Happy Bellarific Birthday to you!!!

Happy Bellarific Birthday to you.... Isn't she adorable?? This is Izzie has Balloons from Stamping Bella. She's one of the new images just released from Stamping Bella. I stamped her onto some Classic Crest CS and colored her with my Copics. I sponged a little chalk ink around the edges and stitched her onto some SU Basic Black CS that I punched with my Martha Stewart border punch. This DP is from GCD Studios. I picked it up last week on my RAID of Michael's paper aisle. I had never heard of this company before but Michael's had several paper collections from them. This too has that same great linen texture to it and is a nice weight as well. I punched the polka dot DP with the SU Scalloped border punch and matted it with some SU Basic Black that I punched as well. I adhered it onto the flower DP and stitched both onto the SU Basic Black card base. I tied on this pretty polka dot ribbon and finished with a bright yellow button in the middle. She looks like she's ready for a party!! Me too!! TGIF, the weekend's HERE!!! Woo-hoo!!!

Be sure to hop over to Bloggabella and check out all the "birthday" creations from the Bella Babes and the Sistahood too! Wanna join the Bellarific Friday fun for next week? The theme is a SKETCH! Yay! I SO LOVEEEEEE sketches. Here's the sketch from Shannanabella>>>>

That's Krafty Thursday! #12

Happy That's Krafty Thursday!! Ok, ya gotta LOVE this lady right?? Man, she looks so much like me in the morning, it's SCARY... literally!! I even have the same bunny slippers. Bwha-ha-ha-ha! I had been thinking of using Maude for a Valentine's card for awhile now and finally had a chance. Ya, I'm an odd bird, what can I say?

Ok, so I printed the sentiment onto the Classic Crest CS and then used my Stampa-ma-jig to line her up next to it. I colored her with my Copics and sponged some chalk ink around the edges. I matted the image with some SU Real Red CS and stitched both layers onto some white CS that I punched with my SU Scalloped border punch. This DP is from one of my new finds at Michael's last week. It's from K & Company's new Ka-Zoo line. Super cute papers in this collection. I'll be using it even after Valentine's Day I'm sure. The DP is matted with the SU Real Red, Classic Crest White and then stitched onto the SU Kraft card base. I tied on this pretty polka dot ribbon from Taylored Expressions and she's ready to start the day! After her coffee, that is. Now That's Krafty!! Be sure to leave a comment below and let me know what you think of her. Have a great Thursday!!

Be sure to stop back by tomorrow for Bellarific Friday. The theme this week is Birthday! Can't wait to see what you and the Sistah's have come up with. Wanna play? Head on over to Bloggabella for all the details. You have until this evening to submit your card.

Warm hugs!!

Smiley OMG, I LOVE this card! Not sure if it's the bright colors or just this SUPER cute image from Stamping Bella but whatever it is, I LOVE IT!! This is just one of those card that I just keep staring at. Smiley

Ok, so I stamped "Betty Bombshell" onto some SU Very Vanilla and colored her with my Copics. This DP is from Cosmo Cricket's Snorkle collection. I love these colors. This isn't a new collection either, so I have no idea why I don't already have it. Odd, vaywee odd!! I matted the DP with some Bazzil red I had in my stash and stitched around the edges and where the two DP's meet. I stamped the sentiment, also from Stamping Bella, onto the Very Vanilla CS and die cut it with my Nestie tag die. I matted the image with some of the same red CS but used dimensionals between the layers instead of stitching, and then tied on this pretty terracotta ribbon from Papertrey Ink to finish! That's it for me today, be sure to leave a comment below and tell me what you think of her. I hope you have a great day!!

Warm (((hugs))) from Florida!! Smiley

Patience my foot!!!

ROFL!!! This is one of my Dad's most favorite cartoons ever!! He even has the t-shirt!! When I saw this stamp over at Art Impressions, I knew I had to get it so I could make this card for his birthday. I really struggled with this layout though. I wanted the cloud background to be visible behind them but didn't want them just floating on a branch in the sky either. So I decided on adding the woodgrain DP on either side and I think that sorta grounded the image and I like the end result. I showed it to my hubby and he said, "take that dumb ribbon off!!" You see I listen to him real well!! Phhhhhfffftttt!! It's one of MY cards, therefore it MUST have ribbon!! He not know me vaywee well, do he?? So I stamped my image onto some SU Very Vanilla and colored with my Copics. I cut the image out with my circle Nesties and adhered it with a few dimensionals. The DP is from Cosmo Cricket and I matted it with some SU Chocolate Chip CS that I punched with my Martha Stewart border punch. The top DP is punched with my SU Scalloped border punch. Now I will give my hubby credit for the bones. He said I should add some bones to the side. Yeah, sometimes he gets it right!! So I ran and dug through my punches, found my little bone and punched two out. I added some shading and then TIED ON THIS CUTE LITTLE STRIPED RIBBON to finish!! LOL!! Okee dokee, that's it for me today. Be sure to leave a comment below and let me know what you think of my feathered friends. Have a SUPER Tuesday!

Just wanted to say....

.... Happy Monday!!! I hope you had a nice weekend. I did some stamping (of course!) and pretty much just relaxed. We went to a BBQ over at my parents', which is always fun, and I got to visit with my relatives. I am SO blessed, I really do have the BEST family evah!!

This little card is for my Uncle' s birthday. I had yet to ink up this cute little typewriter I got from Stamping Bella a little while back, so I thought it would make a perfect guy card. This DP is from a K & Company 4x6 paper pack I picked up at Michael's last week. I grabbed up like 5 or 6 paper packs while I was there (40% off all of them, helllloooo!) cuz' I was gettin' kinda low. Bwha-ha-ha-ha! You believe that, don'tcha?? Anyhoo, this pack and a few others I grabbed, have this great texture to them. It's almost like they're linen. Of course all are double sided, LOVE double sided DP!! Ok, so I stamped "just my type" onto some Classic Crest CS and colored with my Copics. Do you guys remember actually using a manual typewriter??? Hmmmmm??? Yip, me too!! Man, they were hard to type on!! Then came ELECTRIC ones!! Oooooooohhh, boy we thought that was the best thing since BUBBLEGUM!! Now, the old monstrosity sits in the back corner of our office collecting dust. Each time someone tries to toss it, the old gals (like me!) say, whoa, wait a minute, we may need that for something!! He-he!! Old habits die hard!! Ok, back to the card.... So I decided to add a table beneath the typewriter so it wouldn't be floating and stamped the "just wanted to say.." sentiment on the typewriter paper. This set comes with 5 sayings, so it's really a great multipurpose set to add to your collection. I matted the image with SU Basic Black and stitched around the edges. I used a few dimensionals between the individual layers for some depth and tied on this grosgrain stitched ribbon to finish. Ok, be sure to leave a comment below and let me know what you think. Have a GREAT Monday!!

This week's Bellarific Friday theme is birthday!! Isn't that a great theme? I always need birthday cards, don't you? You do!!?? Well then, come on and play along with us this week. Just send Emily your card by Thursday evening and you could even win some cool Bella Bucks just for playing. Head over to Bloggabella for all the details.

It's a Twinchies Bellarific Friday!

What's a Twinchie you ask??? Well, Twinchie Squares are made of museum quality matboard. They have a solid white core and are bright white which makes it well suited for many different mediums including rubber stamping, markers, colored pencil, watercolor paints, etc. It's really great for stamping on and gives a really neat dimensional look to the card. Inchies are 1" squares and Twinchies are 2" squares. Ok, so our Bellarific Friday challenge was to use Twinchies on a card. Well, I was STUMPED because I couldn't figure out what image to use since all of my Stamping Bella images were too big. Hmmmmm, what to do, what to do??? I finally decided on Stella has something to say (my all time favorite Stamping Bella image) and thought I could use the frame around her to my advantage. I masked the bottom edge of the Twinchie and stamped the image on top. Then I removed the mask and using a fine tipped waterproof pen, I finished the frame along the bottom edge to match the top and sides. Pretty clever huh?? See, sometimes my brain DOES work!! I colored Stella with my Copics and matted the Twinchie with some SU Chocolate Chip CS punched with my Marvy scalloped square. This DP is from My Minds Eye and I matted each piece with SU Chocolate Chip and stitched around the edges. The flower is from the punch outs in the DP collection and I added a button tied with twine on top. What, no ribbon??? OMG!! Yeah, I know, I was just about to go crazy not putting any on it but it was only because I couldn't find a place!! ROFL!! I added some brads to the right of the image and added a little punched tag to finish. Ain't she a cutie??? Okee dokee, be sure to leave a comment below and don't forget to hop over to Bloggabella and check out all the Bella Babes' creations using the Twinchies. I hope you have a great day and a SUPER weekend!

That's Krafty Thursday! #11

Yay!! That's Krafty Thursday's are back!! I SO love my Kraft paper!! Today is kind of a double occasion... it's That's Krafty Thursday but it's also my cousin Debbie's 50th birthday!!! And this is her birthday card. You're probably wondering why I didn't do something making fun of her age (which is SO me) but she's pretty UNHAPPY about the whole thing so I thought I'd better not rub it in. So I decided to harass her in a different way. She HATES flamingos!! ROFL!!! I ordered this stamp just for her birthday way back during the Fall sometime. I couldn't wait to ink it up in her honor!! Bwah-ha-ha-ha! I even went to a tourist store here in Florida and found her a flamingo bookmark to put inside too! Everybody needs a cousin like me, huh?

I stamped the image onto some Classic Crest CS and colored with my Copics. I added some Stickles to the sun and some Crystal Effects to her sunglasses. I matted the image onto some pink CS from my stash and stitched around the edges. I used my Papertrey Ink Polka Dot Basics stamp and embossed some pink polka dots onto the SU Kraft card base. I just LOVE this DP from Bella Blvd, with it's bright and cheery colors. I matted the DP with the same pink CS and used my SU scalloped border punch along the bottom edge. I tied on this polka dot ribbon from Stampin Up and that finishes up my card for today. Now That's Krafty! Happy 50th Birthday Debbie!!
Be sure to leave a comment below and let me know what you think. Have a great Thursday!

You were MADE for each other!

Acccckkkkkk!! Ok, now tell me this isn't the cutest darn robot couple you have EVER seen???? OMG!! This was one of those cards that I just sat and stared at when I was finished. Funny how some cards just click and others don't. I'm sure it's the same with you too, right? Well, I just received my "Diamond Plate" Cuttlebug embossing folder and HAD to test it out! So I pulled out some metallic silver paper from my paper scraps and ran it through. I was AMAZED!! Oh my, I think it looks just like a toolbox, don't you? Whoa!! Ok, so to finish it off, I added these cute little screw brads and matted it with some SU Basic Black CS. Ok, then I went searching for an image to go with my cute METAL piece and came across these cute little robots. That's it!! I had an anniversary card to make so this was PERFECT! It's my Aunt and Uncle's wedding anniversary soon so they should get a kick out of this. I stamped the image onto some Classic Crest CS and colored it with my Copics. I cut them out and matted them with my circle Nesties and adhered the matted image to the metal piece. This DP is from Fancy Pants' Rough and Tough collection. I fauxed zig-zag stitched around the edges and tied on this pretty orange ribbon to finish. Beep-beep!! HAVE A GR8 DAY!!

Hmmm, housework or knitting????

Duh, knitting of course!!! I bet you didn't know that about me now did ya? Yup, I love to knit! Of course I only do simple things like scarves and hats but it's a lot of fun and very relaxing... When I saw this little "Crafty Cuppie" stamp set over at Taylored Expressions, I thought, "that is SO me" and instantly fell in LOVE with it. One of those HAD TO HAVES!! You know how that is, right? There are 5 images in the set plus several sentiments. But if you're like me, the more sentiments the better. They must've heard me because there is also an additional set available called Crafty Expressions for even more cute sentiments to go with it! Well say no more!! ADD TO CART!!

I stamped my little Knitting Cuppie onto some Classic Crest CS, colored her with my Copics and added some Stickles to the cherry on top. I sponged some chalk ink around the edges and matted her with Island Mist Medium and Classic Red CS from my Valentine Key Ingredients Kit. This DP is from DCWV Farmer's Market collection. This is a really cute paper collection and what I like most about it is that it's Kraft colored paper on the reverse side of each piece. How cool is that? I followed the sketch from the Taylored Expressions Sketch Challenge #98 and used my Martha Stewart border punch along the top and bottom edge of the mat and then stitched around the edges. I stamped the sentiment from the Crafty Expressions set and added these little flowers that I punched out from one of the DP sheets. I added a few brads to the flower centers and tied on some pretty saddle stitched ribbon to finish. Be sure to leave a comment below and let me know what you think of her, okay? I hope you all have a SUPER DUPER Tuesday.

I stamped Eloise onto some SU Very Vanilla CS and colored her with my Copics. I sponged around the edges and adhered her to the card using several dimensionals. I added some Glamour Dust to the hearts in her basket for just a little sparkle. This DP is from Stampin' Up and the pink mats are actually the reverse side of the DP. I stitched around the edges and tied on this pretty pink saddle stitched ribbon to finish. Well that's it for me today. Short and sweet, huh? Be sure to leave a comment below and let me know what you think of her. I hope you all have a great day!

You're such a SWEETIE!!

Guess who this little gift set is for??? YOU!!! Yep, it's my "virtual" THANK YOU for all the sweet comments you leave me each day, and for just visiting my little hen house! *sigh* You guys are the BESTEST!!

This is my submission to the Taylored Expressions' challenge, to create a "food" themed project using the new January Key Ingredients Kit. Ooooooh, now you know I LOVEEE a good challenge, right? Ok, so I immediately grabbed one of Taylor's newest releases, "Sprinkled with Love" for my inspiration. Ahhhhh, me and SWEETS, a match made in heaven!! I decided on a pillow box full of candy and a matching card to go with it. Sounds yummy huh?

I started with the pillow box first. This was super easy and would be great for office gifts or teacher gifts too! Using the DP from the January Key Ingredients Kit, I punched the edges of a 2" wide strip of the pink and brown DP with my SU scalloped border punch and then adhered the cupcake paper on top. I wrapped it around the pillow box and adhered it in the back. Then I tied on this pretty aqua grosgrain ribbon from the kit and filled with my FAV candy, WHOPPERS!! Oh yeah!! Bought an extra box so I could sample, I mean keep my energy up, as I was working!! ROFL!! That's it for the box, super easy right?

This little cupcake stamp from the Sprinkled with Love set works perfectly with the January Key Ingredients Kit! Did I mention these kits are fabulous?? Everything coordinates perfectly together, so NO THINKING REQUIRED!! LOVEEE that!!

Pssst, wanna know a little secret????? Ok, here' s the scoop from the coop!! Effective Monday, January 18th the subscription prices for the monthly "key ingredient kits" will increase. But if you subscribe or renew before Monday, you can get them at the current rate. Even if you're already a subscriber, you can just extend your current subscription. But wait, it gets better!! If you subscribe or renew with the "6 month" subscription, you'll receive an additional kit! One that's not even offered in the TE store!! Woo-hoo!!! Who said us chicks don't discuss SERIOUS bizness in the hen house?? Pfffffftt!!
For more information on the kits visit the brand new Key Ingredients website.

Ok, now for the card details...
I started with the brown CS in the kit and scored for a top fold card. I added the pink and brown print DP on the bottom, then the cupcake DP above with a small piece of the brown CS that I punched with the scalloped border punch in between. Next, I embossed a polka dot border above the cupcake DP with some white embossing powder. I stamped the cupcake image onto the cream CS in the kit and colored with my Copics to match the cupcake on the DP. I added some Colorbox chalk ink to the edges and applied some dimensional pearls and Glamour Dust to make it look SUPER yummy! Using my Nesties, I cut the image out, as well as the mat from the aqua CS in the kit. I stamped the sentiment and cut it out freehand and adhered it under the aqua button. I added the matted image and the sentiment to the card base with a few dimensionals and there you have my cute little "food" themed set!! Pretty SUHWEET huh??? Literally!! Be sure to leave a comment below and let me know what you think of YOUR virtual thank you gift! *grin*

So I asked my hubby to come take a look at my card that I just finished and what does he say??? Wudya go and make a card for yourself for????? Ya, a real commedian he is, WHATEVER!! Smarty pants!!

Ok, I was sorta having Kraft withdrawal, so I decided I'd make a Kraft card anyway this week. Let's just call this That's Krafty Thursday Eve!! ROFL!! Ain't Stella a hoot? Man I love this gal!! I stamped Stella has her fix from Stamping Bella onto some Strathmore CS and colored her with my Copics. The card base is SU Kraft, of course, and I stitched on this great DP from Crate Paper. The baby blue mat for the DP is actually the reverse side of the polka dot paper. I stamped the sentiment, also from Stamping Bella onto some SU Kraft and matted it as well with the baby blue. I stitched around the edges of each piece and then I cut Stella out with an Exacto knife and added her on top with a few dimensionals. I finished with this great saddle stitched ribbon from Papertrey Ink tied in a BIG 'ol bow. Now That's Krafty!! Okee dokee, be sure to leave a comment below and I hope you all have a great Wednesday!

I just LOVE these little cupcakes flying in their balloon, don't you?? SUPER DUPER cute! This sweet image is from the Cuppie Love Scenes set from Taylored Expressions newest release.

I started by stamping my image onto some Strathmore CS, colored with my Copics and added some Colorbox chalk ink to blend the image panel with this great DP from My Minds Eye. I paper pieced the balloon and all the DP is stitched onto this GORGEOUS RED CS from the Valentine Key Ingredients Kit. The image is matted with the same CS and I used my SU scalloped border punch along the bottom edge and then stamped the sentiment with Versamark ink and applied white embossing powder on top. I applied Liquid Applique to the clouds around the image and heat set them for some extra cloud fluff! I finished with this great SU polka dot ribbon tied in a sweet bow and there they go.... up, up and away!! Be sure to leave a comment below and let me know what you think, k? Have a SUPER DUPER Tuesday!

Life is how you BAKE it!!

Bwah-ha-ha-ha!!! Ok, I was feelin' a little CRAZY when I made this card, so just chalk it up to me being up 'til 1:30AM!!! It's been SUPER cold here in Florida (really, no kidding!), so my hubby and I have been drinking lot's of coffee, hence me stayin' up 'til 1:30!!

Yep, I was a little "WIRED", what can I say?? It all started when I was searchin' for some DP to go with my little oven image and I came across this crazy chicken with a surprised look on his face, and I immediately thought of "SHAKE and BAKE!!" Remember those old commercials? "It's Shake and Bake, and I helped!" ROFL!! Ok, you youngsters probably have no idea what I'm talkin' about, but there used to be a Shake and Bake commercial where this little girl would say, "it's Shake and Bake... and I helped!" She had a Southern drawl like you wouldn't believe, so the word "helped" always sounded more like "haaailp't". Anyway, it was a hoot and this little chicken looks like he must've just heard the commercial too!! LOL!!

Ok, so I started by stamping my Bella's Daisy Oven from Stamping Bella onto some SU Very Vanilla CS and colored it with my Copics. I was trying to achieve the old Harvest Gold color for my oven. OMG!!! Do you guys remember those appliance colors??? Seriously, what were we thinking??? Harvest Gold, Coppertone Brown and Avocado Green, holy cow!! Ok - ok, gotta keep on track.... So I grabbed this DP from October Afternoon's Farm Fresh collection and went from there. Doesn't this fruit paper remind you of old kitchen wallpaper? LOL! I matted all but the chicken paper, with SU Real Red and the chicken paper is matted with some Bazzil brown. I used my SU scalloped border punch along the bottom edge and stitched around the edges of each piece. I even stitched on this cute lace trim to the bottom as well. I thought it had a vintage kitchen feel to it. I cut my image out with my circle Nesties and used my scalloped Nesties for the mat. I added some chalk ink around the edges of the image with the die in place and then added the sentiment and ribbon to finish!! Oh, I almost forgot to tell you what I wrote on the inside... "So a little extra "dough" sure wouldn't hurt!" LOL! I thought it would make a great "pick me up" card with a gift card inside. Ok, that's it for me today. I hope you got a good chuckle out of my CRAZY card. Be sure to leave a comment below and let me know what you think. Have a GREAT Monday!

This week's theme for Bellarific Friday is LOVEY DOVEY for Valentine's Day!! I just LOVE Valentine's Day!! *sigh* Come on and join us this Friday over at Stamping Bella. Hop on over to Bloggabella for all the details. Can't wait to see what you come up with!!!

Bellarific Friday is back!!

Yay!!! I just LOVEEE Bellarific Fridays... partly because I totally crave to use my Stamping Bella stamps, AND it's SO neat to see what everyone else has done with them too!! So today's theme was Back to School!! Hmmmmm, well you all know I don't have any little ones but that don't matter none, I can still play like I do!! LOL!! My sistah Babe, Joanne thought it might be nice to use the Green Bean Baby line as part of our Back to School theme, so I decided to ink up Betty the Bookworm. That's me for sure!! She's just the cutest thing! I used this DP from Cosmo Cricket's Girl Friday collection because I thought this pink notebook paper was perfect for my school theme. I stamped Betty onto some SU Very Vanilla cardstock and colored her with my Copics. I cut her out with my circle Nesties and matted her with some burgundy cardstock from my paper stash that I cut out with my scalloped Nesties. I matted a striped sheet from the collection with the SU Very Vanilla and then again with the burgundy and stitched around the edges. I used my SU scalloped border punch along the top edge and adhered to the card base with a few dimensionals. I stitched around the edges of the bottom DP as well and tied on this pretty burgundy grosgrain ribbon. Also in the collection, was a sheet with just alphabets, so I cut out the A, B and C and matted them each with some burgundy cardstock, then adhered them to the striped DP on the bottom to complete my "Back to School" theme. Man, I'm glad it's her and not me!! ROFL!! Don't forget to leave a comment below and let me know what you think of her. Oh, and be sure to check out my fellow sistahs over at Bloggabella for more "Back to School" inspiration. Have a great Friday and a super weekend!

Wait.... there's more.... there's also an additional kit called the Valentine Sweets Sampler that includes tons more goodies... like gems, stick pins, more ribbon, brads, felt buttons, some preeeeety SPAHKLY stuff, etc, etc. Seriously, it's a ton of stuff and it's NICE stuff too!! I was SO excited when I opened mine. It's like a never ending package...just keeps on giving!! Woo-hoo!!

Ok, so on to today's card. I started with the vanilla cardstock in the Valentine's KI Kit as my cardbase and layered on the red cardstock as my mat. The first layer of DP is stitched to that and then I zig-zag stitched the top DP onto it. Next, I stamped my image onto the vanilla cardstock in the Kit and colored it with my Copics. I paper pieced the stage curtains and the chair backs with the same DP from the first layer. I used a few dimensionals behind the valance so it would give the curtains some depth and added some Stickles to the little cupcake cherries. I matted the image with the red cardstock from the Kit and adhered it to the DP with a few dimensionals. I wanted to incorporate some of the chipboard pieces from the Kit as well, so I used one of the smaller hearts and colored it with some red chalk ink and then added red Stickles on top for some GLITTAH! I tied on the beautiful satin ribbon from the Kit and adhered the chipboard heart on top. To finish, I stamped the sentiment onto the same vanilla cardstock and cut it out with my SU Word Window punch and adhered it on top of the ribbon and there you have my first card as the new TE Guest Designer!! Ok, now ya gotta tell me how I did??? Be sure to leave a comment below, 'k?

Happy "Bark" Day!

Isn't this the cutest dog?? What's the matter, ain't ya ever seen a PINK dog before? Hellooooo, she's a girl dog, of course SHE'S PINK!! ROFL!! Actually, I think she's SUPER DUPER spiffy, sportin' that hot pink updo!! Can't ya just hear her little bark just a yappin'??? He-he!

Ok, so I started with this great DP from the DCWV Pet Stack collection. I just loved the pink and green stripes, not to mention the glitter brown stripes too!! So of course, I had to color my little pooch to match the pink, right?? This is Chichi from Stamping Bella's Ketto line. The Chichi set comes with a large and small pooch. This is the larger of the two. I also picked up the "Ketto Dog Accessories" as well. The dog dish and sentiment are from that set. I stamped Chichi and the dish onto some SU Very Vanilla CS and colored with my Copics. I stitched the image panel onto some SU Chocolate Chip CS and added these cute little brads in the corner. I punched a 1/4" hole on the right side of the panel and threaded this pretty saddle stitched ribbon from Papertrey Ink through and tied it in a cute little bow. I adhered the panel to the DP with a few dimensionals and I stitched the DP onto the SU Chocolate Chip cardbase. To finish, I matted the sentiment with some Chocolate Chip CS and popped it up with a few dimensionals as well. Okee dokee, that does it for me today. Be sure to leave a comment below and let me know what you think of her. Don't forget to stop in tomorrow (11:00AM EST) for my first TE Guest Designer post. I can hardly wait to show you!! That's Krafty Thursday will be postponed for the next two weeks but will return on the 21st at it's regularly scheduled time. Bwah-ha-ha-ha!! Have a great day!

wish BIG!!

LOL!! Ok, is this image a hoot or what? I just fell in love with this goofy fish when I saw it. If you take a minute and really look at this image it has some REALLY funny characteristics to it. I doubt you can see all the detail in the photo but the little worm has this crazy "get away from me" look to his face and the fish's smile just cracks me up. Even the little dog on the boat has this little question mark above his head like, "dude, look at the size of this fish!"

Ok, so this GREAT stamp is called Here Fishy Fishy, from Class Act. ROFL!! They have a lot of really great stamps. You have to check them out!

I started by stamping my image onto some SU Very Vanilla and colored it with my Copics to flow with this great DP from Cosmo Cricket's Nutmeg collection. The paper behind the image on top, is actually cloud paper which worked well for the sky and then this striped paper had this large green stripe that I used as my water. I colored the image to match the water so it would somewhat blend into the water and sky. I rounded the corners and matted it with some SU Chocolate Chip CS. The woodgrain paper is part of this collection as well and I matted it with some SU Dusty Durango CS that I punched with my new Martha Stewart border punch. This punch reminds me of fish scales so I thought it was perfect for this card. I printed this sentiment onto some SU Very Vanilla CS and matted it with some SU Dusty Durango that I punched with my Marvy scalloped square punch. I stitched the DP onto the mat of SU Chocolate Chip and then adhered it to the cardbase of SU Dusty Durango. To finish, I tied on the matching SU Dusty Durango polka dot ribbon and there you have my "Fishy-Fishy" card for today!! Leave a cluck below and tell me whatcha think of him, ok? You guy's comments always make my day!! Have a SUPER DUPER Tuesday!

Pssst!! Guess what??

I got another Christmas present that I didn't tell you about. Taylor from Taylored Expressions asked if I'd like to be a Guest Designer for the months of January and February. I was like a kid in a candy store, uh make that bakery!! I'm SO excited!! I feel like such a celebrity!! LOL!!

Here's to my New Year Addy-'tude!!

You go girl!! Martinis aren't really my thing but I sure can slurp down a few margaritas every now and then! I have to share this little story with you... my hubby took me to Red Lobster a few years ago on my birthday, and I thought I'd order a margarita since it was a special occasion and all. So as we're sitting there talking I notice my hubby's eyes open about the size of dinner plates. So I spin around to see what he's lookin' at and lo and behold is our server with my margarita. Seriously, it must have been the size of a BIRDBATH!! Everyone in the whole restaraunt was looking at it and of course we happen to be seated at one of those really small booths where only one person can sit on each side, (you know how small those tabletops are, right?) so it looked GINORMOUS when she set it down!! I've never been so embarassed in all my life!! If I could've fit under that table I would've!! Word to the wise - NEVER order a margarita at Red Lobster unless you wanna go swimming!!
Ok, onto my little card today. This is Addy-tude loves her tinis from Stamping Bella. Isn't she great? She's not gonna be on that barstool for long after throwing back all of those tinis!! LOL!

I stamped her onto some SU Very Vanilla CS and colored her with my Copics. I cut her out with my oval Nesties and added some Glamour Dust to her tinis, earings and flowers. I stamped the sentiment onto the same SU Very Vanilla CS and matted it with some grey CS I found in my stash. Oh, and the sentiment comes with this stamp, how cool is that? This DP is from October Afternoon and I matted it with the same grey CS as well. I stitched around the edges and tied on this pretty blue ribbon to finish. Ok, be sure to leave a comment below and let me know what you think of her. Hope you have a great day!

This week's Bellarific Friday theme is "Back to School". Wanna play along with all the sistahs? Hop on over to Bloggabella for all the details.

Happy New Year!!

Woo-hoo!! It's a birthday potty!! LOL!! I know, it's not a New Year's Day stamp but when I saw all the confetti I thought it was pretty close. Actually, this is my brother's birthday card. Fits him to a tee too!! ROFL!! Teach him to be mean to me!!! Hmmmph!!! Oh, and I have to share with you what I wrote inside... "Whoa, 52 years old! That's a real CRAPPER! Hope your day is a SMOOTHE one!" Bwah-ha-ha-ha-ha!!

Ok, so I started by stamping my image from Whipper Snapper onto some Classic Crest CS and colored with my Copics. This DP is from October Afternoon's Farm Fresh collection. I loved the bright cheery colors and I thought it was perfect for a birthday card and definitely not too girly. I matted the DP with some SU Basic Black CS and used my decorative "stamp" scissors around the edges of the middle piece. Then I stitched around the edges of each and tied on this cute blue ribbon to finish. Be sure to leave a comment below and let me know what you think.

I have nothing planned for today except to relax and maybe take a little nap. Sounds wonderful after such a busy month. I hope you have a wonderful New Year's Day and a great weekend as well!
