Save the Date!

Mornin' hens!! Wow, it's been awhile since you've heard that, huh? I'm so sorry. I guess you could say, I FLEW THE COOP! *snort* The DH and I took a little mini vacation and had a wonderful time. We rode the Harley all around Central Florida near the Ocala area, it's so pretty there with all the hills! Oh and you'll never believe this, but on one of our little adventures, we found the My Favorite Things stamp boutique! Not only that, but I met Kim van der Sanden and her whole family too! They were so nice to us. And before you ask, YUP, I came home with a whole bunch of new stamps! Good thing they don't take up much room because those saddlebags aren't that big, ya know! Hmmmmph! It was great to get away, but since our return home, I've been PREOCCUPIED with these little jewels....

Now, they may not seem like that big of a deal, but after you've made 50 of these puppies you'll be seein' flowers in your sleep!! Seriously!! Lil' Chick's wedding colors are mocha, peach and cream. She asked that I incorporate Kraft CS into her "Save the Dates" and invitations too. Ahhhhhh! You can bet that makes Momma Chick super happy! Tee-hee! Me loveeeee Kraft!! Hey, do you think Lil' Chick was butterin' me up so I'd do these? Uh-huh, I think so too! (I told you she was smart!) Ok, so I saw this design over at Silke's blog HERE and I just switched up the orientation and colors a bit to fit with the wedding colors. I printed the words Save the Date on the card stock first, and then using my Stamp-a-ma-jig, stamped the image over top. Then using the die that matches this SU stamp set, I cut each image out. The background is done with an SU embossing folder. Inside each card is a business card magnet made with Kraft card stock as well. They turned out really cute but I must say, I'm so glad they're finished and I can get back to my normal crafting!! Sorry, but mass production just isn't much fun, even if it is for Lil' Chick!!

Wedding news update: Lil' Chick found a dress!! OMG!! It's the most stunning dress EVER!! And the best part is, she LOVED it so much, she didn't want to take it off in the boutique!! *snort* We had so much fun that day! I bet she tried on 25 dresses and I think the girl helping her was having just as much fun as she was, because Lil' Chick was so open minded about the whole process! She didn't have any preconceived ideas and was willing to try anything! It was a BLAST!

Well, that's all from the hen house today, but be sure to check back in tomorrow because I have some SUPER excited news to share with you! Until then.... {{{hen hugs}}}

Cracked Egg Chick!

...and your That's Krafty Thursday reminder too! Isn't this little chick a real cutie? This is another one of the SUPER CUTE images from Purple Onion Designs - Stephanie Ackeman line. This image is called "Cracked Egg Chick" and is part of a great deal going on right now over at Purple Onion Designs, where you can get all three cracked egg images for only $8.50! Woo-hoo! Now that's a deal! Whoah, hold on now, before you hens fly over to the Purple Onion Design website and get your own cracked egg chick, let me tell ya about my card first! Tee-hee! Ok, I stamped the image onto some Neenah Classic Crest CS and colored it with my Copics. I sponged some distress ink around the edges and stitched the image onto some hot pink CS. Then I adhered the image to this cute DP I found in my scrap paper bundle. I adhered this DP to a SU Kraft CS card base and added some crocheted lace and this pretty peach satin ribbon. To finish, I rounded the corners, punched a tiny tag and hand wrote the Happy Easter. Isn't it CUTE? I just love it! Now that I've got your MOJO revved up, it's your turn! Vroom-vroom! LOL! That's Krafty Thursday #59

You're not OLD..... you're just collecting WRINKLES!!! LOL! Oh man, don'tcha just LOVE Gus? He's one of my favorite images from Bugaboo Stamps! (y'all know Stella is my other FAV!). Tee-hee! I bet you'd never guess the two CRANKIEST, SASSIEST, RUDEST characters are my favorites, huh? *snort* Yup, that's me! Ok, so are you hens all fired up for another KRAFTY challenge? Ok, you're on! Let the KRAFTINESS begin....

And here's some inspiration to get the ball rollin'. As I mentioned, this is Gus from Bugaboo Stamps. Did ya check out those cute legs of his? Bwah-ha-ha-ha! I printed Gus onto this label included in the Simple Stories - "Generations" 6x6 paper pack and colored him with my Copics. This card is for a good friend of the DH, who's turning 60 this week. When I saw the numbers on this label, I thought of making the 6, a 60! And to make it a focal point (ain't I sweet to rub it in?), I added some Stickles and made a frame using my SU scalloped punch too! To finish, I stitched around the edges and added this cute ribbon! I know, the DH doesn't think ribbons should be on guy cards but I couldn't resist! And he actually didn't say a thing about it, other than he liked the card! Yay!

Ok, now it's your turn! Come on and play along with the hens! It's SUPER EASY to play.... Just make a project using Kraft colored card stock and link it below by 7:00pm EST on Wednesday, March 14 and I'll pick my TOP CHICK PICKS on Thursday, March 15 and post the winners right here on my blog. The winners will also receive Clara, The Krafty Chick badge to display on their blog side bar so the whole world can see YOU are a Krafty Chick! Ready to get started? Woo-hoo! Let's go!

Mornin' hens! It's time for another Recipe Swap with the Catered Crop, and this week's featured ingredient is the color RED. Now that's EASY PEASY in my book, cuz' I LOVEEE RED! To play along just use the color RED on your project and link it up over at the Catered Crop. Oh man, this challenge has JEANIE written all over it!! Tee-hee! This is Hezzy! Ain't she a doll?? {{thump-thump goes my heart}}
Ok, so I stamped Hezzy onto white CS, and three different DP's too, and then paper pieced her together. I colored her legs, shoes, bow and beak with my Copics and added some shading to the paper piecing. I adhered her to the barnwood DP with a few pop dots and then stamped the sentiment from the Molly set and added some twine to resemble a hanging sign. To finish, I stitched around the edges and added this cute ribbon with a few buttons too! I'm also entering this into Karen's Sweet Sunday Sketch challenge #152 too! Here's the sketch....

Welcome Baby!

Mornin' hens! Aren't these the CUTEST little baby shower invitations EVER?? OMG, I'm in LOVE with them! My Lil Chick is throwin' a baby shower for her BESTEST friend and asked YOURS TRULY to make the invitations. So, of course, like a good Momma Chick, I said "sure!" Then she tells me how many... 36!! Are you kidding me?? Holy cow! Here I was thinking like 15 or 20 tops! Ah-hem.. Ok, so after the shock wore off, I began to plan my design. The theme for the baby nursery is a jungle theme with giraffes. Oh and yes, she's having a girl. So, whatcha think? Did I hit the mark? I think they're adorable. I got this FABULOUS Onesie template from Paper Smooches and it opens up into a card. How cool is that? It fits perfectly into an A2 envelope too! Woo-hoo! Ok, so first, I bought this great CS from Michaels. I don't think it could be any more perfect for this project either. I'm not sure if you can tell from the photo, but it's embossed with little flowers, so it adds the perfect texture, just like a onesie! It's made by Bazzill and it's called Strawberry Cheesecake. Oh, and the reverse side is a lighter shade of pink too! OMG, CUTE, CUTE, CUTE!! I cut the 12x12 sheets into two 5.5 x 8.5 rectangles and ran each through my printer with all the invitation details printed on the lighter pink inside. Note: I made several passes with copy paper to get the positioning just right first, so when I folded the card, the printing would be centered. Then I scored each card and traced the template design on top. Next, I cut each card along the template lines and I used a 1.5" circle punch for the leg and neck openings. This made it much easier (and neater) than cutting these areas by hand. I cut about 75 scalloped circles from white CS using my Nestabilities and then cut the centers out of each with the regular circles, creating a white scalloped frame. I glued a frame to each leg opening and neck and trimmed off the excess frame. I made little strips of white CS and cut the edges with my Fiskars Paper Shaper "scalloped" scissors for the arm lace. I found this pink jungle print DP at Michaels as well, and I cut little .25" strips and glued them on the top of the white arm lace. I punched little .25" holes out of the jungle print DP and glued them to the bottom of the onesie to resemble snaps. Last but not least, I stamped this little image and sentiment from an older Cornish Heritage Farms "Kim Hughes" set called "Baby Love" and colored the image with my Copics. Yep, it was a bit of a process but once all the pieces were cut, it was just an assembly line process. I finished them all in one weekend but it took the WHOLE weekend. Whew! And the best part, Lil Chick LOVES them! (Momma chick is smiling!)
Have a MAH-VELOUS Monday! {{{hen hugs}}}

WHAT? Lil' Chick's gettin' hitched?

Yup, that's right! My Lil' Chick is ENGAGED! The DH and I couldn't be happier for her, and talkin' about the most PERFECT fella, oh my, IS HE EVER! We couldn't have picked a better SIL if we tried. He even asked the DH for her hand ahead of time. Isn't that the sweetest? {sniff-sniff} Oh, and her ring is just STUNNING!
A few days later, she called the DH and I and asked, "hey, how do I clean my ring?" So, we both say at the same time "toothpaste" (we were on two different house phones), and then she says, "But it's PLATINUM!" So, of course, we both come back with, "Ewwwwwww, well we poor ol' gold folk wouldn't know anything 'bout PLATINUM!" Now you have to imagine, this went on for a good while and she got to laughing so hard at us teasing her. LOL! Hence the sentiment on her card! Needless to say, she LOVED it! Now, let the wedding plans begin... *sigh*
Oh and just a reminder, you hens still have until 7:00pm EST on Wednesday to enter this week's That's Krafty Thursday challenge! Come on and play along!! {{{hen hugs}}}

Oh Happy Day!

You got that right! Know why? Cuz' I'm on the design team for Purple Onion Designs!! Eeeeek! Can you believe it? I'm SUPER excited about it and could hardly wait to show you hens my first card with one of their stamps. Seriously, I'm ADDICTED to these stamps! I've always loved doodling and this line from Stephanie Ackerman is just the ticket! OMG!! Are they CUTE or what? This particular image is called "Cupcake Framed Doodle" and comes with 3 sentiments! What I LOVE about these is their size. WOW! No rinky dink small stamp here, these are BIG and BEAUTIFUL!

Now to create my little card, I started by stamping the image onto both Neenah Classic Crest in white and also onto some SU Real Red CS. I colored the image on the white CS and adhered it to the center of the red CS image! Then I just added some Inkssentials Enamel accents in white to the red frame and adhered it to this cute DP from American Crafts with a few pop dots. I stamped the sentiment and colored in a few letter s to resemble the polka dot background and popped it up with pop dots too! To finish, I stitched this SUPER CUTE ruffle trim between the two DP's and added the blue rick rack on top. Isn't it SWEET? I just think it's SO HAPPY looking'!! Makes me wanna SMILE!! Tee-hee! I hope it makes you smile too! Have a WONDERFUL Wednesday! {{{hen hugs}}}

I think I'll hang on to you!

Tee-hee! ....and except for those stick legs, that little monkey looks just like me! ROUND! Bwah-ha-ha-ha! Yup, this is my DH's Valentine's card! Ain't it a hoot? The BEST part of this card is, that he found this stamp for me on our vacation last year. He knows I LOVEEE cute, so as I was browsing through a craft store, he spotted these stamps and said, "Hey, these look like you!" (In more ways than one! *snort!*) Anyhoo, he was right! I LOVE that little Stampendous monkey and this one was adorable. It was the first time I had seen Stampendous stamps made with cling mount cushion. SOLD!! Now you see why I'm hanging on to him, right? Any man who finds stamps for me, IS NOT GETTING AWAY! Mwah!

Ok, so I stamped both images onto Neenah Classic Crest CS and colored the main image with my Copics. I cut it out with my scalloped Nesties and drew some squiqqle lines around the scallops. I also drew the hearts above my (ah-hem, the monkey's) head! I added some distress ink to all the pieces and then stitched around the edges. To finish I added some Stickles to the hearts and tied this polka dot ribbon in a cute bubbly bow! Okee dokee, that's it for me today! I hope you hens have a MAAH-VELOUS Monday! {{{hen hugs}}}

Happy Healing!

Mornin' hens! Here's a little Get Well card I made for my Uncle. I think it turned out so STINKIN cute! I just love this little image called "Umbrella and Slicker" from Whipper Snapper Designs. I stamped the image onto some Neenah Classic Crest CS and colored the umbrella, boots and water with my Copics. I paper pieced the slicker and added some Glossy Accents to the puddle and rain drops for a "real life" water look. I matted the image to some SU Real Red CS and adhered it to the DP using a few dimensionals. I stamped the Happy Healing sentiment to this SMASH flag paper clip and clipped it on top. I printed the sentiment "Under the weather?" on the bottom DP and punched a little white border between the two DP's
for a little added interest. I LOVE how it turned out. Hope you hens have a Tee-rific Tuesday! {{{hen hugs}}}

I added a few strips of colorful DP scraps to the top and a little bone paper clip to the side. Next, I stamped a skinny oval and then cut the image out and adhered him over the oval. To finish, I tied some Baker's twine around the panel and added a few brads to the top. I think she's gonna LOVE it! LOL! Have a SUPER Saturday! {{{hen hugs}}}

Mornin' hens! I thought you might like some more inspiration for those of you who haven't submitted your TKT entries yet! Isn't this card great? Man, I'm LOVIN' those cows! They're part of a set called Chubby Chums from Paper Smooches. Remember me tellin ya that I was only seconds from subscribing to her monthly club? Well, guess what? Yup, I took the plunge! I LOVE her images so much I just couldn't resist. So you hens will be seein' a lot more of them in the future.
Ok, now onto today's card. Seriously, this card was super simple. Hmmm, simple and adorable?Ok, ya can't beat that! I stamped the image five times onto some Neenah Classic Crest CS and colored their little noses with my Copics. Then I punched some grass and a fence with my MS border punches. Recipe Swap "In Print"

Hiya hens! Havin' a good weekend are ya? Well I've been sitting' in the hen house playin' today, so you know I'm havin a good one! Tee-hee! Today's card is part of the Quick Fire round over at Catered Crop and this week's FEATURED INGREDIENT is PRINT! As luck would have it, one of the designs in my new little paper pack from My Minds Eye looks just like a newsprint too. Woo-hoo! How perfect is that? I've been itching to make one of these paper flowers, so I decided I was gonna give it a go today with some of this newsprint DP. Not sure if I did it exactly how I remembered seeing it, but I think it's cute! This little image is called Cupcake Ruby from Ladybug Crafts Ink. Isn't she pretty? Now I must admit, when Kerry first asked me to be a guest designer for her, I said "Oooooh, I LOVE Magnum & Lily!" cuz you hens know I LOVEEEEE funny! But she wanted me to give Ruby a try too, so I said, "Ummmmm, I don't know Kerry... I can't do PRETTY!" She was like, "come on, give it a try!" Ok, so now I'm hoping you hens will tell me I did OK with PRETTY!

Here's the card details: First I started by cutting out four 2.5" scalloped circles from the newsprint DP using my Nestabilities. I crumpled them up and added some distress ink to the wrinkles. Then I sprayed them with some Shimmer Mist and let them dry. Next, I added a glob of white glue to the center of each and then pinched the centers as I stacked them on top of each other. I finished by adding a coordinating circle of DP and pearl brad to the center and set the flower aside to dry. I stamped my image onto some Neenah Classic Crest CS and colored her with my Copics. I added some sparkle to the image with my Gelly Roll metallic pen but I'm not sure if you can see that in the photo. It's SUPER pretty IRL. I cut her out with my scalloped oval Nestabilities and sponged some chalk ink around the edges. Here's a tutorial on that technique if you've never seen it done. As for the design, I followed the Viva La Verve sketch here. I've seen several hens use this design this week and I just LOVED it!

Well that's it! Now it's your turn to hop on over to the Catered Crop and give it a go yourself. Linda has tons more inspiration to get your MOJO up an running! Okee dokee hens, that's it for me today! I hope you all have a great rest of your weekend and I'll see ya back in the hen house real soon. Don't forget, you've still got 4 more days to enter my That's Krafty Thursday challenge! YOU just might be the new KRAFTY CHICK! Awwwwkkkkkk! {{{hen hugs}}}

Supplies:

This here's a little card I made for the Lil' Chick! I'm a little late with it but I don't think she'll mind. Have I told you how much I WUV my Lil' Chick? She's the BESTEST Lil' Chick in the whole wide world. I could not be more PROUD of her. Let me tell you what she did for Christmas. Well, my parents are getting older (aren't we all?) and my Mom has always been like the hub of our family wheel, but Christmas shopping is getting more difficult each year for her, so the Lil' Chick takes it upon herself to do ALL her shopping for her. Now, this is in addition to ALL her own Christmas shopping too. So, she goes around to ALL my family (and mind you it's pretty large) and asks each person what they wanted. She compiles the list and starts shopping. Then she takes my mother on a day outing and buys a few little items with her and they eat lunch together. Then she takes the items she bought that day, along with ALL the other stuff she already bought for everyone else, and labels each item so my Mom knows who they go to. She did the same thing for Christmas dinner. She coordinated the whole thing on who needed to bring what so my Mom wouldn't be overwhelmed with Christmas dinner. Now, it may not sound like it, but this was a HUGE undertaking. She worked on this from Thanksgiving forward and made sure she stayed within budget for each person too. I get all teary eyed just thinking about it, because I think that was just the sweetest thing to do. So I decided to make her a THANK YOU card from ALL OF US!

Ok-ok, enough proud Momma stories. Tee-hee! You hens ready to play along in my challenge? Come on, it's fun! Here's the RULES OF THE ROOST: Make a card and use Kraft colored card stock on it some where. That's it! Easy peasy! Submit your card below by February 1st at 7:00PM EST and I'll announce my TOP CHICK PICKS the following day on February 2nd. Just think, YOU could be the next KRAFTY CHICK! Ready, set, GO!!!!

How MICE of you!

Tee-hee! Isn't this a sweet image? I have had this image for.... well a LONG time! I can't even remember buying it! This is Millie the Mouse from My Favorite Things. I finally decided to use it today as a Thank You card for a special Christmas gift I received. And I found this cute sentiment in my stash that goes perfectly with it. It's from an older CHF (Kim Hughes) collection so I don't think it's available anymore, but Kim has her own company now and it's da bomb! The company is called Paper Smooches and I just LOVE her style. I think I'm only one second away from becoming a monthly subscriber. *SIGH * I know, like I need more stamps! But I do - I do!! Tee-hee!
I stamped the image onto some Neenah Classic Crest CS and colored her with my Copics. I matted her with alternating pink and brown CS and then adhered her to this cute DP from My Mind's Eye Stella & Rose collection. The brads weren't the right color so I colored them with my Copics! And ta-da!! A perfect match! To finish, I added a little shine to the bow on her tail with some Glossy Accents and colored a few of the letter in the sentiment to match. How Mice!! LOL! Have a Tee-Rif-Fic Tuesday! {{{hen hugs}}}

Worm Wishes!!!

Eeeeeeeeek! Ok, I normally HATE worms, but I do have to admit, this little guy is SUPER CUTE! Tee-hee! Check out his little pom-pom on his birthday hat! (snort) Ever seen a worm with a birthday hat on before? Me neither, but he sure does make me giggle! This little guy is just one of the super cute images in the Birthday Buddies set from Paper Smooches.

I started by stamping my little guy onto some Neenah Classic Crest CS and colored him with my Copics. I stamped a skinny oval on the DP with some Distress Ink and then cut my little guy out and adhered him on top of the oval with several dimensionals. I added his little pom-pom and applied some Glossy Accents to his eyes. I added the sentiment with a few brads and tied some jute twine around the base for a little added interest. SUPER funny but OH SO CUTE! Okee dokee hens, that's it for me today. I hope you have a GREAT rest of your day! {{{hen hugs}}}

Recipe Swap with Catered Crop

Mornin' hens! Well, the Catered Crop DT is back at it again and we're startin' this year off with a BANG! Linda has tweaked the FTR challenge and made it super easy for you hens to play along with us. So, how do you play? Well, here's how simple it is.... You only need to use the "featured ingredient" of the week on your project. That's it! Now it doesn't get any easier than that. This week's featured ingredient is none other than BUTTONS!! Oh and did I mention there are PRIZES? Uh-huh! This week's prize is, not one but TWO, super cute images from Jellypark. Hot Diggity Dog! Ready to play? Heeeeere we go..... Button, button who's got a button? Tee-hee!

My little card today is another guy card, I seem to have a lot of those lately, which incidently are perfect for buttons (since guys don't like any of that frilly-ribbon-prissy sorta thing). This is Cecil, from JustInkLined. I made this card for my BIL and believe it or not, he still likes me! LOL! Isn't that button cool? I just love those little stripes. Did ya notice the hair on his legs! Looks like mine! Bwah-ha-ha-ha! Oh-oh, and here's the inside.....
Ain't it great?? Ok, now it's your turn. Be sure to get your project linked up over at the Catered Crop by 8PM EST on January 21st so you can be sure to be entered for a chance to win those super cute images! Good Cluck!

...and here's the #2 card (literally)!!

Bwah-ha-ha-ha! Now tell me this isn't the perfect card for your brother? Right? My mom asked me to make him a card for her to give him so this is what I came up with. Pffft! My Mom is like, "not from me!" Eh, too bad! I just can't make nice cards for a guy, especially my brother! Have I ever told you how many times he use to sit on me when we were little and breathe his horrible morning breath in my FACE?? And I couldn't get up! What a meanie! Well, it's payback time bro! So there!! Hmmmph! Now you have to admit, this card is great, right? {snort} This is a Whipper Snapper Designs image that I've had forever! It's SO me! Tee-hee!

Okee dokee, that's it for me today! I hope you hens have a MAH-VAH-LOUS Monday!

Happy Birthday Bobby!

Morning' hens!! Did you all have a wonderful Christmas and New Year's Day? More importantly, did you MISS me? Tee-hee! I took a little time off to enjoy the holidays and it was so nice. Ah-hem, not being away from the hens, but the time off, that is. {snort!} Before I get to today's card, I just HAVE to tell you what Santa brought me... ready??? FLOYD! What's that? You don't know who Floyd is? Ok, that's understandable since some of you hens haven't been with me all that long. You see, last year for Christmas, Santa brought me Maxine (my iMac), so this year he brought me Floyd (my iPad2). And oh boy, am I ever lovin' Floyd! You hens do know who Maxine & Floyd are don't you? They're the Shoebox Greeting characters by Hallmark. I so LOVE Maxine! She's such a hoot! Her dog's name is Floyd! Tee-hee! I know, I have a twisted sense of humor! Ok, so now my Christmas tree is down and the house is all back to normal, that means it's time to get back to business right? Well first up on the agenda is my brother's birthday, which BTW is TODAY! Happy Birthday Bobby! And I made this little gem for him! Isn't it great? WOWZER!! I love this card! My brother is also a pilot so I thought this little Flying' Ace from High Hopes Stamps would be the perfect fit for him! I know he'll love it! My SIL has this bulletin board in her kitchen that's called the "Jeanie" board, and it has All my cards on it that I've made for them! Did I mention I LOVE my SIL? Mwah! LOL!
Ok, well that's it from the hen house today! I'm headed to my brother's house for a BBQ and some YUMMY birthday cake! "smack" I hope you hens have a wonderful weekend! {{{hen hugs}}}

Santa Claus is coming to town!

Mornin' hens! Are you hens as pooped as me? I don't know about you, but Christmas always seems to sneak up on me! Why is that? Well it certainly isn't like I don't know the date, but I have to say, once Halloween passes, it's like POOF! - Christmas!! Well, if this sounds familiar, I bet your Christmas cards never seem to turn out the way you'd planned, right? Yup, that's me! I have all these great ideas and then I'm so pressed for time, I can't do the cards the way I wanted. Are you hens all nodding' your heads? Ok then, The Spotted Chick comes to the rescue!!!
Here's a little card I made in mass quantities. Now, I'll be the first to tell you, I usually hate to mass produce cards, but for this time of year, it's the ONLY way to go!! LOL! So here's how to make this little cutie! First, cut your SU Real Red cardstock in 8.5 x 4.25 and then score and fold them in half to make a 4.25 square. Using your largest scalloped Nestie, cut through both pieces of the folded card stock making sure you leave 2 scallops partially outside of the die on the fold line. This will allow the two scalloped circles to remain attached. Then cut 4 smaller regular circles from your Nesties in alternating SU Very Vanilla, Real Red and some Christmas DP. I actually decided to emboss the smallest circle to add a little texture behind Santa's face. I cut multiple Santa heads from white, SU Real Red and some flesh colored card stock and then added some shading to each with my Copics. I added some shimmer to the white with some sheer shimmer spritz. Once dry, I assembled all the Santa heads.

Once you have all your pieces cut, it's time to put the whole card together. First, glue the cream circle to the front. Now take some ribbon and fold it in half to make a hanging loop. Glue it down on top of the cream circle and continue adding the remaining circles on top. Lastly, add Santa with a few dimensionals and add a bow at the base of the ribbon. That's it! Honestly, once you get all the pieces cut, the assembly process goes rather fast. I printed a bunch of the greetings for the inside and cut them out with the same circle Nestie I used for the front. Ok, well I hope this helps you with some of your own Christmas cards and of course that PINCH for time!
Don't forget, you still have today and tomorrow to enter my That's Krafty Thursday challenge. Have you seen all the fabulous entries???? I see another LOOOOONG night in my future!! Tee-hee! Have a Tee-rific Tuesday!! {{{hen hugs}}}

It's another DUDE!!

Mornin' hens!! Can you believe it, ANOTHER DUDE!! Tee-hee!! I couldn't resist resist using SUPER TROOPER TRIPP from Dude Time Doodles for my BIL's birthday card. Shooowee, ain't he a CUTIE?? Look at them arms!!! *swoooon* I even gave him a little 5 o'clock shadow too! LOL! My kinda man!! I printed the digital image onto some Neenah Classic Crest card stock and colored him with my Copics. I stitched the image panel to some SU Basic Black card stock and then adhered him to this great DP from Cosmo Cricket's Joy Ride collection. I printed the computer generated sentiment inside a speech bubble and attached it with a few pop dots.

Here's the inside: snort!

To finish, I punched a small hole in the image panel and threaded some stitched ribbon through for a cool "highway" look. LOL! Now, I'm off to the mall cuz it's BLACK FRIDAY! Woo-hoo!! Maybe I'll get lucky and SUPER TROOPER TRIPP will pull me over!! Bwah-ha-ha-ha-ha!!

That's Krafty Thursday #56

...uh make that Wednesday!! Tee-hee! Yeah, I know, I'm a day early but tomorrow is a fabulous holiday here in the States so this chick's gonna be busy, busy, busy. Tomorrow is Thanksgiving and the number one thing we do on Thanksgiving is - EAT!! Yup, that's right, I'm gonna be busy EATIN'!! Oh, and not just a little, nosiree, we eat a bunch!! Did I mention this is one of my favorite holidays? LOL! Uh-huh, this hen LOVES to eat! The main entree at Thanksgiving is of course, the TURKEY! Yum!! Me love me some turkey. Hmmm, a hen eatin' a turkey???? That's kinda like being a cannibal though isn't it? Eweeee, maybe I better give that some more thought. *snort* Ok, enough of my silliness, onto today's card. Which needless to say, is all about Thanksgiving. Meet Heath Hunter! Heath Hunter is one of Dude Time Doodles newer images and I just LOVE him to bits. Ain't he a catch? Bwah-ha-ha-ha! Check out those teeth! Pfffft! Ooh-ooh, and here's the best part.....

The inside: Tee-hee! Ain't it a hoot??

Did I mention that I'm in the SPOTLIGHT today over at the Dude Time Doodles blog?? Yay!! I was so exited when Tammy asked me to be their spotlight designer. Yippee-skippee! So I thought, what better time to start a new That's Krafty Thursday challenge!! Right? Now you hens know the drill, but for all the new hens just visiting the hen house for the first time, well shuck your shoes and put your little hen feet up and sit a spell. I'll tell you how it works. You see, it's real complicated to play along so pay close attention. First, you need to make a project and use some Kraft colored card stock on it. Then...... um, wait a minute..... then ......well lands sake, THAT'S IT??? Yup, that's all there is to it. Nothin' hard about it at all. When you're done, just link it up below before Wednesday, December 7th at 7:00pm EST and I'll pick my TOP CHICK PICKS and post them right here on my blog on December 8th. Oh and of course the winners will also receive Clara, The Krafty Chick badge for your blog side bar so the whole world can see that YOU are one KRAFTY CHICK! So, you ready to play along? Happy Birthday Ryan!

Mornin' hens! This little card is for my nephew Ryan. He turned a whoppin' 7 years old last Thursday. He plays a little Bball with his church so I thought I'd personalize a card just for him. After some searching, I finally found this image over at Digi My World. It came as part of a set but I loved the image and felt it was perfect for Ryan. The colors of his team are Gold and Blue so I colored the image to match. This DP is from an older Sassafras Lass paper pack and I just used my Cuttlebug embossing folder on some rust colored card stock to make the textured panel behind the image. Hopefully, it resembles a basketball! LOL! Okee dokee, that's it for me today. I hope you hens all have a wonderful Monday! {{{hen hugs}}}
