Better hold on to yer seats, cuz this is one AWESOME release.... just take a gander at this cute little baby!!! Is she some kinda cute or what??? and to top that off, guess what her name is???? Mavis!! SHUT UP!! Isn't that PERFECT?? Smiley

Ok, so I stamped Mavis (*sigh*) onto some Choice Buttercream CS and colored her with my Copics. I added some grass using Paulabella's grass technique (I'll never be as good as Paulabella but I keep trying - LOL!). I matted her to some Dark Chocolate CS and stitched around the edges. This DP is from October Afternoon and I used my EK Success border punch along the bottom and finished with two little buttons for some added interest.

Ok, onto to another cutie patootie Mavis image.... Ahhhhhh, I could just sit and stare at her all day. She just makes me smile.... Ok, so I stamped her onto the same Choice Buttercream CS and colored her with my Copics too! I cut her out with my Nesties and sponged some chalk ink around the edges. I matted her to some SU Sahara Sand cut from my petite scalloped Nesties and adhered her to this cute DP from Deja Views called Soda Pop. Just perfect for my little beach goin' Mavis!! LOL!! I used my SU scalloped border punch along the bottom and finished with this yummy striped ribbon tied in a cute little bow!! Okee dokee, that does it for me today. Be sure to leave a cluck below and let me know whatcha think of lil' Mavis and hop on over and check out all the SUPER CUTE images available today at Stamping Bella. It's Bellarific Friday!!

Hey again, hens!! He-he!! Fooled ya, didn't I???? It's a double post Friday!! You hens like double days?? Yeah, I thought so!! LOL!!

Today's Bellarific Friday theme was masculine/Father's Day. Hmmmm? Well, believe it or not, I don't have that many masculine images, so I decided to use Dylan from Stamping Bella. Dylan's COOL, kinda like "The Fonz" on Happy Days, huh? "Aaaay!!!" Bwah-ha-ha-ha!!!

Ok, enough with my craziness....
I stamped Dylan onto some Choice Buttercream CS and colored him with my Copics. I matted the image with some green CS then with SU Chocolate Chip, rounded the corners, sponged on a little chalk ink and then stitched around the edges. I used this DP from October Afternoon's Fly a Kite collection and matted it with the same green CS and some SU Very Vanilla before stitching it to the SU Chocolate Chip cardbase. To finish, I tied on this yummy Chocolate Chip striped ribbon from SU and stamped the sentiment underneath. Ok, this really is it for me today.... hehe. Be sure to leave a cluck below and let me know what you think of Dylan, ok? Oh and pop on over to Bloggabella to see the rest of the great ideas from the Bella Babes and the sistahood too!! They ALWAYS inspire me!

Next week's Bellarific Friday theme is HERE COMES SUMMER!! Woo-hoo!! I hope you hens have a wonderful relaxing holiday weekend. {{{hen hugs}}}

I matted her with some SU Real Red CS and stitched around the edges. This DP is from, none other than, October's Afternoon's Thrift Shop. (I'm addicted!!) I punched the bottom edge with my EK Success border punch and then matted it with some SU Very Vanilla and stitched around the edges as well. CONGRATULATIONS Cath, Michele and Jan!!! You are THREE KRAFTY CHICKS!

You can click on each of the thumbnails above and go to each winner's blog to see the full card along with all the details. While you're there, be sure to leave a cluck and a hen peck too! LOL!

Ok, onto my TKT #28 card, as GRAD week continues!!! Today I used a new digital image I picked up over at Hambo Stamps! Her name is Wee Henrietta Graduate and there's a Wee Henry too!! I LOVE these two. Of course, I had to have them both!! Although I only needed to make a "girl" grad card, I couldn't leave Henry behind!! No way, he might get lonely!! LOL!!

Ok, so I printed Henrietta onto some Choice Buttercream CS and colored her with my Copics. I cut her out with my Nesties and sponged some chalk ink around the edges. I matted her with some SU Basic Black CS and adhered her to this DP from Lasting Impressions. I punched a little border between the two DP's and then stitched around the edges. The sentiment is computer generated and I punched it out with my circle punch and attached it with a brad. To finish, I tied this great saddle stitched ribbon into a cute bubbly bow and there ya have this week's final GRAD card! Now That's Krafty!! I hope I gave you a few ideas for your own little graduates this week. Be sure to leave me a cluck below and let me know what you think of her, ok?

You're appreciated...

Still on the school theme but a little break from the GRADS... LOL! I made this card as a teacher thank you. I just LOVE this big 'ol Polky Apple from Stamping Bella. I've had it for awhile but never found the right opportunity to use it until now! A teacher thank you, HELLLOOOOO???? Isn't that perfect?? I'm just so STINKIN' smart sometimes, I scare myself!! LOL!! Yeah right!!

Ok, so I stamped my apple onto some Choice Buttercream CS and colored it with my Copics. This DP is from October Afternoon's Thrift Shop collection. As you know, I so LOVE this line!! After I finished this card, I thought it reminded me of a Mary Engelbreit drawing, ya know with the checkerboard edges?? Love her style.

To finish my little thank you card, I matted the image with some SU Real Red CS and then again with the black polka dot DP cut with my large scalloped circles. I tied on some twill ribbon and finished with a red button and some black twine. I just LOVE it!! Do you?? Leave a cluck below and lemme know, ok? Mwah to all the hens who leave clucks!!

Don't forget, tonight's the deadline for my That's Krafty Thursday challenge. Come on lil' hens, get those cards linked up below on my May 20th post and you just might be the next Krafty Chick!! Woo-hoo!! Check back tomorrow for the new TKT winners!! Have a great Wednesday! {{{hen hugs}}}

Grad #2!

Ha-ha!! See I told ya it was GRAD week in the hen house!! This is "diplomabella" from Stamping Bella. Isn't she great? I haven't used her since my own little baby graduated so it was high time I inked her up!! Our school colors here in my hometown are royal blue and white. Man alive, I didn't think this color would be that difficult but it sure was for me!! I ended up using my Prismacolor pencils to color her because I don't have that many Copics and certainly don't have any this shade of blue. I'm definitely no pencil competition for my good friends Meahni and Paula!! Bwah-ha-ha-ha!!

Ok, so I stamped diplomabella onto some Choice Buttercream CS and colored her with my Prismacolor pencils. I cut her out with my Nestabilities and sponged some chalk ink around the edges. I punched two slots for the ribbon with my SU horizontal slot punch, threaded this royal blue ribbon through and tied it in a cute little bow with a button in the center. Okee dokee, that's it for me today, I hope you hens all have a SUPER DUPER Tuesday! Be sure to leave a cluck below and let me know what you think of her, ok? {{{hen hugs}}}

Hoot and Holler - You're a Scholar!

Hey there lil' hens.... did ya have a good weekend??? I hope so. It's SUPER hot here in Florida and the LOVE BUGS are baaaaack!! Nassty!!So, needless to say, I stayed inside!!

I made several graduation cards that I'll be posting this week, so I'm calling this GRAD week!! LOL!! Ok, so here is the first one I made. This is Owen from the U R A Hoot set from Cornish Heritage Farms. This set, by Kim Hughes, includes Owen the Owl and all sorts of hats for him. There's a Santa hat, a birthday hat and of course this grad cap too with all sorts of sentiments as well. It's a really cute and versatile set to add to your collection, besides, who doesn't LOVE Owen??? Is he a doll or what? Lookit those big 'ol eyes!

Ok, so this DP is from Recollection's Autumn collection and includes lots of earthy tones so I thought it coordinated perfectly with Owen. I stamped Owen onto some Choice Buttercream CS and colored him with my Copics. I cut him out with my circle Nestie and sponged a little chalk ink around the edges. I stamped the branch onto some woodgrain DP from this same paperpack and then cut it out with my scissors. I used my Exacto knife and cut around his little toes and then slide the branch underneath them. I stitched around all the edges of the DP and then tied this plaid ribbon into a cute little bow. Ok, that's it for me today. Be sure to leave a cluck below and let me know what ya think, ok?

Just a quick reminder - my That's Krafty Thursday challenge is open until this Wednesday evening at 7:00pm. I'll select my TOP THREE KRAFTY CHICKS and include thumbnails of the winning cards on my blog post on Thursday. Come on and play along with the hens. Nothin' hard 'bout this challenge.... just use Kraft CS somewhere on your card. That's it!! Link your card to my May 20th post and check back on Thursday to see if you're the next KRAFTY CHICK!! Have a great Monday!! {{{hen hugs}}}

Time for a Catch the Bug Challenge!

Woo hoo, it's the weekend!! Now that's what I'm talkin' bout!! Man, I didn't think it was ever gonna get here! So whatchu hens got planned for today? How bout a lil' blog surfin??? You hens up for it??? Oooooh, yer in for a treat, cuz the Bugaboo Stamps Design Team has been hard at work to bring you some ideas for this week's Catch the Bug Challenge - "Male Call with a Sketch" to boot!!

Ya know with Father's Day right around the corner, this is a perfect opportunity to make a card AND play along in the Catch the Bug Challenge!! Now you hens wouldn't dare BUY a card for that special man in your life, right??? Ok-ok, that's what I thought! Just checkin'... Awwwwwk!!

So for my card today, I chose Gus.... ain't he great??? Oh man, I LOVE Gus but then I say that about all the images over at Bugaboo Stamps. Seriously, I have no idea how Jodie keeps coming up with them but she does. She's AMAZING! I printed Gus onto some Choice Buttercream CS and colored him with my Copics. I cut him out with my Oval Nesties and I sponged some chalk ink around the edges. I did a little video tutorial on this technique (HERE) if you'd like to see how this is done. This DP is from Cosmo Cricket's Mr. Campy collection and I matted it with some PTI Dark Chocolate CS. I punched the edges with my Fiskars Apron Lace border punch, added a few brads and tied this twill into a simple knot. Wouldn't what my DH to complain about a bow on a guy card!! Pffft!!! To finish, I printed the sentiment, punched it out with my circle punch and added some Glossy Accents to Gus' glasses and his bottle of beer. Ha-ha, LOVE that!! So you may have guessed by now, this is my Dad's Father's Day card. I just know he's gonna have a fit over it! Now, if I can only hold out until Father's Day to give it to him. Uggggh!! Okee dokee that's it for me today, be sure to check out the rest of the Bugaboo Design Team for their take on this Male Call/Sketch Challenge. I can't wait to see what you come up with too! Hope you hens all have a great weekend! {{{hen hugs}}}

It's Bellarific Friday!

Woo-hoo!! It's FINALLY FRIDAY!!! And of course you know that means it's Bellarific Friday too!
Double Woo-Hoo!!

Today's Bellarific Friday theme was a SKETCH by lil' ol me!!! I was SO SUPER DUPER proud of my sketch. I hope you hens were able to play along with the Bella Babes this week!! I can't wait to see what they've come up with (you know how talented they are!).

Ok, so I decided to use bffABUGS from Stamping Bella for my image today. Aren't these two just the cutest little best friends ever?? I really LOVE how this card turned out. Everything went together just as planned. Ahhhh, I LOVE it when that happens! This DP is from A2Z. Now I had never heard of this company before, but I won an entire paper pack from my LSS a LONG time ago and this is some of the paper in the pack. I really like the fun colors in it too! So I stamped the image onto some SU Very Vanilla and colored them with my Copics. I stitched the image onto some SU Chocolate Chip and matted the DP with it as well. I added three brads to the bottom left corner and tied on this green satin ribbon to finish. I think it's ADORABLE, whatchu think? Leave me a cluck below and let me know, k? Oh, and be sure to check out the rest of the Bella Babes and the sistahood over at Bloggabella for some more fantastic ideas using my sketch. Next week's Bellarific Friday theme is Masculine/Father's Day. Email your cards to Emily by Thursday evening for a chance to win some Bella Bucks!! Yay!!

Oh and don't forget my That's Krafty Challenge too! You have until next Wednesday to submit your card using Mr. Linky on my May 20th post below. You might just be the next Krafty Chick!! {{{hen hugs}}}

TE Product Focus & TKT27

Hey lil' hens!! It's time for another Taylored Expressions Product Focus. This month's Product Focus is STICKERS!! Now I must say... stickers are not something I use very often so this was a good experiment for me. The sticker selection I'm featuring today is from October Afternoon's Thrift Shop collection. Oh, be still my heart.... Free Smiley Courtesy of www.millan.net I SO LOVE this collection of papers, so these stickers were a great addition. Ok, so after staring at all the sentiments on this sheet of stickers, I finally eyeballed this one here and thought, "YES!" this would go perfect with Taylor's new set released this month called, "Hangin Out". So I grabbed the little dress in the set and stamped it onto a sheet of DP from the October Afternoon's Thrift Shop 8x8 paper pad and cut it out with my scissors. I added some shadows to the dress with my Copics and then adhered the dress to the Choice Buttercream CS that I had cut out with my Scalloped Square Nestabilities and matted with a square of Kraft CS. I matted each DP with the Choice Buttercream CS and also punched the bottom with my Martha Stewart border punch. I stitched around the edges of the DP, tied this pretty ribbon into a cute bubbly bow, and adhered the piece to the Kraft cardbase finishing with my sticker sentiment. I really LOVE how this card turned out and I can see where the rest of the stickers on this sheet are gonna come in real handy as I continue to use this OA paper pad. I know one thing, they sure make for a quick sentiment and added the perfect finishing touch to this card. I LOVE it when a plan comes together!! LOL!! Ok, that's it for me today... be sure to leave a cluck below and let me know what ya think, k?

Hmmmm??? You waitin' for sumthin' else??? Oh, you say it's That's Krafty Thursday??? Well, wouldya lookit the time!! Lands sake, I clean forgot... Bwah-ha-ha-ha!! Shoot, I wouldn't forget all the hens wantin' to play TKT in the hen house!! So ya ready??? Wanna be the next Krafty Chick?? Come on, get that Kraft cardstock off those shelves and whoop a card, k? Inching by with a birthday hi!!

So how'z da hens today'??? Yeah I know, it's only Wednesday... and this week feels like it's just creeping by don't it??? Geez, come on weekend!! Well that gave me an idea, I thought what better image to show you today than this little inchworm just INCHING by.... LOL!! Ain't he a cutie??? This is one of the many images in the Taylored Expressions Garden Party Critters set. I just love all the little bugs and critters in this set. I also decided to use the Garden Party Project Pantry Kit as well. So many fun colors in this kit, they just make me wanna SMILE!! Now, I've been thinking of this sentiment in my head ever since I saw him, so I typed it up in MSWord and printed it straight onto the DP. Then I matted the DP with some Choice Buttercream CS and stitched around the edges. I stamped the image onto some Choice Buttercream CS as well, and colored it with my Copics. I added the green grass with my Prismacolor pencils but of course it looks nothing like Paulabella's. She's so STINKIN' good with those pencils!! *sigh* Ok, so I stitched around the edges of the image and then punched two holes on each side and threaded this green polka dot ribbon through and tied it in a little knot. To finish, I added a few white brads to the upper right corner and there ya have a SUPER CUTE and FUN little birthday card!! Be sure to leave a cluck below and let me know what ya think. Have a great Wednesday and just think, before ya know it, it'll be That's Krafty Thursday and time for another challenge!!! Woo-hoo!!! Get that Kraft CS ready!! See ya back in the hen house tommorow!! {{{hen hugs}}}

I would NEVER forget your birthday...

Ummm... I just forgot to remember!! LOL!!
I don't know why it took me so long to order little Elli-phant from Stamping Bella. I think she's SO stinkin' cute!! Ok, this is one of those cards that I REALLY like. Funny how that is, but there are just some that I adore and this is one!!! Ahhhhhh!! Free Smiley Courtesy of www.millan.net

Ok, so I stamped little Elli onto some SU Very Vanilla CS and colored her with my Copics. I cut her out with my scalloped Nesties and sponged a little chalk ink around the edges. I matted this DP from My Minds Eye with some SU Real Red CS and stitched around the edges. To finish, I added this cute red button threaded with some cream colored twine and a few red brads on the bottom. Ain't she CUTE?? Ok, I hope you have a SUPER DUPER Tuesday and don't forget to leave a cluck below and lemme know whatcha think, k? {{{hen hugs}}}

Oh and just a quick reminder, ya still got time to play along with the Babes for this week's Bellarific Friday. This week's theme is sketch by lil' ol' ME!! It's Anything But a Card Monday!!

Happy Monday hens!! This is my first opportunity to participate in the Anything But a Card Monday over at Catch the Bug so I sure do hope you like my project!! This was really hard for me... seems my little brain only knows how to score CS and color!! LOL!! I'm definitely outta my comfort zone here. YIKES!! Smiley

Ok, so I decided to make a PAPERWEIGHT for my desk at work. I knew this JJ image from Bugaboo Stamps would be perfect for it too!

Now since this is a glass paperweight with a beveled edge, it was a little difficult to photograph without it looking distorted, but it's really cute IRL!! I started by printing my image onto some SU Whisper White CS and colored her with my Copics. I traced the size of the glass gem onto my image and cut it out. Next, I applied a thin layer of Glossy Accents to the back of my glass gem and then placed it on top of my image. I used a credit card to get the air bubbles out and then adhered a piece of cork on the back using the same method. Super simple and what a cute gift idea too!! Ok, be sure to leave a cluck below and let me know what ya think, k? Have a great Monday! {{{hen hugs}}}

Red Poppies for you!

Hi there!! I know, it's Sunday and I usually don't post on Sunday's, but I have a rather full week ahead in the hen house so I thought I'd give you hens a little peek from my weekend crafting. You wouldn't know it by lookin' at it (at least I hope not!), but this is the result of a trashed card!! Yup, I have cards like that too! I dunno why that is but every now and then, I get finished with a card and then as I'm looking at it, I just can't stand it. So, that's where this card came in.... which btw, I LOVE now!! I actually salvaged the polka dot piece and ribbon from the original card and the rest went straight in the trash!! Anyhoo, momma hen is happy now!! LOL!! Ya know, if momma ain't happy, ain't nobody happy!!
Free Smiley Courtesy of www.millan.net

This image is called "Red Poppies" from Stamping Bella. I stamped it with Dark Chocolate Hybrid Ink from PTI and colored it with my Copics. I liked the look of the brown ink against this DP as opposed to using my usual black. The DP is from My Minds Eye and I matted it with some SU Soft Suede. I stitched around the edges and tied this beautiful red grosgrain ribbon into a cute bubbly bow. To finish, I stamped the sentiment, which comes with "Gigawatt" from Stamping Bella, and punched it out with my Martha Stewart tag punch, then added a few white touches to the flower centers with my white gel pen. Ok, that's it for me today. Be sure to leave a cluck below and let me know whatcha think, k? I hope you enjoy the rest of your Sunday and I'll see ya back in the hen house tomorrow!! {{{hen hugs}}}

It's a colorful Bellarific Friday!!

Woo-hoo!! It's Bellarific Friday!! Today's Bellarific Friday theme was a color challenge using Chocolate, Light Pink and Celery Green!! I used another one of Mo's image from Stamping Bella. I just LOVE this little girl, don't you? Uh, what??? NO BOW!!! AGAIN??? I dunno....that's three in one week. Go figure?? Ok, so I stamped my little girl onto some SU Whisper White CS and colored her with my Copics. I matted her with some SU Chocolate Chip and stitched around the edges. This DP is from Three Bugs in a Rug and I thought it went perfect with this challenge. I used my SU scalloped border punch along the bottom edge and sewed some lace across the center. To finish, I used three SU Build a Brads with some of the DP to make custom brads to match!! Man, whoever came up with that idea was one smart CHICK!! I just LOVE those things!!

Next week's Bellarific Friday theme is a sketch challenge from YOURS TRULY!!! Come on and play along using my sketch and a Stamping Bella image. Then submit your card to Emily by next Thursday and you could win some cool Bella Bucks!! Yippee!!

Ok, that's it for me today. I hope you hens all have a wonderful weekend!! {{{hen hugs}}}

That's Krafty Thursday 26

Happy That's Krafty Thursday lil' hens!! OMG, I'm gettin' SO addicted to these TKT challenges. We had some new hens this time and I'm ever so grateful for those of you who are participating in my lil' challenges. I LOVE visiting your blogs and reading each and every post. It's such a treat for me!! Soooooo, ya wannna know who won???? Well, everyone was a winner but here are the That's Krafty Thursday TOP THREE!!

CONGRATULATIONS Annika, Paula and Rachel!!! You're three Krafty Chicks!!!
Be sure to click on each image above and see the full card along with all the card details. I'm in AWE of each one. While you're there, be sure to leave them a cluck and a {{{hen hug}}} too!!

Oh, wait a minute, I have a card to show you!! I got so excited about my new TKT Krafty Chicks I almost forgot to show ya muh card!! Isn't this little baby cute??? My daughter needed a baby card for a friend and asked me if I'd make one for her. Hmmmm, duh!! Of course I will!! So she tells me about her friend and how much she LOVES the beach and even on her baby registry, she listed baby suntan lotion!! So my daughter decides to give her a beach bag full of beach things for the baby (swimsuit, toys, suntan lotion, etc.). With this in mind, I'm thinking I need to make the card look like summer but with a baby girl too....

Nope I'm not crazy, I do realize that this is "Take a stand Kirby" from Stamping Bella but I never bought "Take a Stand Maya" so I had to make Kirby "girly". Ehh, the new mama will never know. hehe!! So I colored him/her with my Copics and used my white gel pen to add some polka dots to the shirt. Hey, what can I say, it worked!! Shhh, I know there's a little car on the shirt but I sorta think it looks like the top of a chicken's head with sunglasses!! LOL!! Ok, so for the DP, I decided on this Cosmo Cricket Snorkel collection with these fun summer colors.

Yup, definitely not the traditional baby girl pink card but I think it's rather COOL, don't you?? Be sure to leave a cluck below and let me know, k? I hope you all have a wonderful day and get ready to kick off another TKT challenge on the 20th!! Awwwwk!

Rubber Stamp - Stamping Bella; DP - Cosmo Cricket Snorkel Collection; CS - SU Kraft & Real Red, Nestabilities; Ribbon - Stamp Simply Ribbon; Fiskars Apron Lace Border Punch

You CURED yet!!

LOL!! I just LOVE this image!! It's from an older Stampin Up set I bought awhile ago called "Farm Fever". I don't think it's available anymore but it's a GREAT set to have for Get Well cards.

So, I made this card for none other than, my BFF Karen, who just happened to be in the hospital. NOPE, this isn't a repeat post, she was in the hospital AGAIN!! Good grief!! I told her when I went to see her that if she wanted a card, all she had to do was ASK!!! LOL!!

All kidding aside, she had me pretty worried this time around, but everything turned out A-OK! I know it was her FAITH that saw her through. You know the old sayin', "to the world you're just one person, but to one person you are the world!" That's how I feel about her and I'm so happy that she's ok. Now, I just can't wait for her to get back to work. I'm SO missin' my SUBWAY Thursdays!! hehe!!

Ok, so I stamped the image onto some SU Very Vanilla CS and colored it with my Copics. I matted it with SU Real Red and SU Soft Suede and stitched around the edges. This DP is from October Afternoon's Farm Fresh collection. How perfect is that? To coordinate with the country farm look of the card, I tied this great twill ribbon into a cute bubbly bow! See, I told ya they'd be back!! LOL!! Ok, that's it for me today, be sure to leave a cluck below and lemme know whatcha think. Hope you hens all have a GREAT Wednesday and don't forget to enter my THAT'S KRAFTY THURSDAY CHALLENGE. It closes tonight at 7:00pm. You've still got time to get those cards in... you could be the next Krafty Chick! I'll announce the winners tomorrow!!! {{{hen hugs}}}

Correction: I had originally stated that this stamp was from Whipper Snapper but as my SUH-WEET friend Anna Wight pointed out, it's from Stampin Up. OMG, I'm SO embarrased!! Of all the images for me to make a mistake on!! *sigh* Anyhoo, I've corrected the post now. Although, I wasn't kiddin' when I said Whipper Snapper had a lot of cute images!! LOL!!

I just LOVE you!!!

This image reminds me SO much of my little niece!! She's such a little cutie, I could just eat her up! I decided I wanted to use one of the new Mo's images from Stamping Bella for her birthday card. I LOVE how this card turned out. I know da hens are gonna think somethin's wrong with me cuz here I've done TWO posts with no bubbly bow!! OMG!! I know, I'm sufferin' from withdrawals too, so they'll be back soon. Hehe!!

Ok, so I stamped the image in Momento Tuxedo Black ink onto some SU Very Vanilla CS and colored it with my Copics. I stitched the image onto some Prisma orange CS and adhered it to this DP from My Minds Eye. I stitched the DP to the same Prisma orange CS and stamped the sentiment (which incidently comes with the stamp) and punched it out with my SU Word Window punch. I threaded some twill ribbon through this cute orange button (I really like this look!) and that's it. Super cute card though, don't ya think? Be sure to leave a cluck below and let me know, ok? Mwah to all da hens that leave clucks!!! {{{hen hugs}}}

Yew'z mine - ALL mine!!

Hi there!! Happy Monday to ya! Did da hens all have a good Mother's Day? I sure hope so. I had a FANTABULOUS one!! My little chicklet and hubby took me and my MIL out to eat on Saturday and I picked this great seafood restaurant right on the water. I had been dying to try the Low Country Boil and my mouth was just waterin' for it by the time we got there.... and lemme tell ya, it was EXCELLENT!! Man, I already wanna go back. YUM!! Then on Sunday, we went to church and went out for breakfast afterwards. And like if that wasn't enough food for me, my hubby made me steaks on the grill with the rest of my shrimp I didn't finish from Saturday night. OH MY GOODNESS, I might not be able to fit in my clothes for awhile!! Ah shucks, Mother's Day only comes once a year, and I do LOVE being showered with LOVE (and food!) LOL!!

Ok, onto my card.... So you might remember this card from last year, those hens that were following me back then. Well my BFF Karen remembered that card I made for my anniversary and asked me to make one for her hubby for their anniversary. I think they are an ADORABLE couple don't you??? This stamp is from Eat Cake Graphics and I stamped it onto some SU Very Vanilla cardstock and colored them with my Copics. I matted the image with some SU Cool Carribean and stitched around the edges. This DP is from Cosmo Cricket's Early Bird collection and I matted it to the same SU Cool Carribean and stitched it to the SU Natural Ivory cardbase. To finish, I tied some scrap ribbon through a button, added the computer generated sentiment and a little Glossy Accents to his glasses. Cute huh??? I just LOVE it!! Ok, be sure to leave a cluck below and let me know what you think, k? Have a wonderful Monday! {{{hen hugs}}}

Hi ya'll and a HAPPY FRIDAY to ya!! Today is RELEASE DAY at Taylored Expressions!! Waaahhh-hooooo! Today I'm featuring one of the Father's Day A La Carte images. I thought this was a great idea that Taylor came up with, to make some of her stamps available as single purchases. Isn't this car cool? This is SO perfect for a Father's Day card, don't ya think? I paired it with this DP, which I'm sorry to say, I have no idea where it came from, but I think it's perfect with this CLASSIC image. There are 2 sentiments, "Happy Father's Day" and "You're a real CLASSIC" that come with it as well.

Next, I have another card to show using the Garden Party Critters set (sentiment only). All the supplies here are from the Garden Party Project Pantry. This kit includes this super cute sheet of cardstock stickers. Now, normally I'm not a huge fan of stickers but would you look at these??? SHUT UP! It's release day at Bugaboo Stamps!

OMG!! Have you caught your breath yet??? Seriously, every time I see this image and that sentiment, I fall off my chair laughing so hard!! As soon as I saw this image from Bugaboo Stamps, I knew immediately, THIS WAS GOING TO BE MY MOM'S MOTHER'S DAY CARD! Now my Mom does NOT have the sense of humor I do, so she may look at me like I've lost my noodles BUT this is SO ME!! She knows how crazy I am, so she'll understand!! LOL!!

Ok, so of course, this is STELLA!! My absolute FAVORITE line at Bugaboo Stamps. You have no idea how addicted I am to them. (Jodie will be able to retire soon!) LOL!! I printed Stella out on some SU Very Vanilla CS and colored her with my Copics. I stitched her to some PTI Dark Chocolate CS and sponged a little chalk ink around the edges. This DP is from Bo Bunny and I just love the oranges, pinks and browns in it. It was PERFECT for my little orange CAT! I printed the sentiment and punched it out with my SU Curly Label punch. To finish, I added a few brads to the upper left corner and tied on a cute bubbly bow! Ain't she GREAT?? Man, I LOVE this card!! Let's hope my Mom will too! hehe! Have a SUPER DUPER Tuesday and stop by Bugaboo Stamps and take a gander at ALL the great new images. They're AMAZING - I tell you! {{{hen hugs}}}

Oh the places you'll go!!

Hi there lil hens!! Happy Monday to ya!! I hope you all had a nice relaxing weekend. Isn't this little guy the cutest??? This is "Bye Bye Boy", one of the new releases from Stamping Bella. If you are familiar with Mo Manning's digital images, you know how AWESOME her work is right? Well, Stamping Bella is now carrying a Mo Manning line "in rubbah"!! Woo-hoo!! I just LOVE Mo's images, don't you? Ok, so I stamped my little guy onto some SU Very Vanilla and colored him with my Copics. I cut him out with my Nestabilities and sponged some chalk ink around the edges. This DP is from October Afternoon's Farm Fresh collection. LOVE October Afternoon!! I stitched the image and the DP to some Prisma CS in blue and tawny. Now, since this is a GUY card, I opted not to do a bubbly bow... Free Smiley Courtesy of www.millan.net That drives my hubby nuts when I put bows on guy cards. WHATEVER!! Ok, so instead, I tied a teensy weensy bit of ribbon (hehe) onto a button with some twine. Ok. that does if for me today. Be sure to leave me a cluck below and let me know whatcha think, k? Have a GREAT day! {{{hen hugs}}}

Supplies:
