Happy Turkey Day!

Man I DO love this turkey, don't you? He just looks goofy doesn't he? Too funny! If you need to make a few Thanksgiving cards this year, this is a fairly simple card to make!

I stamped my image from Cornish Heritage Farms, onto some Classic Crest CS and colored with my Copics. I cut the image out with my Deckled Nesties and sponged some Colorbox Chalk Ink around the image with the die in place. I matted the image with some SU Soft Suede and used some dimensionals on the back. This DP is from K & Company and I picked it up as a single sheet at Michaels. I love the look of the flourishes already on the paper. I added the paper to the SU Soft Suede card base and stitched around the edges. I tied on some SU Soft Suede polka dot ribbon, added the printed sentiment and a button threaded with twine. And that's it! SUPER simple but I think it's SUPER cute too! Leave a comment below, I'd love to hear what you think. Have a great day!

Supplies:
Rubber Stamp - Cornish Heritage Farms; Copics; DP - K&Co; CS - SU Soft Suede, Classic Crest; Ribbon - SU Soft Suede Polka Dots

  4. Very interesting background paper. It works well with the stamp since the stamp is so "clean" looking. Love the turkey too - to thin for this year!!
