Ok, so didn't this turn out cute? I've had this layout in mind for awhile now and then I saw the Taylored Expressions Sketch Challenge for this week and thought it might work for it as well. Here's Taylor's sketch..
This image is from Elzybells and I stamped her onto some Papertrey Ink CS and colored her with my Copics. I cut her out with my circle Nesties and sponged a little chalk ink around the edges. This DP is from Cosmo Cricket and I matted it with some SU Real Red CS that I punched along the edges with the SU scalloped border punch. I added some Liquid Applique to her coat and some Diamond Dust to the snow. I finished the card with this great new ribbon from Stampin' Up, love this stuff! Ok, that does it for me today. Hope you all have a great day and thanks for stopping by!
Supplies:
Rubber Stamp - Elzybells; DP - Cosmo Cricket; CS - SU Real Red, Papertrey Ink; Punches - SU Scalloped Border Punch; Copics; Diamond Dust; Liquid Applique; Ribbon - Stampin' Up; Nestabilities
I love the sheet music. What a great idea.

Great card, perfect for the sketch. That ribbon just sets it off. Love that music paper also. You are doing a great job on your Christmas cards.
ReplyDeleteVery cute, I love the snow and music background paper.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Jeanie! Love the way you did the sentiment. Did you print it or stamp it.. I hope you don't say in your post, cause I did read it, but I've forgotten now... it's late ;-)
ReplyDeleteFa la la lovely. There is that puffy snow I like with ice crystals too. Cute little cold cheeks on the girl. Being a "music" girl - I love this card!
ReplyDeleteHi Meahni!
ReplyDeleteLove that name! You are SO right, I totally forgot all about the comment in my description. Yes, it's computer generated. I printed it on the cardstock first and then stamped the image on top using my Stampa-ma-jig to center it. It IS late for you, let's see that's 11:06PM for you. Yikes! Better go get some sleep!
Love that paper just the right touch for a xmas card. Teresa(sis)
