29 really??

Mornin' hens!  I've had this idea in my head for the longest time and FINALLY decided to try it out.  I bought the brick stencil with the idea of making a brick colored wall using embossing paste, and I'm thrilled with how it turned out.  It's EXACTLY as I imagined it.  Woot-woot!   Smiley

I knew the girl from this older stamp set from BC Dzyns called, "and then I said" would be perfect for my wall.  I just love that look on her face, and I imagined her saying something really sarcastic.  {snort!}   Ok, so I stamped the image, colored it with my Copics, and cut it out.  Next, I masked off the top half of my card base and then applied the embossing paste over the stencil. Once the paste was dry, I taped the stencil back on top and used my distress inks to color the paste.  Love it!!  I then stamped the sentiment and made the speech bubble using the quotables die from Paper Smooches.  I had to color the chipboard stickers (29) black and then adhered the image and speech bubble with some foam tape.  Well, that's it for me today.  I hope you have a great day and I'll see ya back in the hen house real soon.  {{{hen hugs}}}
