Mornin' hens! Continuing with my Valentine's Day "eye" candy, here's Doug's card. Have I mentioned lately, Doug is the BESTEST Son in Law EVAH!! I wanted to make him a card that was sweet but not too mushy. You hens know I struggle with "men" cards but I think this one is "wooly" GREAT! Baah-ha-ha-ha!
Ah, EWE know EWE wuv me! {{{snort!}}}
Ok, so I started by applying some embossing paste to the card base using a heart stencil. I just love using this embossing paste. It's super easy and gives such awesome texture to the card. Next, I stamped the sheep image three times and colored them with my Copics. Then to add some curly swirls to their wool coats, I drew curls with my white gel pen. I've never seen this done before, but I think this added the perfect touch to their coats. Ok, so then I stamped the sentiment using two different stamp sets, and adhered it using foam tape in a faux banner shape. To finish, I adhered some hearts with a little glossy accents on top, and tied on some baker's twine. Okee dokee, that's it for me today! I hope you hens have a FABULOUS Friday and I see ya baa-aaa-aaa-ck in the hen house real soon. {{{hen hugs}}}
