Purple Onion Designs New Release & Giveaway!

Mornin' hens!  

Today I'm participating in the new release from Purple Onion Designs!  Stacey Yacula has done it again!  I'm in LOVE with this little bear.  He's so STINKIN' CUTE with his little nose pointing to the sky!  LOL!  I had been wanting to do a few patriotic cards with Memorial Day, and the 4th of July coming up, so Michele couldn't have had better timing when she asked if I wanted to play along with this new release.  So whatcha think?  I did pretty good, huh?  The photo doesn't do this card justice because the fireworks are SUPER sparkly in real life.

The night sky and ground were completed using distress inks.  Then I stamped and embossed the fireworks in the night sky with silver, gold, and red glitter embossing powders.  Next, I adhered Bubbly (Bear) onto the card with some foam tape.   Uh, ...did you check out that shadow?  Cool huh??   That was super easy, I just laid the bear face down and outlined him with a pencil.  Then I filled in the outline with a gray Copic marker.  Woot-woot!!
