A "Beary" Special Birthday!

Mornin' hens!  Hope you all had a GREAT weekend and SWEET Valentine's Day!  I made this little card using an older set from The Cat's Pajamas. The present and hat are just add ons.  I colored him with my Copics and cut him out leaving a small white border.  I adhered him to this DP with a few dimensionals.  I used my Perfect Layers tool to mat each piece of DP onto some SU Early Expresso CS and then I stitched around the edges.  To finish, I added some green Stickles to the present and tied a bow with this striped grosgrain ribbon.  That's it for me today.  I hope you hens have a TERRIFIC Tuesday and I'll see ya back in the hen house real soon.  {{{hen hugs}}}

Hey there!! So how'z your weekend going? Mine is fantastic! This is my submission to The Cat's Pajamas' Color Challenge, with hostess Jen del Muro. This is my first TCP Color Challenge so I'm really excited.


I decided to use the Clearly Swanky "Havin' a Pow Wow" set. I just love this set. I stamped my images onto the SU Very Vanilla and colored with my Copics. I did some shading with my Lyra pencils as well and then stitched around the edges. The card base is SU Kraft and the patterned paper is from K & Company. The little plaid ribbon is one of my many finds yesterday at CHA, it's from PaperTrey Ink!! I think it turned out SUPER DUPER cute. Leave me a comment and let me know what you think? World's Greatest Marshmallow Roaster!

This card is for my little nephew Andrew's birthday! My family is BIG on camping, and Andrew is BIG on marshmallows! Each time we camp, Andrew has to do ALL the marshmallow roasting. He is so cute! Of course, each of us wants ours roasted differently so he has to roast them to order!! Ha! We keep him busy. Me, I like mine just starting to turn that toasty brown. Yum!!! I'm getting hungry just thinking about them.

These stamps are from the Cat's Pajamas' set called, Happy Camper! It has lots of images in the set and they are so cute. I masked the squirrel and stamped the trees in the background as well as their little hands for the marshmallow stick. I colored the images with my Copics and sponged a little around the edges with my chalk inks. The paper is from Die Cuts With a View "Safari Kids" and I added some Glamour Dust to the campfire. It really looks like the fire is moving when you see it IRL. I printed the sentiment using my computer and finished it off with a couple of brads and a button.
