Mornin' hens! Today is my Grandson Jaxon's 8 month birthday. Can you believe he's 8 months already? Wow, how time flies. He's starting to crawl now and talks up a storm! He's SO STINKIN' CUTE!! Yup, I'm a PROUD Grandmommy!! So here's the card I made him for his 8 month birthday. Now since this is the card for May, I was trying to incorporate flowers into it (you know, April showers bring May flowers..) but I can't make him a "girly" card with flowers, so I used this little gnome holding a pot of flowers instead. Ta-dah!
I just LOVE how this turned out. I can't explain it, but I'm in love with clean and simple cards lately. I love how the red pops off the white, and how the arrow and stitching highlights the number 8. Ok, so I showed this card to the DH and he said, "Whatcha gonna do when Jaxon turns 1?" Yeah-yeah, I'll cross that bridge when I get to it! Men!?! LOL! Okee dokee, well that's it for me today. I hope you hens have a FABULOUS Friday! {{{hen hugs}}}

ReplyDeleteLOL, your Husbands comment was so like something mine would say! Believe me there is ALWAYS an occasion to make a card to celebrate. 1st tooth, potty training (I did that for 2nd Grandson that too forever.) ;) And just plain old I LOVE you .
