Well butter my buns....

...and call me a biscuit!!  LOL!  Is this a GREAT card or what?  OMG, I love it!  This card is for my niece Chrissy.  Her birthday was October 1st.  She was almost part of that September birthday bunch!!  Whew, that was a busy month for card making!   Oh, but you hens know I love it.
Ok, so you know how much I love OLD PEOPLE stamps, so when I saw this new one (at least new for me anyway!), I HAD to have it.  I decided not to use the sentiment that came with it and switched it out for this one, which I LOOOOOVE!  Sounds so much like ME!  LOL!

So I started by stamping the image onto some Canson watercolor paper and watercolored her using my Derwent Inktense pencils.  Me loooove these pencils.  Totally different than any other watercolor medium I have.  The colors are SO vibrant, and a little goes a long way.  After watercoloring the image, I die cut it using the femme frames die from Mama Elephant.  LOVE this die!  If you don't own, get it!  You'll use it over and over.  Seriously, it's a MUST HAVE!  Then I stamped the sentiment using Versafine black and embossed it with clear embossing powder.  I added a frame around the panel using my Prismacolor black marker and then tied on some black bakers twine.  I added some Glossy Accents to the balloon and then adhered the panel to some black card stock and finally to the white card base.  Okee dokee, that's it for me today.  I hope you have a GREAT day and I'll see ya back in the hen house real soon.
Oh, and if you have a minute or two, be sure to leave a comment below.  I REALLY LOVE it when you do!  Smiley
