That's Krafty Thursday #36

Woo-hoo!! It's TKT#36 AND my sis' REAL birthday too!! Wow, she's gets double billin' this week. Oh my, look what I've gone and done... she won't be able to fit her head through the door now. Tee-hee! Love ya sis!
Ok, so this is the card my Mom asked me to make for her, to give to my sis. I used this cute little digital image from Mo's Digital Pencil Shop called Birthday Hamster. You hens may remember me telling you that my sis LOVES mice, so I sorta thought this little guy could pass. Whatcha think? Aaah, she'll never know the difference. It ain't like she's got 'em running around so she can tell 'em apart! LOL! Although, I think this guy's had a little bit too much cake. His belly looks like mine! Bwah-ha-ha-ha!

Ok, so I printed my image on some Fanboy CS and colored it with my Copics. I used a few Post It Notes to mask along the edges of the image panel and sponged some chalk ink around the edges. Then I matted the image on some SU Expresso CS and stitched around the edges. Of course what's a cupcake without SPRINKLES?? Unheard of!! So I added some shine to them with my glaze pens in different colors. This DP is from My Minds Eye and I matted it with the same Expresso CS and stitched it as well. I printed the computer generated sentiment onto some scrap CS and cut it out with my SU Large Oval punch and matted it with the Expresso CS punched with my SU Scalloped Oval punch. To finish, I tied on this pretty grograin ribbon and added a button tied with twine on top! Be sure to leave a cluck below and let me know whatcha think, okay? Have a TERRIFIC Thursday and I'll see ya back in the hen house bright and early tomorrow for Bellarific Friday! It's Christmas in July!!! Jingle Bells, Jingle Bells, Jingle all the way!!! O what fun it is to stamp and meet with the SISTAHS to play, HEY!! {{{hen hugs}}}

Winter Wishes

Hold on Bronte!!!! That'd be me... LOL!! Holding on for dear life and looking for someone to save me!! And would you look at Bella, she's just havin' the time of her life with no cares in the world! This is "skating", another digital image from Mo's Digital Pencil Shop. Love, love, love Mo's images!!

I printed the image onto some SU Very Vanilla CS and colored it with my Copics. I matted the image with SU Cool Carribean CS and then again onto some SU Very Vanilla. This DP is from Collage Press and I can't begin to tell you how much I'm LOVIN' this paper pack!! I just wish I would have gotten it earlier so I could have made more cards with it. I chose two different patterns and separated them with a piece of SU Very Vanilla punched with my Martha Stewart border punch. I stitched the DP's to the mat of SU Cool Carribean and then tied this WONDERFUL polka dot ribbon into a cute bow before adhering the matted piece to the card base of SU Very Vanilla. I added some Diamond Dust to the ice and added the sentiment to finish it up! This is Christmas card #47 if you're keeping track. Just a few more to go! Woo-hoo!! Thanks for stopping by today. Be sure to leave a comment below and let me know what you think of her, ok? Have a GREAT Monday!

Jingle Bells, Jingle Bells, Jingle all the way!!

I am SO in the Christmas spirit. And to add to the mood, we FINALLY got a cool front here in Florida!! Notice I said, "COOL front". Yep, that's about it, but you should see us, we're all bundled up like it's sub zero weather!! Man, us Southern folk don't take to well to temps that dip below 70!! If it's in the 60's, you can bet your bottom dollar the parkas are out!! Of course, by 10:00am were peeling off clothes like nobody's bizness!! That's one thing to remember about Florida weather, ALWAYS dress in layers!!! Cuz it NEVER stays cold very long.

Ok, so here's Christmas card #45 for those of you keeping track. I'm almost there!!! This is Bella and Bronte singing Jingle Bells, from Mo's Digital Pencil. I can't get enough of Mo's images. Aren't they the cutest. I just love the detail Mo puts into her drawings. Did you notice her striped leggings. That's SO me!! I do love crazy socks!! So I printed my digital image onto some SU Very Vanilla CS and colored with my Copics. I wanted to add some "fuzzy" to her hat so I decided to try some of my Flower Soft in ivory to the brim. I think it looks so cute. I also added some Diamond Dust to the snow for a really cool icy look. (It looks so pretty IRL) I stitched the image onto some SU Real Red CS and then trimmed it close using my decorative scissors. The card base is SU Very Vanilla CS and I just got this new Collage Press DP in over the weekend, so I had to use it for my last few cards. I matted it with the SU Real Red CS and stitched around the edges. To finish, I added this cute SU polka dot ribbon and a few punched snowflakes dipped in Diamond Dust for a little more ice. So whaddaya think? I just LOVE it!! Be sure to leave a comment below and you all have a SUPER DUPER Tuesday!

~Oh what fun it is to ride in a one horse open sleigh, hey!!!~

Meowy Christmas!!

Whoa!! Did you guys realize it's December already???? Holy cow, where'd November go??? Now seriously, doesn't it seem like Halloween was just last week? Oh the pressure to get these Christmas cards done.... Yikes!! {biting nails}

Aren't these little kitties the cutest?? Oh, can't forget the little mouse down in the front. I'm sure he's carrying his tune too!! This is the digital image "singing so beautiful" from Mo's Digital Pencil Shop. I printed them onto some SU Very Vanilla and colored them with my Copics. I matted them with some DCWV burgundy CS and stitched around the edges. The card base is SU Chocolate Chip and this DP is from Cosmo Cricket and matted with the same burgundy CS punched with my Martha Stewart border punch across the bottom edge. I stitched around the edges of this piece as well and tied on this striped ribbon from Stamp Simply Ribbon. To finish I added some gold Stickles to the little kitty's collar and that's Christmas card #42!! Be sure to leave a comment below and I hope you have a SUPER Tuesday!!

Happy Birthday Jesus!

Isn't this a SWEET image? I just fell in love with it when I saw it. This is Em from Mo's Digital Pencil Shop. She has the cutest images there and I love that they're digital!! How cool is that? For one thing, you have your image INSTANTLY (no waiting for your order to arrive), second - you can size it to whatever size you need for your project, and lastly - NO STORAGE!! See - I told you it was COOL!! I picked up several images recently and I hope to use more of them as I continue with my Christmas cards.

So for my card today, I began by printing my image onto some Classic Crest CS first. I had already set aside this pretty paper from Basic Grey to use and then I colored my image to match. I sponged on some Colorbox Chalk Ink to age the edges of the image and then I matted her onto some SU Chocolate Chip and then again on SU Cool Carribean. The DP is double sided - LOVE THAT! So the bottom polka dots you see are the reverse side of this paper. I stitched around the edges of the DP and the matted image too. I cut a scalloped circle with my Nesties from the SU Chocolate Chip and placed that behind my matted image. I printed out the sentiment, applied some chalk ink to it as well and punched it out with my EK Success scalloped circle. I tied on this pretty satin ribbon and there you have Christmas card #32! I hope you like her, I think she's adorable. Leave me a comment below and let me know what you think, 'k?
I LOVEEEE comments!!!

Okee dokee, have a SUPER DUPER Tuesday and I'm SLEEPIN' IN tomorrow cuz' I've got the day off!! Yay!!!
