Doesn't it look like that's what he's saying? As soon as I saw this image over at "the Digi Shack" I thought, "oh my gosh, he's hilarious!" I don't have many digital images, maybe a dozen or so but they have some really cute ones over at the Digi Shack. The cool thing about a digital image is you can print them at whatever size you need. Very versatile and easy peasy to use. I was a little concerned that the image may smear while I colored it, but it didn't, so I was good to go. Yay!!
I printed this little guy on an 8.5x11 piece of SU Kraft CS and made a tri fold card with it. I have to admit, it took several tries on copy paper to get the sentiment aligned with the image and then to print another sentiment on the center fold inside. But after a few measurements and test pages, it turned out perfect. I colored him with my Lyra pencils and trimed an inch or so off the top and bottom of the front flap so the patterned paper on the second flap would show behind him. The patterned paper is from Fancy Pants' Kraft Kuts line. You remember how much I like kraft paper, right? LOVE it!! I finished by wrapping some ribbon around the card, making two slits in the front to thread it through, and tied it closed. Whoa! I just love it, don't you? Hope you have a great day!

These reminds me of some people... Weird. He's very cute though. Jessica
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh Jeanie!! This is jaw dropping awesome! Seriously, I'd frame him! I love the look of the color on kraft cardstock and it's a real shame I can't get that intense effect with reinkers. :( I think I might be changing mediums if you keep this up! LOL
ReplyDeleteI laughed so hard I was crying. He is Richard to a "T".
