One super cool feature I liked right off the bat was the size! These plastic templates are 6x6, so that makes them large enough to cover a whole card if you wanted, without having to piece the design together. You can use them for all sorts of things like sponging, chalking, stippling, etc., but for my card today, I chose to use the template with a "Direct to Paper" technique, to create the checkered pattern on the horizontal border. The template I used is the "Kasbah" design. I applied Versamark ink and then embossed the design with black embossing powder. Super simple and WOW, what a great look! Couldn't be easier to use either. I could also see using them with the colored mists too! Ooooh, wouldn't that be pretty?? I used some SU Soft Suede as my card base and added some DP from Cosmo Cricket's Garden Variety collection. I decided to use this image from the Let's Do Coffee set, also from the TE Store. Can't seem to get enuf' of this set!! Love it! Course, I LUV coffee, so that might have somethin' to do with it!! So anyway, I stamped my image onto some SU Very Vanilla CS and colored it with my Copics. I matted the DP and image with some SU Basic Black CS and I finished up by tying this pretty black saddle stitched ribbon into a cute bubbly bow!! Sniff-sniff... I'm smellin' my coffeeeeeee.... Whooopeeeee!
Be sure to leave a cluck below and let me know what ya think, k? Have a great day and don't forget to stop by the rest of the Baker's Dozen DT and check out what they've done with their templates.

Very nice card. Love the colors. The browns just seem to go with coffee (even though I don't drink it :)

Your card makes me want to pull out my embossing powders. Don't use them very often anymore, but maybe I'll start up again. Thanks for another great card!
