Grateful for you & all that you do...

Mornin' hens!  Here's a clean & simple card that's easy to create.  I've recently become obsessed with shaker cards and purchased several of these text block dies from Papertrey Ink.  There's just something about an interactive card that brings the "kid" out in me.  I just gotta shake it!  Tee-hee!   Ok, so I've shared this tip in previous posts, but for those of you who are new to creating shaker cards, try using fun foam instead of foam tape.  Seriously, it makes the whole process so much easier, especially with thin frames like this.  Just die cut the fun foam just like you do the cardstock, then the frame and cardstock line up perfectly.  I cut the words away from the fun foam so only the frame was left, and then adhered a piece of transparency and the cardstock on top.  The fun foam frame works like a charm to hold in the sequins.  Ta-dah!!

Okee dokee, that's it for me today.  I hope you hens have a TERRIFIC Tuesday! {{{hen hugs}}}

    What adhesive do you use for the fun foam? I love this tip and use it even for just dimension on my cards vs. foam tape BUT I haven't found a GREAT adhesive that holds well - recommendations?? :D Thank you!

    1. Hi Whimsey! Thanks SO MUCH for your sweet comment. I use the Ranger Multi Medium Matte. I haven't had any problems and it seems to hold fine. Have a great day!

  3. Love your cute card. Great tip on the fun foam. I have read about it being used but haven't tried it yet. I will give it a try though.

  4. I also love interactive cards and have done a bunch and have tried several techniques. I think your way is one of the best, but I continue with one problem. I still can't find the right glue or I'm doing something wrong. The pieces get stuck on the edges. Do you have a solution or may I ask what glue you use? I have even used double sided tape and use my die cuts like I do the fun foam and that doesn't work. And, to you use one piece of form or do you double so it will shake a little better? Thanks Jeanie! celyinscatcharter.net
