It's another DUDE!!

Mornin' hens!! Can you believe it, ANOTHER DUDE!! Tee-hee!! I couldn't resist resist using SUPER TROOPER TRIPP from Dude Time Doodles for my BIL's birthday card. Shooowee, ain't he a CUTIE?? Look at them arms!!! *swoooon* I even gave him a little 5 o'clock shadow too! LOL! My kinda man!! I printed the digital image onto some Neenah Classic Crest card stock and colored him with my Copics. I stitched the image panel to some SU Basic Black card stock and then adhered him to this great DP from Cosmo Cricket's Joy Ride collection. I printed the computer generated sentiment inside a speech bubble and attached it with a few pop dots.

To finish, I punched a small hole in the image panel and threaded some stitched ribbon through for a cool "highway" look. LOL! Now, I'm off to the mall cuz it's BLACK FRIDAY! Woo-hoo!! Maybe I'll get lucky and SUPER TROOPER TRIPP will pull me over!! Bwah-ha-ha-ha-ha!!

That's Krafty Thursday #56

...uh make that Wednesday!! Tee-hee! Yeah, I know, I'm a day early but tomorrow is a fabulous holiday here in the States so this chick's gonna be busy, busy, busy. Tomorrow is Thanksgiving and the number one thing we do on Thanksgiving is - EAT!! Yup, that's right, I'm gonna be busy EATIN'!! Oh, and not just a little, nosiree, we eat a bunch!! Did I mention this is one of my favorite holidays? LOL! Uh-huh, this hen LOVES to eat! The main entree at Thanksgiving is of course, the TURKEY! Yum!! Me love me some turkey. Hmmm, a hen eatin' a turkey???? That's kinda like being a cannibal though isn't it? Eweeee, maybe I better give that some more thought. *snort* Ok, enough of my silliness, onto today's card. Which needless to say, is all about Thanksgiving. Meet Heath Hunter! Heath Hunter is one of Dude Time Doodles newer images and I just LOVE him to bits. Ain't he a catch? Bwah-ha-ha-ha! Check out those teeth! Pfffft! Ooh-ooh, and here's the best part.....

Did I mention that I'm in the SPOTLIGHT today over at the Dude Time Doodles blog?? Yay!! I was so exited when Tammy asked me to be their spotlight designer. Yippee-skippee! So I thought, what better time to start a new That's Krafty Thursday challenge!! Right? Now you hens know the drill, but for all the new hens just visiting the hen house for the first time, well shuck your shoes and put your little hen feet up and sit a spell. I'll tell you how it works. You see, it's real complicated to play along so pay close attention. First, you need to make a project and use some Kraft colored card stock on it. Mornin' hens! So whatcha think of today's card? Oh boy, do I ever LOVE this card.

This is for my Lil' Chicks fella, AGAIN..... Yup, this is his THIRD card!! Lil' Chick say's, "don't worry Mom, he's savin' all of 'em!" Good boy! *snort* Anyhoo, he just closed on a townhouse and I wanted to send him a CONGRATULATIONS card. So I thought this image would be PERFECT! The inside reads, "Congratulations on "scoring" your new home!"

Great huh? This image, called "Penalty Pete" is from DudeTime Doodles. I think he's FAB and can think of several occasions to use him for! Ok, so I printed the image onto some Neenah Classic Crest CS and colored him with my Copics. I stitched the image to some SU Chocolate Chip and then adhered it to this DP from My Minds Eye. I finished by adding this big copper brad on top of some twine tied in a bow. Have a GREAT day! {{{hen hugs}}}

Evenin' little lady.....

That's a new one huh? It's been a long time since I've posted in the evenin' hours. Oh well, gotta keep you hens on your toes. Never know what this ol' chick is up to!

Guess where I've been? Well, I just got back from a cruise to the Bahamas. It was just a GIRL cruise with the Lil' Chick, my Ma, my Sis, SIL and a good friend of hers. What a GREAT time we all had. I gained FIVE - uh huh - FIVE POUNDS!! And I enjoyed every minute (make that bite) of it!! Bwah-ha-ha-ha-ha! The Lil' chick said we ate like we were goin' to the electric chair! LOL! Seriously, they must feed you a dozen times each day and it's a bottomless pit! They just keep servin! Ahhhhhh HEAVEN!! *snort* We did have a really good time and I still can't get over that water. Oh my, it's like an aquarium! Just beautiful!

Ok on to my card..... This little guy is from Dude Time Doodles and his name is Fred Farmer... Oh boy, do I ever LOVE that smile of his. Pffft! I'm using this card for this week's FTR #22 challenge over at the Catered Crop. Wanna play along? Here's this week's recipe:

That's Krafty Thursday #52

Woo-hoo!! Ya'll ready for this? Tee-hee!

Well, I'd say it's HIGH TIME we have ourselves another That's Krafty Thursday challenge, don'tcha think? Yesiree, let's get this show on the road! Soooooo, I need all you hens out there to dust off that Kraft colored cardstock and make sumthin' purty, k? Ahhh, ya'll know I ain't picky, so just make whatever yer little 'ol heart feels like, stick some Kraft colored cardstock on it and link it up below before the deadline of August 3rd, 7:00pm EST. I'll pick my TOP KRAFTY CHICKS from all the entries and post them right here on my blog on Thursday, August 4th. To top that off, you'll also become the proud caretaker of Clara, The Krafty Chick badge for your own nest (I mean blog, that is). That way the whole world will know that YOU ARE ONE KRAFTY CHICK! Ok, so lemme tell ya a little bit 'bout my card. Ain't she a beaut!! I told ya you was gonna LOVE her! OMG, I crack up every time I look at her. This is Fanny Fart from Dude Time Doodles. I think I spent my whole craft allowance over there this past week. *sigh* But ya'll know me and funny, it's just MY THING! This is my sister's birthday card. Pfffft! Think she's still gonna LOVE me afterwards? *snort* I printed Fanny Fart onto some Neenah Classic Crest CS and colored her with my Copics.

I paper pieced her dress and stitched her to the mat of SU Cherry Cobbler and Basic Black. This DP is from the Cosmo Cricket Circa 1934 collection and I'm so in LOVE with it. I finished by printing my sentiment onto a scrap piece of paper and punched it out with my circle punch. I matted it with the same SU colors as the image and then attached it right below this bubbly bow made from some cream twill tape. Oh, and here's the inside too! Now tell me the truth, ya'll want me for a sister don't ya? Bwah-ha-ha-ha-ha!! Ok, now it's time for YOU to get KRAFTY!! Git-er-done!! LOL! Ya'll have a TEE-RIFIC THURSDAY and I'll see ya back in the coop bright 'n early tomorrow mornin!

Acccccck! Now tell me you're not rollin' on the floor, bustin' a gut with this one?? OMG, this is SO my DH! He can fix ANYTHING and is ever so handy when it comes to repairs, maintenance, you name it - he can fix it!! Yeah I know, I'm blessed! No service calls at my house, wouldn't know how to act if I had to call a repair man for something! Eeeeeek!

Anyway, this was the card I made him for Father's Day. The inside reads, "so take the day off, you can finish your "honey do" list TOMORROW! Bwah-ha-ha-ha-ha! When my little chick saw this card she said, "oh my goodness Daddy, that's YOU!" *snort* We always tease him that he suffers from a disease called, NOBUTTATALL!

Seriously, his pants are always about to fall off because his has no BUTT to keep them up! Tee-hee! Needless to say, when I saw this image over at Dude Time Doodles, I knew it would be perfect for one of his cards. This image is called, "Pete Plumber". I printed him onto some Neenah Classic Crest cardstock and colored him with my Copics. Isn't that DP great? It's from the Harley Davidson collection at EK Success. The diamond plate design is even raised for a totally realistic look too! I matted the image onto some SU Basic Black CS and then stitched around the edges of it and the DP as well. To finish I added the vertical piece of black CS and used these cool screw brads as the perfect GUY hardware to this UBER COOL Father's Day card. Yeah, he LOVED it!

Happy Father's Day!

Bwah-ha-ha-ha!! Is this guy a hoot or what? OMG, every time I look at this image I'm crackin' up! *snort* This is my Dad's Father's Day card and he loved it!

The image is "Arnie in the Loo" from Dude Time Doodles. Now be honest, how many times have you hens read the directions/ingredients on the shampoo and conditioner labels while on the THRONE??? Hmmmmm? ROFL!!! OMG, I SO LOVE this card. Of course, you hens know how much I LOVEEEEE funny old people images!! What can I say, I'm a sick chick!

Ok, so I printed Arnie out onto some Neenah Classic Crest cardstock and colored him with my Copics. Then I finally decided on the sentiment I wanted to add so I typed it up in MSWord and then ran some scrap paper through the printer for a few test runs so I could get the placement just right underneath the image and when I was sure I had the right placement, I ran the image through and it printed out perfectly underneath him. I matted the image onto some SU Early Expresso and stitched around the edges. Then I adhered it to some OLD DP from Patchwork Papers and Flair Designs. They seemed to work well together and made a great background for a masculine card. (Ya'll know how hard guy cards can be.) *sigh* Ok, then I matted each layer with the same SU Early Expresso and stitched around the edges. To finish, I threaded this satin ribbon through a slit I made in the image panel and added a few mini brads to the corners too. Ain't it a doosey????

Oh and to give you hens a little update.... if you're wondering why the sporadic posts lately, well this Chicken's turning into a BRAINIAC!! Pffft! Ummm, let's just say I'm trying anyway! Hmmmph! I have a new job and I've been in training for the past month, so I'm trying my best to make a few cards here and there in between my classes. Hopefully, in a few months, my schedule will become more consistent and I can fit more cards in. Until then, I hope you hens understand and won't be too disappointed when I don't post. Tee-hee!! This card is for my BIL who's turning the BIG 60 in a few weeks!! Think he'll dis-own me? Nah! He's a good sport! He knows me well enough to know that I could NEVER let such an occasion pass without a little jab or two! It just wouldn't be right, ya know! LOL!!

Ok, so I decided on this GREAT image from Dude Time Doodles called MC Squared. OMG, is he a riot or what? I thought he'd be the perfect image to add my own equation for my BIL's age. Too funny. Check out that crazy hair of his, looks like my BEDHEAD each morning! Bwah-ha-ha-ha!

So I printed Mr. MC Squared onto some Canson Manga Fanboy CS and colored him with my Copics. I matted him with some SU Basic Black CS and stitched around the edges. I did add some Glossy Accents to his spectacles as well as some gold shine to the frames with my Gelly Roll pen. Isn't he just FABULOUS? If I'm still alive after March, you'll know he didn't get too mad! ROFL! Okee dokee, I hope you hens have a MARVELOUS Monday and don't forget my That's Krafty Thursday challenge! Ok, so I found this image called "Nicky Lotsaspaghetti" {*snort*} at a new digi company I found called, "Dude Time Doodles" OMG, the characters by Bonibleaux Designs are hilarious and are totally geared toward the DUDES in your life. And you hens know I LOVE funny so needless to say, I'm hooked! You definitely need to check this site out. WAY COOL!!

Ok, so I printed the image onto some Canson Manga Fanboy CS and colored him with my Copics. I cut the image out with my Nestabilities and sponged some distress ink around the edges with the die in place. Then I stitched it to the SU Basic Black mat and adhered it to this great DP from Cosmo Cricket's Circa 1934 collection. Lovin' that stuff too! I know, what don't I LOVE?? *sigh* To finish, I printed the sentiment and cut it out with my Nestie tag die and attached it with a gun metal brad (appropriate, huh?). Oh man, I LOVE this card!!
