Happy Thanksgiving to everyone! My family and I are gathering at my brother's house for Thanksgiving dinner today. I fully expect to "waddle" my way back to the car afterwards!! I can smell the turkey already.... YUM!!
I DO love turkey and all those yummy fixins'... sweet potato casserole, mashed potatoes, cranberry relish, stuffing, biscuits, PUMPKIN PIE WITH LOTS of Cool Whip!!! Oh yeah!!! ***sigh*** It's time for a nap and I haven't even ate yet! (he-he) So ,what are your plans for today?? Leave a comment below and tell me what you're doing this year and I'd LOVE to know your favorite dish too!!
Ok, now even though it's Thanksgiving, The Spotted Chick never rests... so I have a card for you today and since it's Thursday, you know what that means... Yup, it's That's Krafty Thursday!! This is "staceyfishabella" from Stamping Bella. I stamped her onto some SU Kraft CS and colored her with my Lyra pencils. Isn't she cute?? This sentiment is from Stamping Bella too. I stamped it onto some SU Kraft CS and adhered it to the bottom half of the card. I added some eyelet trim just above to cover the seam between the two DP's. Isn't this DP great? It's from Crate Paper and I stitched it onto the card base of SU Kraft. I stitched around the edges of the image too and finished with this ADORABLE crocheted flower that my BESTEST friend JoAnn made for me and added a brad to the center. Doesn't it work perfectly with this card??
Now That's Krafty!!
That's it for me today. My daughter and I are going to attempt the whole Black Friday thing tomorrow. We've never went shopping on Black Friday before so this should be an experience for the both of us. Yikes!! Wish me luck!
I wish each of you a blessed Thanksgiving.
Supplies:
Stamps - Staceyfishabella and sentiment from Stamping Bella; DP - Crate Paper; Eyelet Trim; Lyra pencils; Crocheted Flower; Brad

Wishing you and your loved ones a blessed Thanksgiving. Cute card today, love the craft paper and darling Bella. Sweet crocheted flower.
ReplyDeleteI have both side of the family over. This year the gathering will be small, as one son's family is going to in-law. One brother and sister are going to their respective in-laws. So we will only have 10 today!
I prefer pecan pie, but made everyones favorite pumpkin *nice of me* hehe.
hugs...
Good morning and Happy Thanksgiving. Your dinner sounds like mine and yep, we will be "stuffed" afterwards. My favorite is my homemade dressing, and of course everyone is coming to our house for dinner (a big crowd), but I love it. :)
ReplyDeleteLove your Krafty card. She is adorable and that flower goes great with the card and the colors.
JoAnn
Love that you stamped on something other than white cardstock. Looks real nice on the brown/tan.
ReplyDeleteVery Nice.
Great card - but then ALL of your cards are so cute! We had fried turkey - can't beat it. Bless you for even thinking of tackling the crowds tomorrow! Good luck!
ReplyDeleteJust wanted to pop in and wish you and your family a Happy Turkey Day, hope it was a good one! I just love your blog, I smile everytime I see your cards!
ReplyDeleteWe had Tday at my house this year. My parents and brother came over. College son is home and his girlfriend came to visit, this is the first time we have met her, so of course, my Dad, embarrassed the heck out of my son!LOL Poor guy!
We live out in the country and have a small WalMart, my son and I are gonna try to get up and brave the crowd!! Good luck to you and your daughter!
Hope you have had fun shopping at such an ungodly hour ;-)
ReplyDeleteAnother precious beauty. You should frame them all, they shouldn't be used!
I love the lace, very cute and krafty.
ReplyDeleteThat's an Arcadian woman for sure.
ReplyDeleteKara
