Happy Birthday Ene!

Mornin' hens!  Today is my co-worker Ene's birthday!  Ok, so if you haven't figured it out by now, I've got lots of birthdays occurring in August/September.  LOL!  Oh, and there's more coming....

This is one of the new Art Impression stamps that are available in Michaels.  I think there are 5 in all, and yes, I have them!!  Tee-hee!  Oh, I could never resist an Art Impressions stamp!  Love 'em!  I think Ene will love this one!  Ok, so I started by stamping the image onto some Neenah Classic Crest CS and colored it with my Copics.  I created the clouds by die cutting a cloud template and then sponged some distress ink lightly on the top.  I repeated this several times until the background was complete.   Next, I cut the image out and adhered it with a few foam dimensionals.  To finish, I rounded the corners and stamped the sentiment on a die cut flag.  Okee dokee, that's it for me today.  I hope you hens have a GREAT day!  {{{hen hugs}}}

Happy Birthday Bayley!

Mornin' hens! Today is my Grand-dog Bayley's birthday.  He's a white lab and is just the cutest fur baby ever!  I wanted to use a stamp that sort of resembled him, so I dug through my stash and found this one from Eat Cake Graphics and I thought it was perfect!   OMG, is this card too cute or what?  Love, love, love it!  And it's SO Bayley too!! LOL!

I stamped the image onto some Neenah Classic Crest CS and colored it with my Copics.  I cut the image out using my Nesties and sponged some chalk ink around the edges.  Here's a tutorial on this if you haven't seen it.  Then I stitched around the edges of each panel and tied some grosgrain ribbon around the middle.

I added some Glossy Accents to his mask and water splashes, and then rounded the bottom corners.  To finish, I stamped the sentiment and added a few DIY enamel dots.  Okee dokee, that's it for me today. I hope you have a GREAT day!  {{{hen hugs}}}

Happy Birthday LouLou!

Mornin' hens!  Today is my good friend LouLou's birthday!  She has an adorable four legged friend named Ginger so when I saw this stamp in the dollar bin at Michaels, I knew I had to have it for her birthday card.

This was a super simple card to put together and I thought it turned out adorable! I stamped the image onto some Neenah Classic Crest CS and colored it with Copics.  Then I cut the image out and adhered it to the card base using a few foam dimensionals.  I added some grounding using my Prismacolor pencils. Then I used a curved edge die and cut the bottom edge of the balloon from some polka dot DP.  I adhered this piece with foam dimensionals as well, then I trimmed the top edge of the balloon to match the top edge of the card.

 I free hand cut a triangle and attached it to the bottom of the balloon and attached some string to it and to the pup's paw too!  To finish, I stamped the sentiment and added some faux stitching.
That's it for me today!  I hope you have a GREAT day!  {{{hen hugs}}}

Have a Moo-tiful Birthday!

Mornin' hens!  Here's a little card I made for my BESTEST friend Karen!  Isn't this card a hoot?  Well, that's a given since it has two of my fav things "kraft cardstock" and "cows"!  Tee-hee!

Ok, so here's how this little cutie came together.  I stamped the image onto some Neenah Classic Crest CS and colored it with my Copics.  Then using the coordinating die, I cut the image out but stopped short of the bottom edge.  I did the same with the photo frame die too.  I used my xacto knife to finish cutting the bottom edge on the inside of the frame, so both the cow and frame are one piece!

I sponged the frame with some distress ink and then added some Glossy Accents to the cows eyes.  I matted the striped DP with a coordinating piece of brown DP and cut the same size square behind the photo frame so the brown DP would show through behind the cow.  I wrapped some red ribbon around the photo frame and added some DIY enamel dots to the bottom.  Okee dokee, that's it for me today!  I hope you hens have a great day!  {{{hen hugs}}}
