Ink 'em if ya got 'em!
It's Bellarific Friday and today's theme is "Ink what ya haven't used". Ok, now that's sad isn't it? Who buys a stamp and doesn't use it?? Um, ME!!! Shoot, I've got so many stamps that haven't seen ink it's not funny. Ya know how that goes, right? You see it, you just HAVE to have it and you can't stand it until you do. Then you get it and for some strange reason you never seem to find the time to use it. What's up with that??? *snort*
So whatcha think of Stellarina?? SHUT UP! Ain't she GREAT?? Man I LOVE the Stella line from Stamping Bella... course you hens know that but I still have to tell ya again and again. Lookit her in her little tutu! Love her! I stamped her onto some SU Very Vanilla and colored her with my Copics. Oh, and check out this AWESOME DP wouldya!! LOVE IT!! It's from Jillibean Soup's Cabbage Stew collection. What great colors huh? I matted the DP with some SU Very Vanilla and SU Basic Black and stitched around the edges. Then I added some Glamour Dust to her wand and finished with this Scraplines sentiment which I think fits her to a tee!! MISS THANG!! Ohhh, I almost forgot... Isn't this ribbon to die for?? OMG, I found it at Stamp Simply Ribbon. Ok, gotta have more!!! If you haven't checked out Sharon's ribbon collection, you're in for a treat! Be sure to stop over at Bloggabella and check out all the Bella Babe's eye candy today, not to mention the sistahood. Uh, talkin' bout eye candy, shoo-weeeeee those sistahs are SMOKIN!!
Wanna play along with the Bella Babes next week? The Bellarific Friday theme for May 7th is May flowers. Use flower paper, flower image, flower WHATEVAH!! Email your card to Emily by Thursday evening and you could even win some cool Bella Bucks!! Can't wait to see what you come up with!

I'm a Krafty Chick winners!!!
Shuh-zaam!! OMG, this was the MOST fun EVER!! I was SO excited to see you hens participate in my little TKT challenge. You ALL were AWESOME!! Seriously, this was HARD!!
I liked ALL of your cards SO much! But as promised, I can only pick three...
So here are my That's Krafty Thursday TOP THREE!!
CONGRATULATIONS!!! YOU are the first That's Krafty Thursday KRAFTY CHICKS!!
You can click on each thumbnail above to visit each winner's blog. I'm sure they'd love to get a cluck or two from the hens! Stop by and give 'em a {{{hen hug}}}, k?
So onto my card for today..... This little image is from the Love is Sweet set from Taylored Expressions. I used the TESC 110 for this card and I really liked this sketch.
I pulled out this older DP from Crate Paper's Cowgirl collection which I absolutely LOVE. It goes SO well with Kraft CS don't ya think? I stamped the image onto some SU Very Vanilla and colored it with my Copics. I cut the image out with my circle Nestie and sponged a little chalk ink around the edges. (You hens know how to do dat now huh?? hehe!!) I matted the image with a large scallop circle Nestie cut from the same Kraft CS. I stitched around the edges of each square and then stitched the sentiment on top. Whew! That's a lot of stitchin'!! I tied on some natural twill, added a button with twine and finished with some red Stickles on the cherries. Now THAT'S KRAFTY!! Okee dokee, that's it for me today. Hope you've enjoyed my first little challenge and I hope to do it again real soon. Would you like to see it maybe every two weeks or just once a month? Leave a cluck below and let me know what you think. Have a GREAT THAT'S KRAFTY THURSDAY!!

...these are a few of my favorite things!
Happy Wednesday to ya!! WHAT, NO CARD??? Yeah I know, BUMMER right?? I'm sorry, but I had to do some rescheduling of my posts. Anyway, I thought I'd do something a little different today. I've had hens from all over contact me, (which btw I LOVE!), regarding my favorite "go to" products. So, that got me to thinking, maybe the other hens would find that information helpful as well. Whatcha think?? You know, there are just some things us CHICKS can't live without, right? LOL!! Ok, here goes!! (a link is provided to each product as well)
- Copic Sketch Markers (to know them is to LOVE them)
- Fiskars Rotary Paper Trimmer
- Adtech Dot Glue Runner (refillable, inexpensive, not messy and holds great! But be sure to get the DOT RUNNER and not the other one.)
- Score Tape (LOVE this stuff!)
- Momento Tuxedo Black Ink (you can begin coloring with Copics immediately)
- Spellbinders Nestabilities (Lg. Circle, Lg. Square, Lg. Rectangle, Lg. Scalloped Circle, Lg. Scalloped Square and Lg. Scalloped Rectangle)
- Saddle Stitched Ribbon (is there any other kind?)
- Card Stock - Stampin' Up Very Vanilla, Chocolate Chip, Basic Black, Real Red
- Cuttlebug (LOVE my BUG!)
- Score Pal (for a perfect fold every time)
- Designer Paper - Cosmo Cricket, October Afternoon, My Minds Eye
- Glamour Dust (beautiful spah'kle)
- Quickie Glue Pen (perfect for little areas and the perfect mate to Glamour Dust)
- Stampin' Up Dimensionals (wouldn't use any other kind)
- Stampin' Up Punches - Scalloped Edge Border, Scalloped Circle, Scalloped Oval, 1 3/8" Circle, Lg. Oval, Word Window, Ticket Corner
- Stampin' Up Grid Paper (can't live without this on my work surface + makes for a quick clean up too!)
- We R Memory Keepers Corner Chomper
- Inkssentianls Glossy Accents
- Colorbox Fluid Chalk Ink
- Stampin Up Craft & Paper Scissors, Paper Snips
- CutterBee Craft Knife (I got mine at WalMart)

There you have it! My creme de la creme of cardmaking supplies!! Now, as with anything, some crafters may have a difference of opinion, but these are my favorite products that I am NEVER without! I hope you find this list helpful. Have a great Wednesday! (((hen hugs}}}
Don't forget, tomorrow's the BIG day!!

Havin' one of THOSE daysss?
Whew!! I know I've had a few of those lately. Did I tell you my computer took a DUMP?? Just shoot me, right?? Honestly for the last two weeks I've been doing nothing but trying to get everything back to where it used to be. What a nightmare!! You have no idea how much you depend on little things to be where they should be. But if I can give you one little bit of advice, invest in an external hard drive!! OMG, I thank my daughter everyday for talking me into getting one. Yay!!
Ok, so onto today's card.... This is Little Emmy from Stamping Bella. Isn't she GREAT? How many times have you ever put on two different shoes??? What a hoot!! I have a friend I use to work with who has REALLY BIG feet so when she found a pair of shoes that fit and were comfortable, she would buy several colors of the same style. So one day she comes to work and low and behold she has one BLACK and one BLUE shoe on. Oh and it wasn't a dark blue either, BIG DIFFERENCE in color!! Man, I thought I'd bust a gut laughing at her. She was so embarassed!! Now I wouldn't have laughed so hard if we weren't REALLY good friends but I know she could have killed me. Oh yeah the card... so I stamped Emmy onto some SU Very Vanilla and colored her with my Copics. I stitched her onto some SU Night of Navy CS and adhered her to this FABULOUS DP from Jillibean Soup's Cabbage Stew collection. OMG, I just love the name of the line!! LOL!! I used my Martha Stewart border punch for the edge of the panel and finished by tying on a cute bubbly bow!! Ok, hope you hens have a SUPER DUPER Tuesday!!
Be sure to upload your card for the That's Krafty Thursday challenge here on my blog. See my April 22nd TKT post to upload your card using Mr. Linky. Can't wait to see your creations!!

Jackson's OVER THE TOP!
He-he!! Happy Monday to ya! Did ya have a good weekend? I sure hope so. We had such pretty weather here in Florida and the birthday party was GREAT!
Ok, so this is Jackson the Champion from Stamping Bella. My little nephew plays on a soccer team and I go watch him play every now and then. Although I have NO idea what's going on!! Duh, Aunt Jeanie's not too bright when it comes to soccer! Anyhoo, he LOVES playing that game, so when I saw this stamp at Stamping Bella, I knew I HAD to get it for his birthday. I'm definitely early but that's ok, I'd rather have it ready then worry at the last minute. So I stamped Jackson onto some SU Whisper White and colored him with my Copics. This is the first time I've used SU Whisper White and I must say, it has a WONDERFUL smooth feel to it. Will definitely be keeping this on hand! Ok, so I cut him out with my circle Nestie and sponged a little chalk ink around the edges. This DP is from Me and My BIG Ideas - Boy collection and I matted it with some PTI orange and Prism blue. To finish I tied this orange saddle stitched ribbon into a cute bubbly bow! Okee dokee lil' hens, that does it for me today.
Don't forget about my That's Krafty Thursday challenge I'm doing here on my blog.

Hey there lil' hens. Are ya enjoying your weekend? I'm headed off to a birthday party but I wanted to pop in the hen house first and let you know what this week's Catch the Bug challenge is. Oh yeah, we're gonna make you work for this one... LOL!! This week's challenge is a 2 parter!! The theme is April Showers, but the key is WATER!

Ok, so for my card I decided to jump outta the box and went with a beach theme! Woo-hoo! Perfect for a Florida girl huh? Isn't GUS a hoot? Man I LOVE this image. It's definitely one of my FAVORITES! I printed Gus onto some SU Very Vanilla CS and colored him with my Copics. I cut him out with my Deckled Nestie and sponged some chalk ink around the edges. This DP is from the K & Company "Summer Travel" collection. Don't ya love those fish lookin' at Gus? Bwah-ha-ha-ha! They're probably thinkin', "Whoa Dude, put some clothes on!"
I printed the sentiment and punched it out with my circle punch and matted it with the SU Soft Suede. The card base is SU Soft Suede as well and I finished by adding some Glossy Accents to Gus' glasses and then tied this yellow saddle stitched ribbon into a cute bubbly bow! Ok, are ya ready to give it a try?? Come on and play along.... Who knows, you might even win some FREE images from Bugaboo Stamps!! Woo-hoo! Can't beat that!! Be sure to check out all the details over at the Catch the Bug Challenge blog. Have a great weekend! {{{hen hugs}}}

It's a Bellarific Mother's Day!
Hey hens.... ya'll know what today is? It's Mother's Day at Bloggabella!! Yup, the Bellarific Friday theme this week was Mother's Day!! Ya know, Mother's Day is only a couple weeks away!! I haven't even bought my Mom's present!! Eeeeek!! Gotta get to work on that ASAP! Ok, so whatcha think of my card? Ain't I BRILLIANT?? Nuttin' like tootin' yer own horn, huh?? LOL!!
This is "billboardabella" from Stamping Bella. I just LOVE those striped pants! Now this stamp comes with SIX sentiments, but did I use one?? NOPE, I decided I wanted her billboard to say "Happy Mother's Day!" instead. Hehe!! Ok, so I started by stamping her onto some SU Very Vanilla CS and colored her with my Copics. I used my Signo Uni-Ball white pen to write the sentiment on the billboard and then stitched the image onto some SU Chocolate Chip CS. This DP is from the SEI Jocelyn collection and I stitched it to the cardbase of SU Chocolate Chip as well. I added the chocolate brads on the bottom and finished with this pretty pale yellow ribbon tied in a cute bubbly bow!! She's purty, huh???
Be sure to leave a cluck below and let me know whatcha think, k? Hope you hens all have a great Friday and I'll see ya back in the coop tomorrow! Oh, and don't forget to check out all the Bella Babe's Mother's Day cards over at Bloggabella too! I know they've got some doozies to show ya!

That's Krafty Thursday #23
Hey lil' hens!!! Thank you ALL SO MUCH for the super suh-weet comments I received on my first tutorial yesterday. You hens are the BEST ever!! Mwah!!
Well, today is Thursday and that means...... yup - it's That's Krafty Thursday!! Whoooppeee! So my good friend Rachel mentioned to me several weeks ago that she'd like to play along with That's Krafty Thursday!! Well, that got me to thinking, maybe other hens would like to play along too!! Waddaya think??? Wanna play??? OMG, this sounds like so much fun!! The hens and me all playing TKT in the hen house!! Snort!!
Ok, so here's the dealeo.... make a card using any 'ol stamp you wanna, but here's the most important part - you HAVE to use Kraft cardstock somewhere on your card, k? Then, upload your card below using Mr. Linky by next Wednesday evening, and I'll pick my top three Krafty favorites and post a thumbnail of each on my blog the following Thursday. I'll even give the That's Krafty Thursday Top Three a badge to post on your blog so you can show the world you're a "Krafty Chick!" LOL!! Sound like fun??
I'm SO excited!! If all goes well and we get a good turn out, I'll try to do this each month, ok?
Now for today's card... Today's TKT card uses Grillafella from Stamping Bella. Isn't he the cutest? I love his cute buz cut!! Ya think all that food is for him??? Would be for me if I was grillin', that's for sure. I stamped him onto some SU Very Vanilla and colored him with my Copics. I matted this DP from Cosmo Cricket's Material Girl collection onto some SU Very Vanilla and then stitched them to the card base of, none other than, SU Kraft CS. I finished by tying the striped grosgrain ribbon into a cute bubbly bow along the vertical panel for a little different look. Simple, but oh so cute! Now That's Krafty! Perfect guy card, don't ya think? Be sure to leave a cluck below and let me know whatcha think, k? {{{hen hugs}}}

New Crafter's Workshop at Taylored Expressions
Hey there!! Taylored Expressions is hosting a blog hop today to showcase the new Crafter's Workshop stencils now available in the Taylored Expressions store! You'll have the opportunity to see a few of the many opportunities for creativity in using these fun stencils as you visit each of the Baker's Dozen DT member's blogs.
One super cool feature I liked right off the bat was the size! These plastic templates are 6x6, so that makes them large enough to cover a whole card if you wanted, without having to piece the design together. You can use them for all sorts of things like sponging, chalking, stippling, etc., but for my card today, I chose to use the template with a "Direct to Paper" technique, to create the checkered pattern on the horizontal border. The template I used is the "Kasbah" design. I applied Versamark ink and then embossed the design with black embossing powder. Super simple and WOW, what a great look! Couldn't be easier to use either. I could also see using them with the colored mists too! Ooooh, wouldn't that be pretty?? I used some SU Soft Suede as my card base and added some DP from Cosmo Cricket's Garden Variety collection. I decided to use this image from the Let's Do Coffee set, also from the TE Store. Can't seem to get enuf' of this set!! Love it! Course, I LUV coffee, so that might have somethin' to do with it!! So anyway, I stamped my image onto some SU Very Vanilla CS and colored it with my Copics. I matted the DP and image with some SU Basic Black CS and I finished up by tying this pretty black saddle stitched ribbon into a cute bubbly bow!! Sniff-sniff... I'm smellin' my coffeeeeeee.... Whooopeeeee!
Be sure to leave a cluck below and let me know what ya think, k? Have a great day and don't forget to stop by the rest of the Baker's Dozen DT and check out what they've done with their templates.

WHO loves you??
Hey there! Happy Monday to ya!! Hope ya'll had a GREAT weekend! It rained just about all weekend here in Florida.... now most would say BUMMER to that, but not me - I LOVED it!! I just LOVE it when it rains. April showers, huh? Well, I got a little stamping done over the weekend and this is one of 'em! I stamped my little "Cuddly Owlies" from Stamping Bella onto some SU Very Vanilla and colored them with my Copics. I cut them out with my oval Nesties and then matted them with my scalloped oval Nesties. This brown CS is some Bazzil Bling that I've had for awhile. It has the prettiest sheen to it. Oh, and this is a new paper pack from SEI called Jocelyn. Well, it may not be new but it's new to me! LOL!! I like the pearl sheen to some of the papers. Very cool! Ok, so I finished the card up by tying this brown saddle stitched ribbon into a cute bubbly bow. Ok, be sure to leave a cluck below and let me know what ya think. Hope you all have a great day, even if it IS Monday! *sigh* {{{hen hugs}}}

You're an A+ in my books!
Hey little chickadees!! Just popped in for a bit before I head off to church! I wanted to share this cute little card I whipped up using the new set "Make the Grade" from Taylored Expressions. I really LOVE the colors in this card. Well you know me and Kraft.... say no more huh? I used the DCWV paper pack "hittin the books". I'm really gettin' my use outta this paper pack. I stamped the teacher's desk first onto some SU Very Vanilla CS and colored it with my Copics. Then using my Stamp-a-ma-jig, I stamped the owl on top of the desk. I also stamped him a second time and colored him with my Copics and cut him out, so I could pop him up for a little 3D look. Super cute, huh? I also embossed the letter A onto the chalkboard with some white embossing powder. I like the look of that! It looks like chalk on that green board doesn't' it? Ok, now I'm wondering, I'm sure my chalkboards were green in school, right? Hmmmph, maybe I'm dreaming. Anyhoo, I matted the image with some SU Basic Black CS and stitched around the edges. To finish, I tied this black saddle stitched ribbon into a cute bubbly bow! Be sure to leave a cluck below and let me know what ya think of him, k? It's Release Day at StampingBella.com!
Woo-hoo!! It's release day!! Ooooooh, wait til you see the new images in this release!!! They're gonna knock your socks off!! I've already had the pleasure of showing you the Cherry Blossom tree on Wednesday, but here's another FABBY image from today's release at Stamping Bella. This little sweetie is from the Lulu Collection. Would you check out that piece of cake??? Now that's MY kinda slice!! Whoa!!! LOL!!
I stamped my image onto some SU Very Vanilla CS and colored her with my Copics. I cut her out with my circle Nestie and sponged some chalk ink around the edges. Next, to make the frosting look really yummy, I added some dimensional pearls in Expresso, and then added some Stickles to the candle flames and flowers. This DP is from My Minds Eye and I rounded the bottom corners with my WeRMemory Keepers Corner Chomper. I stamped the sentiment, also from Stamping Bella, onto the bottom left side and finished with this polka dot ribbon (which I think goes PERFECT with this DP) tied into a cute bubbly bow with a button on top! Whatcha think? Be sure to leave a cluck below and let me know ok? Don't forget to check out all the Bella Babe's posts using today's new images over at Bloggabella.
Next week's Bellarific Friday theme is Mother's Day! OMG, it'll be here before ya know it!! I gotta get busy - busy - busy!!! Have a wonderful weekend! {{{hen hugs}}}

Ok, so I printed my little bear onto some SU Very Vanilla CS and colored him with my Copics. I added some Glamour Dust to his wings and flower and then cut him out with my Nestie die. I sponged some chalk ink around the edges and added a few mini brads to the corners. This DP is from My Minds Eye Quite Contrary collection and I zig zag stitched it to a coordinating piece and then straight stitched that to the SU Chocolate Chip card base. To finished I tied some purty yellow saddle stitched ribbon into a cute bubbly bow and added a button with twine on top! Be sure to leave a cluck below and let me know what ya think of him, k? April Key Ingredients Challenge
Today's TE Key Ingredients Kit challenge was to SEW on your card AND to create a card in anything other than the usual A2 size. Pffft, that's a GOOD one for me, huh? Me LOVEEE easy peasy!!
I decided to use my Crafty Cuppie set and work that into this sewing theme as well. I REALLY loved the kit this month. Speaking of kits, have you subscribed yet??? Wow, this is such a great deal for not only the beginner, but for the advanced crafter as well. The kits include enough supplies for 16 cards and they even come with a FREE plastic storage case! But that's not all, the TE Store will also give you a 10% discount on any order for additional products placed between the 10th and the 13th of the month to be shipped with your subscription kit. Now what hen doesn't love a DISCOUNT?? Bwaaaaakkkk!!
Ok, so I decided to stamp my image onto some Choice Buttercream CS and colored her with my Copics. I sponged some chalk ink around the edges and matted the image with the red CS in the kit. The DP in the kit is from Cosmo Cricket's Material Girl collection and boy oh boy, do I LOVE this collection! I matted the DP with the same red CS and zig zag stitched around the edges. To finish, I printed the sentiment and attached it the the bottom with a button and twine and even colored the chipboard scissors for a few more sewing goodies!! Isn't she SEW cute!! Ok, be sure to leave a cluck below and let me know what ya think, k? Don't forget to check out the rest of the Baker's Dozen participating in this challenge too!! {{{hen hugs}}} Supplies:

It's TAX Day & TKT #22 too!
Isn't this Nurse Margaret the PERFECT image for TAX DAY??? Bwah-ha-ha-ha-ha! Yup, she oughta be working for the IRS with her gloved hand, huh? Uh, can ya tell I have to PAY!!! Pffft!
Hey, it's That's Kraft Thursday!! Woo-hoo! At least that's one bright spot on this April 15th!! Hmmmph! Ok, so I printed Nurse Margaret from Bugaboo Stamps onto some Strathmore Bristol CS and colored her with my Copics. I cut the image out with my deckle Nestie and sponged around the edges with some chalk ink. This DP is from a new paper pad I picked up at Michaels over the weekend from DejaViews. I really like the fun bright colors in it too. I matted the DP with some SU Real Red CS and rounded the corners with my WeRMemory Keepers Corner Chomper. I also picked up this new EK Success border punch that I just HAD to use on the horizontal piece. Next, I printed the sentiment and punched it out with my circle punches and attached it to the punched border with a brad. To finish, I tied this great red saddle stitched ribbon into a cute bubbly bow... now That's Krafty!! Be sure to leave a cluck below and let me know what you think, k? Have a great day! {{{hen hugs}}}

Stamping Bella Sneak Peek Preview
Are ya excited??? Stamping Bella is getting ready for a new release on Friday!! OMG, can ya smell the new rubbah?? I have the delightful pleasure of showing you one of the new images being released this Friday. So watcha think? I really like it. I know the picture doesn't pick it up, but seriously, it's covered in glitter!! It's so spah-klee!! LOL!!
Ok, so I stamped my image onto some Stratmore Bristol smooth CS and colored it with my Copics. I added the Glamour Dust and then matted the image with some SU Kraft and stitched around the edges. This DP is from Basic Grey's Sugared collection which I think works perfectly with this image since it is a Cherry Blossom tree. Ya know, I've never seen a real cherry blossom tree in full bloom!! Hmmmm, note to self - add to RETIRED "to do" list!! Ok, so to finish I wanted to keep this card fairly simple so I used a thin gingham ribbon and threaded it through a small hole I punched in the image and tied it in a small bow. I think this would make a GREAT card for just about any occasion don't you? It's good to have a card like this around for those "OMG - gotta make a card" moments. Be sure to leave a cluck below and let me know what you think, ok? Don't forget this week's theme for Bellarific Friday is FREE FORM. Be sure to check out all the details over at Bloggabella. Let's see what AWESOME projects da hens got up their sleeves, uh I mean wings!! LOL!! {{{hen hugs}}}

It's NEW release Tuesday at Bugaboo!!
I'm this OLD cuz mornings just SUCK the life outta me!!
ROFL!!! OMG, is she a hoot or what!! As soon as I saw this image as one of Jodie's new releases, I fell out laughing... Man, I LOVE her humor! Ya'll know me don't ya?
Gotta have my "bustagut" fix, or I'd be poutin' all week. LOL!! Ok, be sure to pop in over at Bugaboo Stamps and browze through ALL of Jodie's digitals. Uh, but don't say I didn't warn ya - you're gonna be HOOKED!! Seriously, I can't get enough of 'em!! Shhhhh, don't tell my DH! hehe!
Ok, so I printed my image onto some Strathmore Bristol smooth CS and colored her with my Copics. Now, it just wouldn't be right if she didn't have some shine on those RED lips so I added some glaze with my clear glaze pen and then of course, I added some Glossy Accents to her glasses. She looks so STINKIN cute IRL! This DP is from Bella Blvd and I LOVE the bright fun colors in the polka dots and stripes. Me LOVEEEE polka dots. *sigh* I matted the DP with some white CS and then stitched it to the SU Chocolate Chip cardbase. I also used my Fiskars border punch along the bottom edge of the Chocolate Chip mat behind the striped DP too. To finish, I added the sentiment and tied this brown polka dot ribbon into a cute bubbly bow! Okee dokee lil' hens, I sure hope you all have a SUPER DUPER Tuesday and be sure to leave a cluck below and let me know what you think of her, ok?

Meet Poppy Bittybloom...
Isn't she adorable?? I made this card for Mother's Day which BTW is quickly approaching... Geez, where does the time go, huh? The inside reads: "If mothers were flowers, I'd pick YOU!" Doesn't that go perfectly with this image? Yeah, I thought so too!
Ok, so I stamped Poppy Bittybloom from Stamping Bella onto some Classic Crest Solar White CS and colored her with my Copics. I used my circle Nestie to cut her out with and, with the die in place, sponged some chalk ink around the edges. I paper pieced her dress with this great DP from DCWV's Citrus stack. Lots of oranges, yellows and reds in this stack, oh and tons of glittered paper too! Just screams FLORIDA to me, so I guess that means it's PERFECT for this little FLORIDA gal!! LOL!! Actually, all the orange trees are FULL of blossoms right now, and the smell is incredible. Orange blossoms have the most sweetest smell ever!! I just LOVE it!! Ahhhhh.... Ok-ok, back to my card.... The mat is punched with my EK Success border punch and I stitched around all the edges. I used my NEW Spellbinders BIG scalloped circle behind the image and I LOVE this look. Just kinda brings all the flower elements together, doesn't it? To finish, I tied this natural colored twill ribbon into a cute bubbly bow! Ok, be sure to leave a cluck below and let me know what you think of her, k? Have a wonderful Monday!!

Catch the Bug Challenge & Blog Hop!
Gooooood Saturday mornin' lil' hens!!! Ready for some fun in the coop today? If ya came here from Cammy's blog, then yer flyin' straight as an arrow, but if you've just happened to stop by today, be sure to start at the beginning of the hop >>>HERE<<<< so you don't miss any of the great eye candy. This week's Catch the Bug Challenge theme is BUG. Your image doesn't necessarily have to be a bug but your project must contain a bug somewhere on it. I used yesterday's Friday Freebie from Bugaboo Stamps to make my card which works perfectly for this challenge!!
To begin with, I printed my image onto some SU Very Vanilla CS and colored it with my Copics. I matted the image with SU Real Red and stitched around the edges of each layer. This DP is from Cosmo Cricket's Garden Variety pack and I tied on the pretty red striped ribbon to finish. Ain't she cute?? I just LOVEEEE how this turned out. Now, be sure to leave a cluck (comment) below cuz one lucky hen will win a FREE image from Bugaboo Stamps just for leaving a cluck!! Awwwwkkkk!! Oh, but that's not all my lil' feathered friends... As you fly along this bug hop, you will be letter hunting too! LOL!! Now, not every blog will have a letter, so look carefully for them. Once you've unscrambled all the letters, email Rae Anne with the phrase and you'll be entered in another random drawing to win another FREE image. Whoa!!!
Ok, that's it for me today. C, I told you you were gonna have fun!! Don't forget to submit your BUG card before the Catch the Bug Challenge closes and you just might win 8 (yup, 8!) FREE images. Woo-hoo!! I can't wait to see your entries.

It's a beautiful day in this neighborhood....
... a beautiful day for a neighbor, Would you be mine?? Could you be mine??? LOL!!
Ok, does anyone remember Mr. Rogers? He's the only man I know that wears SWEATERS!! I think they're purty but my DH won't get anywhere near one!! Like they got cooties or sumthin! Pffft!
So today's FRIDAY... ya'll know what that means!!! Yup, it's Bellarific Friday at Bloggabella. Today's theme was a sketch by our own Danabella. That Dana's such a SUH-WEETIE!! She keeps all us Bella Babes in check!! Uh, dat's a lot of checks too!!
I decided to flip Dana's sketch and do a horizontal fold instead because I just HAD to ink up this cute stamp "Happy Neighborhood" from Stamping Bella. I needed a card for someone who just sold their house so I thought this would work perfectly!! Yay!! I stamped my image onto some Classic Crest CS and colored it with my Copics. I added some Glossy Accents to the upstairs window and sponged a little chalk ink around the edges. I matted it with SU Soft Suede and again with Classic Crest white and then stitched around the edges. This DP is from K & Co Summer Travel pack and I stitched it to the SU Soft Suede card base. I embossed another piece of SU Soft Suede and placed it to the left of the image and added the sun to complete the elements in the sketch. I finished by adding some Glamour Dust to the sun and I hand wrote the word SOLD on a scrap piece of paper and added it to the front yard. I just LOVE it! Be sure to leave a cluck below and let me know what you think. Don't forget to check out all the sistahood and Bella Babes over at Bloggabella for some great ideas using Dana's sketch.
Just a reminder for all of my lil' hens up north, Stamping Bella will have a booth at Scrapfest in Kitchener, Ontario on April 16-17. For more information click here> http://www.scrapfest.ca/
Next week's Bellarific Friday theme is FREE FORM!! Whoooooeeeeeee!!! LOVEEEEE FREE FORM FRIDAY! Hope you hens have a great day and I'll see ya back in the coop tomorrow, k?

It's the TE Release Day & TKT #21 too!
Whoa, that's a LOT of T's.... Happy That's Krafty Thursday lil' hens!! Today is release day at Taylored Expressions. There are 5 new sets being released today and 3 new card kits too! I'll be showing the last of the 5 sets today along with some ideas using one of the new card kits.
For today's project I used the set called "Let's Do Coffee". I'm SO lovin' this set cuz I'm such a coffee fanatic, it's not funny!! That's so weird too, because until I was in my mid 30's, I wouldn't touch the stuff. Then a friend of mine took me to Dunkin Donuts and that was all she wrote!!! LOL!!
I bought this cup at Hobby Lobby last month and when I saw this new set, I knew I had to use it with it. I stamped Tena onto some SU Kraft CS that I had cut the same size as the insert. I colored her with my Copics and cut a small strip of SU Basic Black CS that I punched with my SU scalloped border punch to place along the top edge. Kinda looks like she's under an awning doesn't it? I made a matching tag with another stamp in the set and tied it onto the cup with some raffia. I gave this to my daughter and she was thrilled with it. Ain't I a good momma hen?
Ok, now for the card kit. This card kit features the Cosmo Cricket Early Bird collection, which I absolutely LOVE! I incorporated the "Let's Do Coffee" stamp set to make a few Thank You cards. You can NEVER have too many of those, right? The card kit includes:
Is that a ton of stuff or what?? And here's the shocker... they're ONLY $14.95. SHUT UP!! I'd pay that for just the BOX!! This box is so STINKIN cool!! I've gotta get a few of these just to have on hand. It was soooo easy to decorate too! I used my MS lace border punch down the center and punched out the word CARDS with my SU oval punch for the front label. I'm LOVIN' this box!! Ok, so I made these three cards with only the supplies that came with the kit. Now even though I've only shown you three, there are enough supplies to make 10!
Wouldn't this make a GREAT gift idea too! Once for a wedding shower, I made the bride two dozen thank you cards in her wedding colors to send out to everyone for their shower gifts. I wrapped it all in a basket and included a nice pen and even put a couple of books of stamps in there too! Honestly, she flipped over it!! I was so pleased she liked it. Now, after seeing this box, I wish I would have had one of these back then. Ok, that does it for me today. I hope you've enjoyed all the sneak peek previews this week and be sure to let me know how I did, k? Don't forget to check out the rest of the Baker's Dozen too! Have a great day! {{{hen hugs}}}

Howdy hens!! Welcome to Day #2 of the Taylored Expressions sneak peeks. Today I will be featuring two new sets PLUS a new A La Carte image. The two sets are "Make the Grade" and "Extra Credit". Did you hens know that Teacher Appreciation Week is May 2nd - May 8th? Gotta get those little appreciation gifts ready so you can show your little chick's teacher how much they mean to you. Teachers really are REMARKABLE, aren't they? So this year, show 'em some love, k? I started by stamping my image onto some SU Natural Ivory CS and colored it with my Copics. I decided to add some siding to the school house, so I drew little black lines with a fine tip pen to resemble boards. Cool huh? I stitched the image onto some SU Basic Black CS and popped the image up with a few dimensionals. This DP is from DCWV's Hittin the Books collection and I embossed the little A+ on the chalkboard with some white embossing powder. To finish, I tied this striped ribbon into a cute bubbly bow!
For card #2, I used the A La Carte Cuppie image and the Extra Credit set for the sentiment. I stamped the image onto some SU Very Vanilla and colored him with my Copics. Of course I added some Glossy Accents to the Teach's glasses. Hehe! I cut the image out with my circle Nesties, sponged some chalk ink around the edges and then I matted it with the SU Basic Black. This DP is from October Afternoon's Report Card collection and I thought the alphabet paper was just perfect!! I matted the DP with the SU Basic Black CS and used my SU scalloped border punch along the bottom edge. To finish, I tied this twill tape into a cute bubbly bow and added the bright red button tied with some black embroidery floss. The sentiment is "You're an Awesome Teacher" but I decided to only ink up the "You're Awesome" part. Just another way you can use this set. I thought it might be a good card for a little chick who did well in school! Ok, leave a cluck below and let me know what you think, k? Be sure to check out the rest of the Baker's Dozen for some more awesome ideas using these sets. I'm sure they're gonna WOW you! {{{hen hugs}}}

TE Sneak Peek Day 1!
Good morning little hens. Are you ready for this month's Taylored Expressions' sneak peeks?? Oooooh, have I got some GOOOOOD stuff for you.... Today is Day 1 of the sneak peek series and I'll be featuring two of the new sets being released on Thursday, April 8th. The sets being featured today are "CreativiTEA" and "Miniature Motifs". I've used both sets on each card. The CreativiTEA set is VERY soft and GIRLY. This set would make such pretty Mother's Day cards, don't ya think?
Here is my first card I made with the sets. I wanted to use the little teapot with the pretty designs on it, so I stamped the teapot in Olive Pastel Colorbox Chalk Ink and colored it with my Prismacolor pencils. The outline around the image piece is the label stamp also included in this set. This label stamp was sized to fit perfectly with Spellbinders Labels 9 dies. I personally don't have this Spellbinders set, so I cut mine out by hand. But as you can see, it turned out fine and it was super easy to cut out. The DP I used is from GCD Cloisonne' collection and I stitched it to some pink CS I had in my stash. The bottom portion of the card is stamped with the coordinating stamp set called "Miniature Motifs". The set includes 4 small background images perfect for ATC, gift cards, or you can use them as I did here. I stamped the sentiment and tied on this pretty satin ribbon to finish. Suh-weet huh?
For my second card, I decided to use the little scalloped square motif in the "CreativiTEA" set and stamped the sentiment inside. I colored the image with my Copics. I matted the image with some SU Soft Suede CS and used a few dimensionals to pop it up off the DP. This DP if from a small DCWV paper pack called The Linen Closet. Very soft patterns in this pack. I decided to stamp one of the background images from the coordinating "Miniature Motifs" set onto the SU Soft Suede and made a vertical panel that really makes the image stand out. I stitched around the edges of the panel and DP and finished with this pretty aqua ribbon and a cute little wire butterfly below. I just love the delicate look of both of these, don't you? Leave a cluck below and let me know what you think of them ok? Be sure to stop back by the coop tomorrow for sneak peek #2. In the mean time, fly on over to the rest of the Baker's Dozen and see what other ideas they've come up with using these two sets. Have a great day! {{{hen hugs}}}

The Bigger the Better!!
You work it girl! Ain't that hat a hoot? Hey, when ya got it - FLAUNT it!
TODAY is new release Tuesday at Bugaboo Stamps and Jodie has come up with even more AWESOME images!! Seriously, I have NO idea how she does it, but keep'em coming girl. I'm LOVIN' every one! Now of course ya'll know, Stella is my FAVORITE. I just love little 'ol Ms. Sassy Pants! LOL! I think I could color her ALL day long... I just LOVE her SO stinkin' much!
Ok, so I started by printing her onto some Classic Crest Solar White CS and colored her with my Copics. This DP is from My Minds Eye Quite Contrary collection (yummy huh?) and I matted it with some SU Basic Black CS and stitched around all the edges. I also used my Fiskars Apron Lace border punch on the left side of the second mat and added some black mini brads to the bottom left corner. To finish, I HAD to add some sparkling blue eyeshadow so she'd look all "dolled up" and then I tied this red saddle stitched ribbon into a cute little bow! She's ready to go OUT ON THE TOWN!! Look out Minnie Pearl, here comes Stella!! LOL!! If ya like this image, be sure to stop by Bugaboo Stamps and check out ALL the great images while you're there. I bet you won't be able to leave without buying a TON, just like me! *snort* Ok, be sure to leave a cluck below and let me know what you think of her, k?

A drink a day...
Hehe!! Ya gotta LOVE Stella!! She's such a mess, ain't she??? Look at her all plopped down in her Manhattan!! LOL!! I love coloring her. Although, some parts of her are a STAPLE, like her AWESOME red lips!! I mean, hellloooooo??? She HAS to have red lips, right?
So I made this card for my aunt's friend who LOVES Manhattans!! My aunt asked me to make her a Stella card for her birthday!! I think she turned out perfect, don't you? I started by stamping "Stella with an olive on top" from Stamping Bella onto some Stampin Up Very Vanilla CS and colored her with my Copics. I added some Glamour Dust to her drink, star and crown and sponged a little chalk ink around the edges. This DP is a new paper pack I picked up at Michael's last week from K&Company called Summer Travel. Such pretty bright colors in it too! Ahhhhh, got my paper fix for the week!! I added the sentiment to the bottom left corner and stitched the DP onto some SU Soft Suede. I used my SU scalloped border punch on the vertical panel and I added this pretty lace trim on top. I finished up with some saddle stitched ribbon tied in a cute bubbly bow! Wuv her!! Ok, be sure to leave a cluck below and let me know what you think, k? {{{hen hugs}}}

Bakin' up some birthday wishes...
Now isn't this little turtle just the cutest?? This is "Turtle Tots - Baker" from Stamping Bella. I just love how she turned out. This is the first Turtle Tots I've added to my Stamping Bella collection but I can tell you right now, she won't be alone for long. Gotta get MORE!! LOL!! I started by stamping her onto some SU Very Vanilla CS and colored her with my Copics. I cut her out and matted her with some SU Real Red and then matted her again with the SU Very Vanilla. I used my Super Mega scalloped oval punch to round the bottom of the mat and then adhered the sentiment (also from Stamping Bella) onto the bottom. Isn't this DP yummy? It's from the Cosmo Cricket Garden Variety collection and I thought it went perfect with my little chef! I even added some expresso dimensional pearls to the batter in her bowl. If you've never tried this stuff, you've GOT to go get some. Seriously, that batter looks good enough to eat!! I stitched the DP to the SU Real Red and used my SU scalloped border punch on the bottom edge. I finished by adding a little twill tape loop with a red button on top. Ok, don't forget to leave a cluck below and let me know what you think of her ok? I've got a busy week planned for da hens, so be sure to head on back to the coop each day for some SUPER DUPER eye candy!! Woo-hoo!! {{{hen hugs}}}

You two make a PERFECT PAIR!!
LOL!! See, I told you I was an odd bird!! Bwah-ha-ha-ha-ha! I needed an anniversary card so I decided to use "Salt & Peppah" from Stamping Bella. I think my aunt and uncle will get a kick out of it!
I started by stamping my image onto some SU Sahara Sand CS and colored it with my Copics. I know the tops appear white in the photo, but they are actually shiny silver. I cut the image out with my Nesties and added some chalk ink around the edges. I used this new DP from DCWV and matted it with both Prism Candle Glow Dark and SU Basic Black CS and stitched them to the card base of SU Sahara Sand. To finish, I rounded the corners with my Corner Chomper and tied this black saddle stitched ribbon into a cute bubbly bow! Ok, be sure to leave a cluck below and let me know what you think, k?

That's Krafty Thursday! #20
Happy That's Krafty Thursday lil' hens!! I'm in such a GOOD mood today! Well you all know how much I LOVE Thursdays anyway, but today is extra special cuz' Easter is only a few days away!! I guess I'm just gettin' excited. I just LOVE this time of year! Do you hens have anything planned for your holiday weekend? I wanna hear ALL about it!
I thought I'd incorporate my happy day into a card for both Easter and That's Krafty Thursday too! At first I was thinking, "Um, maybe this wasn't such a good idea", but then I spotted this paper in my stash and I thought, "PERFECT!!" This is "Lottie the Bunny" from Stamping Bella. I think she turned out ADORABLE, don't you?
I started by stamping her onto some Classic Crest Solar White CS and colored her with my Copics. I cut her out with my circle Nesties and then sponged a little chalk ink around the edges. I matted her with a scalloped circle cut out of the Kraft CS and then adhered her to the DP. I matted the DP onto some plain white CS and then stitched it to the Kraft card base. And of course to finish, I tied this pretty pink ribbon into a cute bubbly bow! Now That's Krafty!! Be sure to leave a cluck below and let me know what you think of her and tell me about your weekend plans too!
Don’t forget Bellarific Friday tomorrow! Email your submissions by tonight as a JPEG attachment to emily@stampingbella.com. This week’s theme is"Gettin' Hitched". This could be for a wedding, anniversary, or shower. You could win some cool Bellabucks!! Come on and play, I can't wait to see what you come up with. I just finished mine. When you see it you might think, huh? Just remember, I'm an odd bird.. what can I say? LOL!!
Have a GREAT day! {{{hen hugs}}}
