You're an A+ in my books!

Hey little chickadees!! Just popped in for a bit before I head off to church! I wanted to share this cute little card I whipped up using the new set "Make the Grade" from Taylored Expressions. I really LOVE the colors in this card. Well you know me and Kraft.... say no more huh? I used the DCWV paper pack "hittin the books". I'm really gettin' my use outta this paper pack. I stamped the teacher's desk first onto some SU Very Vanilla CS and colored it with my Copics. Then using my Stamp-a-ma-jig, I stamped the owl on top of the desk. I also stamped him a second time and colored him with my Copics and cut him out, so I could pop him up for a little 3D look. Super cute, huh? I also embossed the letter A onto the chalkboard with some white embossing powder. I like the look of that! It looks like chalk on that green board doesn't' it? Ok, now I'm wondering, I'm sure my chalkboards were green in school, right? Hmmmph, maybe I'm dreaming. Anyhoo, I matted the image with some SU Basic Black CS and stitched around the edges. To finish, I tied this black saddle stitched ribbon into a cute bubbly bow! Be sure to leave a cluck below and let me know what ya think of him, k?
