Here's the card details: First I started by cutting out four 2.5" scalloped circles from the newsprint DP using my Nestabilities. I crumpled them up and added some distress ink to the wrinkles. Then I sprayed them with some Shimmer Mist and let them dry. Next, I added a glob of white glue to the center of each and then pinched the centers as I stacked them on top of each other. I finished by adding a coordinating circle of DP and pearl brad to the center and set the flower aside to dry. I stamped my image onto some Neenah Classic Crest CS and colored her with my Copics. I added some sparkle to the image with my Gelly Roll metallic pen but I'm not sure if you can see that in the photo. It's SUPER pretty IRL. I cut her out with my scalloped oval Nestabilities and sponged some chalk ink around the edges. Here's a tutorial on that technique if you've never seen it done. As for the design, I followed the Viva La Verve sketch here. I've seen several hens use this design this week and I just LOVED it!
Well that's it! Now it's your turn to hop on over to the Catered Crop and give it a go yourself. Linda has tons more inspiration to get your MOJO up an running! Okee dokee hens, that's it for me today! I hope you all have a great rest of your weekend and I'll see ya back in the hen house real soon.
