Here is my first card I made with the sets. I wanted to use the little teapot with the pretty designs on it, so I stamped the teapot in Olive Pastel Colorbox Chalk Ink and colored it with my Prismacolor pencils. The outline around the image piece is the label stamp also included in this set. This label stamp was sized to fit perfectly with Spellbinders Labels 9 dies. I personally don't have this Spellbinders set, so I cut mine out by hand. But as you can see, it turned out fine and it was super easy to cut out. The DP I used is from GCD Cloisonne' collection and I stitched it to some pink CS I had in my stash. The bottom portion of the card is stamped with the coordinating stamp set called "Miniature Motifs". The set includes 4 small background images perfect for ATC, gift cards, or you can use them as I did here. I stamped the sentiment and tied on this pretty satin ribbon to finish. Suh-weet huh?
For my second card, I decided to use the little scalloped square motif in the "CreativiTEA" set and stamped the sentiment inside. I colored the image with my Copics. I matted the image with some SU Soft Suede CS and used a few dimensionals to pop it up off the DP. This DP if from a small DCWV paper pack called The Linen Closet. Very soft patterns in this pack. I decided to stamp one of the background images from the coordinating "Miniature Motifs" set onto the SU Soft Suede and made a vertical panel that really makes the image stand out. I stitched around the edges of the panel and DP and finished with this pretty aqua ribbon and a cute little wire butterfly below. I just love the delicate look of both of these, don't you? Leave a cluck below and let me know what you think of them ok? Be sure to stop back by the coop tomorrow for sneak peek #2. In the mean time, fly on over to the rest of the Baker's Dozen and see what other ideas they've come up with using these two sets. Have a great day! {{{hen hugs}}}
