped "birthday" from Paper Smooches onto a scrap piece of DP and trimmed it in the shape of a flag.  I added it to the panel using a few dimensionals and there you have it!  I just love this card, and the raised panel gives such a neat visual effect.  Ok, that's it for me today.  I hope you hens have a TERRIFIC TUESDAY!  {{{hen hugs}}}
