It's Release Day at Taylored Expressions!

Hey hens!! Today is da day!! Yup, it's release day at Taylored Expressions. Woo-hoo!! Today I'm featuring two of the three sets being released today. My first card today was made using the set, "In the Park" and all the supplies used on the card are from the "Summertime" Project Pantry as well. But first, I have a hidden surprise on this card. It's a new HUGE background stamp Taylor is releasing today too! Let's see if you can find it? Look hard now.... LOL! I'm so bad!! Ok, ya give up? It's the fence behind the tree! Fooled ya huh? Seriously, this is a huge stamp and it's a stitched plaid pattern. A very nice addition to any background stamp collection. Now I already knew what scene I was going to create with this set but I couldn't quite figure out how I was going to incorporate this background stamp into it. I finally decided on a fence! So, I only inked one row of the stitching on the stamp and then pressed it against the lower portion of my CS. I stamped the tree right over the fence and again onto a separate piece of CS. I colored the second stamped tree with my Copics and cut only the trunk out with my Exacto knife. I stamped and colored the bench on a separate piece of CS too and cut it out with my Exacto knife and then added all the pieces to the main panel with the fence. The only thing that's really stamped and colored on the main panel is the tree leaves. Everything else is paper pieced. Next, I drew in some ground effects and grass with my Prismacolor pencils and sponged some chalk ink around the image as well. I matted the image with some green CS from the "Summertime" Project Pantry and adhered it to this great DP from the kit too! I tied this ribbon into a cute bubbly bow and finished by stamping the sentiment from this set and punching it out with my scalloped oval punch. Now, just so you know what all is included in the "Summertime" Project Pantry kit, here are some of the specifics:

20 sheets of 6x6 patterned paper from the Echo Park Summertime collection
14 sheets of 8.5x11 cardstock (Snow White neutral)
5 yards of ribbon (1 yard each of 5 different syles)
Sheet of coordinating stickers
Candy Dots (mixture of orange, baby blue, yellow glitter, and green glitter)
Buttons

Now, for my second card, I used the new set "Feeling Groovy" and I also used all the ingredients from the That's 70 Project Pantry kit too. I LOVED this little scooter from the set and decided to use it for my card. But seriously, there are tons of images in this set, and all from the FLOWER POWER era! Woo-hoo!! My high school years!! Ok, so I stamped my image onto some Choice CS and colored it with my Copics. I cut the image out with my big scalloped circle Nestie and sponged some chalk ink around the edges. I cut another big scalloped circle from the pink CS and matted it behind. I ran the two green panels through my Cuttlebug Swiss Dot embossing folder and placed a glitter brad in each corner. To finish, I tied on this pretty green ribbon and there ya have a COOL card, dude! The "That's 70 Project Pantry" includes:

16 sheets of 6x6 patterned paper from the Doodlebug Feeling Groovy collection
12 sheets of 8.5x11 cardstock (Snow White neutral)
5 yards of ribbon (1 yard each of 5 different styles)
6 Peace Brads
16 Glitter Brads
24 Mylar Flowers
24 Rhinestone Flowers
6 Butterflies (2 each turquoise, hot pink, lime green)

Whew! That's a LOT of supplies so the possibilities are endless!
