Mornin' hens!! Thought I'd give you a little more inspiration for those of you who haven't submitted a project yet in my
That's Krafty Thursday challenge! Remember, we've gotta beat 38 entries this time! Yup that's right, I'm challenging ALL the hens now! No hiding, you know who you are!! LOL! Come on and play along in my little Krafty challenge. It's SUPER simple. Just make a project using Kraft cardstock. No Kraft colored cardstock? No worries, a brown paper bag will work just fine. See, I'm not picky!
I made this card for a co-worker of mine. (I know - there's a bow on it. Shhhhh, maybe he won't notice! *snort*) This image is
"The Big Guy Jogging" from
Stamping Bella. My little chick just WUVS this card. She just laughed and laughed when she saw it. She said, "that looks exactly like something you'd see - A BIG guy jogging with a little itty bitty dog!" LOL!! Ok, so I stamped the image onto some of
Bella's Bestest Paper and colored him with my Copics. I matted all the layers with SU Kraft and stitched around the edges. The yellow layer is embossed with my SU embossing folder and I finished with this striped ribbon tied in a bubbly bow with a button in the center! Cute - Cute huh? I'm also entering this card in
February's SFYTT challenge. Here's the February sketch:
Are you INSPIRED?? YES!! Whoopeeee! Ok, I'm expectin' a WHOLE BUNCH of entries between now and Wednesday, k? Just link your project on my
That's Krafty Thursday 47 post below. You have until Wednesday the 23rd at 7:00pm EST to enter. Good Cluck!! {{{hen hugs}}}

ReplyDeleteA bow on a man's card!!!! Just kidding, I think it's perfect. Love this card, great interpretation of the sketch and gorgeous colouring!! I'm inspired yay!!!

ReplyDeleteHa! I love this image! and so true, I have seen this before ;) Great papers and layout too!
ReplyDeleteMy boys have agreed with me, it's okay to put ribbons/bows on a masculine card only if you add a button to cover it, making it a 'manly bow', LOL! Whatever works, right?!
Thanks much!
hugs, margie
You do such awesome work Jeanne! I love Mo's images, but I have trouble with the big spaces on them (like his shirt!) so now I will use this as guide~~thank you!

Awesome card!!
ReplyDeleteLove all the different papers you used. Wonderful coloring as always!
Daniela :)
This image is too funny! I like the Kraft layers! Great combination of DP too and what I love most is the shine you always place in the PERFECT place on the image! Your coloring is A.M.A.Z.I.N.G.! The bow is OK for me, even on a man's card. And on this image it matches with the dog's leash.

I've seen this guy! Really cute card. I would have never put those papers together (no imagination), but they really work.
ReplyDeleteHe is soooo funny! I think I've seen this guy around my apartment!
