Mornin hens! Today is my older brother's birthday. I made this simple card for him and stuffed in a gift card to his favorite restaurant. Have I told you hens how much I LOVE my Silhouette Cameo? Holy cow, I know I couldn't have done all the crafts for the wedding without it, that's for sure. It's AMAZING and has become an invaluable tool for my crafting. With that said, I downloaded the template for this card and it cut out the card with the word Happy Birthday on the front. Yup, it does it all. It even scores it where it should be folded. Ahhhhhhhh! Ok, so then I backed the front of the card with some DP by October Afternoon and added some baker's twine on the left. Next, I colored this cute little image from Whipper Snapper Designs called "Take the Cake Turtle" with my Copics and added some Stickles to the candles. That's it! Super simple and Super cute too!
Hope you hens have a great Monday!

super cute card. Love what you can do with the Silouette. Have a wonderful week. Hugs....
ReplyDeleteAdorable card. My Silouette is on backorder :(
ReplyDeleteGreat card...and yes, I have loved my Cameo for over a year and still learning things. Lots of freebies out there and wonderful files at the store for $1 or less when they are on sale...can't be that. Again, great birthday card for your brother.
ReplyDeletePS....don't know if you have tried the print and cut feature yet...OMG...wonderful. Under the Cherry Tree (Jin) does great tutorials with the Cameo and with the print and cut feature. It will cut dead-on the line or you can choose to leave white border any depth you want. The sky's the limit.
ReplyDeleteThis is too cute! I want a silhouette too. But who's going to buy me one ;-) The template is great, and the little tortoise too cute.
ReplyDeleteLove the turtle! Happy birthday Bobby!
