Jingle Bells, Jingle Bells, Jingle all the way!!...... Woo-hoo!! Oooooh, I LOVEEEE Christmas, don't you? I was so excited over this week's
Catch the Bug Challenge "Christmas in July" not to mention, I needed to get started on my Christmas cards anyway.
This little image is
"Candy Cane" in the Christmas Mice section over at
Bugaboo Stamps. Isn't she the cutest? I printed her out on some Fanboy CS and colored her with my Copics. I cut her out with my circle Nesties and sponged some chalk ink around the edges with the die in place. I matted the image with some SU Real Red CS and I added some glaze to her candy cane but I don't think it's visible in the photo. It's SO cute in real life! This DP is from the Be Merry collection from My Minds Eye. I love the soft colors in this collection and the red accents look great with it too! I punched a couple of snowflakes from the SU Very Vanilla and SU Real Red CS and covered them with Diamond Dust for a really cool icy look. Then I finished with this pretty red grosgrain ribbon tied in a cute bubbly bow! It's beginnin' to look a lot like Christmas!! LOL! It'll be here before ya know it, right? Ok, that's it from the hen house today. Be sure to leave me a cluck below and let me know what ya think of my 1st Christmas card and check out the rest of the Bugaboo Design Team for some more great Christmas ideas. {{{hen hugs}}}
