Phyllis... Oh, Phyllis!!!

Isn't this how you feel sometimes?? I made this card for the woman who works in my husband's office. She has to deal with about a dozen men!! Oh my gosh, don't you feel sorry for her? I can't imagine what she goes through on a daily basis. (You know, we have to help them do everything, right?) Hmmm, what would they do without us? Anyway, I made this card for her and she loved it.

This is another Art Impressions stamp called Madge. She's great isn't she? I stamped her onto some SU Very Vanilla CS and colored her with my Lyra colored pencils. I matted her onto some SU Chocolate Chip CS and stitched around the edges with my sewing machine. The DP is from Making Memories, Chloe's Closet paper pad. I printed the sentiments onto some white CS and punched them out with my Marvy Super Jumbo Oval Balloon Bubble and outlined them by hand to give them some definition. I also drew some additional little bubbles running off the edge of the page and used my white gel pen to fill them in. I added some brown brads and matted the DP with some SU Chocolate Chip before I stitched around the outer edge and mounted to the SU Really Rust card base. Whew, I feel like Phyllis!! Ok, be sure to leave a comment and let me know what you think. Have a super duper Tuesday!

  1. The women in my office agree with you. We love it.

  2. How cute, and I can symphathize with her, having been in that position before I retired. Ha!
    Great job as usual.

  3. This is brilliant Jeanie!! I love how the speech bubbles balance out the brads. And your coloring,...well, it's still flawless! :D

  4. Poor Phyllis. Jessica

  5. I've laughed till I just about cried over this one!! Do all offices have evil copiers and the one person who always has to fix it?

    Your cards are always wonderful!

I just love hearing from da hens!! Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts with me. Cluckity-cluck!
