Nurses sure do put up with a LOT of crying and whining don't they? Whew! I don't know how they do it but aren't we blessed to have them? I made this card for Nurses Day last month and I just love this lady, don't you? Her name is Nurse Stella and she's from I Brake for Stamps. You've gotta check out their Humerous Seniors line! I colored the image with my Lyra's and then sponged around the outter edge with some chalk ink. I cut her out using my oval Nesties and mounted the matted image on some paper from Basic Grey's Lime Rickey collection. I applied some Crystal Effects to her glasses for a little added shine. I used one of Martha Stewart's border punches on a coordinating piece of paper from the same BG collection and finished it off with some ribbon I picked up at Michaels.
Supplies:
Rubber Stamp-I Brake for Stamps; Paper-Basic Grey Lime Rickey; Nestabilities; Lyra Colored Pencils; Punches-Martha Stewart & SU Horizontal Slot; Ribbon; Crystal Effects
Really cute. We are blessed to have nurses and I am glad they are not all like this one. Ha! TFS
