Hi there!! I know, it's Sunday and I usually don't post on Sunday's, but I have a rather full week ahead in the hen house so I thought I'd give you hens a little peek from my weekend crafting. You wouldn't know it by lookin' at it (at least I hope not!), but this is the result of a trashed card!! Yup, I have cards like that too! I dunno why that is but every now and then, I get finished with a card and then as I'm looking at it, I just can't stand it. So, that's where this card came in.... which btw, I LOVE now!! I actually salvaged the polka dot piece and ribbon from the original card and the rest went straight in the trash!! Anyhoo, momma hen is happy now!! LOL!! Ya know, if momma ain't happy, ain't nobody happy!!
This image is called "Red Poppies" from Stamping Bella. I stamped it with Dark Chocolate Hybrid Ink from PTI and colored it with my Copics. I liked the look of the brown ink against this DP as opposed to using my usual black. The DP is from My Minds Eye and I matted it with some SU Soft Suede. I stitched around the edges and tied this beautiful red grosgrain ribbon into a cute bubbly bow. To finish, I stamped the sentiment, which comes with "Gigawatt" from Stamping Bella, and punched it out with my Martha Stewart tag punch, then added a few white touches to the flower centers with my white gel pen. Ok, that's it for me today. Be sure to leave a cluck below and let me know whatcha think, k? I hope you enjoy the rest of your Sunday and I'll see ya back in the hen house tomorrow!! {{{hen hugs}}}

Very pretty, I love the vase and big red bow.
ReplyDeleteFlowers - I love flowers. These look fabulous - they just "pop" out of the paper! The center white spot is perfect. Who needs real ones, when these will last forever!
