Alphabet Blocks

Mornin' hens!  Remember me telling you about one other project the guests made during the baby shower?  Well, here it is!!  Aren't they the cutest?  I purchased these sanded 2" wood blocks from Spudwoodworks, and Lil' Chick chose all the different patterned papers on one of our trips to Hobby Lobby.  I pre-cut all the paper squares and alphabets for the guests to use.  Each guest was given a small ziplock bag with 6 coordinating paper squares and two different letters.  Then they glued them on during the baby shower and I brought them home and applied Mod Podge to them.  Wasn't that a great idea?  I just loved it and it's something little Jaxon can play with AND keep!  AWESOME!!

Okee dokee, that's it for me today.  I hope you hens have a great day!  {{{hen hugs}}}

  2. Wonderful idea...so much so that my grand child will be a year old son which means a party. This would be great for people to do as an interaction fun time rather than just ditty around.

  6. How clever are you!! I think you are in the wrong line of business. You should run your own craft business and classes and and and!!! Such cute blocks and I guess the first thing he is going to learn to spell is Jaxon, cute.
